I had a great feeling of accomplishment as I harvested Daphne today. She was the first plant I have brought to life in many years and I was impressed with how the A.B.L.E. Grow Chamber worked. I will let her dry out for a week then I will update more.......It has been a week and I am more than happy with her smoke. VERY SMOOTH no harshness. Great after taste. Even though she was a small plant she still did extremely well in all other factors,: great color, no disease, good tie down technique made for 6 tops with one main one. I will use a single 5 gal bucket for my hydro next grow to see if I get better root growth than with the 6 plant reservoir I used for this operation. The grow chamber allowed me to control the humidity, air temp, pH and PPM with relative ease. I am very happy with my first grow operation with the ABLE Grow Chamber and hope my diary was informative and entertaining for everyone. Main thing i did wrong was my fuck up with keeping the LED too close when she was a seedling. I had it at 10". (it was my 1st time w LEDs.) Secondly, I never got good root growth but not sure why. my theory is that light was seeping through the white plastic cover on the Rainforest 66 reservoir. The best thing I did was controlling all the factors needed to grow with my A.B.L.E Grow Chamber Prototype. It made great use of limited space and saved electricity with its low power usage. Look forward to using it one more time before we make the first salable model. 0

Not much to report this week. She's starting to smell more funky like that good dank stank. Before it was all pine and citrus scents. You can catch a whiff without having to rustle with it. Her buds are stacking nicely and looking THICK thick. I think the next few weeks are gonna be just that.... fattening up and ripening. Her colas are nicely shaped and even the bottom "popcorn" nugs feel dense. Def bigger than popcorn nugs I've seen. Anyways here's the update on her, I hope you enjoy following the grow! Happy Growing 馃槉

This is the start of week 9, just feeding the plants just ph water. Been noticing the tips yellowing and curling and a little brown. So we are thinking it's just over nutrients. Ppm is based at recommended amount from manufacturer, but might be high for this strain. I noticed some of the sugar leaves have some terpines starting to come. It's like a twinkling vampire, lol.

More defoliation later this week, will update photos :) ... bud sites just barely starting to form, I absolutely love this strain, it's not like other Cali Kush I've tried, it hits like an indica, so much so, we use is as a night time herb

It's seems that they weren't happy in the small pots, I decided to transplant and see if the recovered. A new seedling appeared. Raised power of Mars Hydro TS 1000 from 50% to 100% I'm not sure if the leaves are yellow because of lack of nutrients or excess, I'm experimenting with Bio Bizz All Mix. I decided to lay back on nutrients for the moment.

Hello 馃憢, Gratitude. Sugars UP. Nitrogen Down. 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen (C:N) ratio is widely considered the ideal or optimal ratio for rapid and efficient nutrient recycling and decomposition by soil microorganisms. This balance ensures vigorous microbial activity without tying up excess nitrogen (immobilization) or losing it as gas or through leaching (mineralization). Anthocyanin production significantly increases in plants experiencing nitrogen shortages. Low nitrogen conditions trigger the up-regulation of both structural and regulatory genes involved in the anthocyanin biosynthesis pathway. Carotene is a pigment responsible for the yellow and orange hues in leaves. Chlorophyll is the engine of photosynthesis, while carotene acts as a supporting system that expands the engine's fuel range and prevents it from overheating. Without carotene, the photosynthetic system would be far more susceptible to light damage, but without chlorophyll, the process of photosynthesis as we know it would not occur. Anthocyanin synthesis is a visible marker of a plant's response to unfavorable growth conditions, including low nitrogen, phosphorus deficiency, high light exposure, drought, and low temperature. Every box ticked except P deficiency. Dropping night temps to 65F.

Another 2 weeks into flower and Candy Cream Go Fast from Kannabia is blowing past all expectations and delivering a very quick (auto like flower period) but with strong female results. The way it's at to maturing these past 2 weeks is amazing. I've not been able to give my plants the greatest of care at the moment. But with Xpert Nutrients and Kannabia it's a combo that is very hard to get wrong. I'm getting a lovely finish (fade) and terpine profiles (smells) are astounding and uber sticky. All these Nutrients above were given separately over a 2 week period with water feeds in between each, 2 master bloom & calmag + Enzymes/root were used often too. Ph to 6.5-7 Ppm for bloom stayed 4-450ppm. Light lollipopping was done last week. Needed to allow air to flow through the un lst'ed branches and too much bud. I wish I'd given my plants more care. But, last 2 months have not been good. Crypto market has me in a real bind atm and having to actually work is killing me. Must be in the 6th week of flowering going into the 7th. Staying on what's above and making sure to keep the soil moist or not let it get to dry is paying off.
