Days 15 to 17, varying by plant: My journey of experimentation, aiming to refine and perfect my cannabis cultivation methods, continues. This venture’s ultimate objective is to position myself as a preeminent cannabis cultivator in my locale. As I navigate through the labyrinth of regulatory licensing, I’m conducting a trial run with my seedlings under continuous lighting conditions and a minimal nutrient regime. My primary goal during this phase is to identify any potential hiccups that could hinder the growth process and ultimately impact the productivity of my intended commercial operation. As I delve deeper into this exploratory phase, I draw invaluable insights from the thriving cannabis community, whose collective wisdom informs my decision-making process. Given my geographical location and available resources, I’ve opted for a strategic shift in my cultivation strategy. Previously, I’ve been procuring seeds at an average cost of $10 to $22 per seed, with a relatively broad success rate variance, ranging from 70% to 85%. However, an alternative presents itself in the form of local cultivators. These businesses offer cannabis plants aged between 2 to 4 weeks, boasting an impressive variety of over 100 strains. These juvenile plants are offered at a cost-effective rate: an average of $100 for eight plants. With a success rate hovering between 70% and 95%, these plants offer excellent value. Essentially, I can access pre-grown plants at a substantial discount, in turn significantly boosting my chances of success. Consequently, I am poised to transition away from growing cannabis from seeds to harvesting. By sourcing my plants from local cultivators, I stand to significantly reduce overhead and production time—an undeniably smart move from a business standpoint. This strategic pivot signifies the end of an era and the exciting beginning of a more efficient and cost-effective chapter in my cannabis cultivation journey. I am currently outlining a plan to expand my cultivation by acquiring several juvenile plants, which should be happening between July 1st and 3rd. The new additions to my garden will include Acapulco Gold, Gelato, White Truffle, and Runtz. These will be cultivated in harmony with the existing growth, which comprises God’s Gift, Northern Lights, and the final surviving F1 Epsilon. My primary objective is to establish the most efficient and cost-effective supply chain possible. I aim to achieve this through the use of an off-grid system that runs solely on solar power, which will ensure complete sustainability and renewability. From a business standpoint, this approach is advantageous as it allows me to leverage the growth of high-quality plants that are already in the cultivation phase. The new plants are expected to arrive in about a week. If the growth rate of the currently cultivated plants doesn’t meet expectations, I’ll be incorporating several of the newly arrived plants into the hydroponics systems. This methodical approach aims to ensure an optimal growth rate and the highest possible yield. I also wish to address the cannabis grower community directly. I hope that my decision to skip the seed-to-plant stage does not cause any offense. My intentions are simply focused on maximizing quality and output, while minimizing our carbon footprint. I believe this approach is in the best interest of sustainability and efficiency, without compromising on the quality that our community values so highly. Hello my grower friends. As @xii_xii_mrgreen suggested me, I am sharing with you the recipe for Marrakech butter. It's cannabis butter made with all the leftover waist, curing, and leftover grinders. Each time a leaf is filled with resin, I put it aside. After a few sessions, I have enough to make ganja butter. For this tour there are cultural leftovers loaded with THC and almost as much CBD. It is also a good technique to fully use plants grown outdoors that have more leaves than indoors. Ingredients and utensils I live in an area that produces a lot of butter. I chose the best: echiré butter. https://www. echirelebeurredefrance. fr/ I saw some at Harrods, KDW and Corte Ingles. I only visit the top floor of these stores. Otherwise, choose a good, greasy, yellow butter. Gauze or compresses filter the mixture finely so as not to find small pieces of grass in the butter. This recipe is only valid for real butter and does not work with vegetable butter. Preparation Before rolling the recipe you can boil your ganja for 5 minutes to “clean” it if it is dusty. It must then be dried for at least 2 days. I do not do this so as not to degrade the good stuff and when cooling the impurities remain at the bottom in the juice, the butter is on top. Recipe THC and CBD are activated by decarboxylating ganja. You have to put everything in the grinder first, there are other faster techniques, but the grinder produces a fine cut. I used a bigger one than in the photo. Place everything on a wire rack with baking paper for 40 minutes at 110°C in the oven. It smells great, watch out for your neighbors. At this stage you can set some aside to season your pizza. Estimate the quantity compared to what you put into a hit. It is not necessarily a good idea to put it in a simmering dish because it changes the taste a lot. I melt 4 times the weight of the butter leaves in 4 times the weight of the butter in water. So here for 35g of leaves I melt 140g rounded to 150g of butter in 600g of water in a stainless steel saucepan. Heat until the butter. Add the leaves and mix gently. Cover a tiny amount of broth. The water stays below and should not completely evaporate. This is very important otherwise the butter or the leaves are burnt. It is necessary that the grease begins to isolate on the surface. It takes between 2 am and 3 am. It smells much less good than in the oven and disgusting, which is why I do not recommend putting it in stewed dishes. Allow to cool to room temperature. When the soup is lukewarm it must be filtered. To facilitate demolding, I recommend that you put plastic film at the bottom of a fully concave bowl, put gauze or compresses to refine the filtration. It's also easier to press the rest of the leaves. The fats will float on the cooking juices. When the bowl is cold, put it in the fridge. The next day unmold. I got 92g of Marrakech butter. Potency should be tested on an empty stomach and adjusted in small quantities every hour. Use Butter is ready and can be consumed immediately. It is perfectly digestible but the taste is not very good. In the form of butter, the best is to spread it on bread with a slice of smoked salmon on top, a few drops of lemon and serve a glass of chablis. Very good also spread on bread to accompany oysters. Probably its green, grassy taste is reminiscent of seaweed. It loses some of its flavor mixed with chocolate and spread. You can melt a little bit of it in the tomato sauce of your pasta or the soysauce of your rice especially if you eat fish: soysauce water nuoc mam 30 seconds in the microwave, melt only after a little butter in the hot sauce and pour over your rice. You can use it in all hot or cold culinary preparations in place of regular butter if you don't use it all, cut it into individually wrapped portions in cling film and put all of these portions in a freezer bag in the freezer. Lots of buds, very good smell, some thing like candy but with some diesel under tones and sweet smell. Cant explain, but its very unique! Also lots of crystals! 🎆🎆 Healthy plants, dont need much Nutrition @ this point! MAC: MAC is a highly sought after Cali cannabis strain. This strain was created by crossing Alien Cookies with Colombian X Starfighter. The plants develop beautiful colored buds that are covered in abundance with resin trichomes. A lot of rain and wind, continuously. Temps have dropped as well. I’m reading another week or two to chop this plants. Sativa dominant hybrids did the best, the Fastberry and the banana purple punch did not really develop as the other two. In specifics the cbd crack developed sizable buds, and the blue dream as well, the flowers are not as developed tight and dense as in the indoor grow. A bit of fox-tailing nothing too expressive. Minimal work, as per the setup chosen, an no extra nutes this week.

Heute ist Tag 28 und den Pflanzen geht es prima. Die MAC#1 hat zur Mimosa etwas aufgeholt und die Tropicana Cookies geht voll aus dem Rohr. Sie scheint schon deutlich weiter in der Entwicklung zu sein und ich bin gespannt, ob sie groß oder schnell fertig wird. Vielleicht ja sogar beides 😅 -------------- An Tag 32 musste ich entlauben, da ich die Triebe nicht einmal mehr von Hand an den Blättern vorbei bekommen habe, ohne etwas zu beschädigen. Dieses mal habe ich mich dazu entschieden, einmal recht radikal zu entlauben, anstatt wie bisher jeden Tag ein bisschen. Ich möchte mir dadurch Zeit und Arbeit sparen und hoffe, dass sie das gut verkraften. Bei der Mimosa bin ich mir da nicht so sicher, da die unter ihrem Blätterpanzer ziemlich klein geblieben ist. Die Äste sind aber sehr dick, also wird sie vermutlich jetzt 2 Tage schmollen und dann nochmal loslegen, hoffe ich jedenfalls 😅

The plant came down after 115 days of life, and 59 days of flower. This is the 5th Papaya Sherbert I've grown, and the 3rd one to herm. I really tried everything possible to ensure the plant was stress-free the entire grow, but it still grew pollen sacks. Thankfully, I know to expect the pollen sacks to show up in week 5-6, so I was on top of it and removed all the problem areas early. The benefit of that is that it pushed me to lollipop harder than I usually do, and I really like how it made trimming easier, and the buds generally bigger. The overall bud structure on this plant was nice, but it did start to fox tail towards the end of its life.

Since 1 of the Tropicana Cookies seedlings died earlier on in veg, it left a spot in veg set up. Due to temperature rising each day as we approach the start of summer, water temperature in Dwc constantly rising to around 25/26 degrees Celsius. Adding & changing out frozen water bottles 3 times a day! Unfortunately still rising over the course of the day. As much as Dwc growing interest's me it's just not pheasable to grow in summer with out a water chiller!!! Risk of root rot is extremely high. Lost a few plants to root rot last year in summer & it seems that the White Widow Auto had started getting a bit of root rot, even adding frozen bottles didn't help. Needed to get her out of Dwc before it got any worse. Since I lost a seedling earlier, I've decided to take her out of Dwc & plant her into the now vacant pot, that's hooked up to a top feed recirculating hydro system. Ever since transfering her she has thrived. Changed light hours for her from 24hrs on to 20 hrs on 4 off. Started to show pistills on day 35/ last day of week 5 veg!

Coming right along. I upped nutes last two weeks but think I am still safe from over feeding. I will be finishing LST and defoliating a little this coming week. Pictures are day 35. I gave this plant 1 litter of nutrients at the above concentration this week. Cracked main cola and now have it braced, taped and healing. Stem seemed a little brittle, so my feeding regime may be off for this plant.

Excited to see some growth! Had clean paper towels, a dark dvd case, a nail file and tweezers. The file was just to break the outer shell a little so they suck up water faster. I'm curious if it works!

Also have 2 Fast Eddy Cbd they shot up as I had ti raise the light another mistake i wont make again. When I water the plants with 500/750mls of water nutrient mix i add a further 500/750 of fresh home brewed worm tea

Girls are looking good. The MBAP is going really quickly, she's flowering at an extortionate rate. I'm unsure if this is because she wasn't topped & Mainlined or if that's just her genetics, as the Sour Melon appears to be quite far behind budding wise. The MBAP really is a budding machine, I'm going to get my gf to take proper pics of them next week for everyone to see. Not much to report, most of the training has finished now on all plants, will do one more defoliation session on the Six Shooter, and 1-2 more on the younger 2, and possibly a bit of tying and tidying up on the younger ones too. Gave all 3 girls a good dose of PK tea the other day and my Bio-PK booster has just arrived from Biotabs, so I'll be adding this in with my weekly PK boost watering. Apart from that, they will be on strictly plain water all the way through to harvest. As you can see, we've got a baby Green Crack, Masszar Haze CBD & Sour Melon on the way as 1 day old babies as well, I'll be doing a separate diary for them. 12/1 update: nothing much more to report, did a defoliation on all plants, the Six Shooter for the final time, and didn't spray them with any recovery spray. The 2 younger girls are drinking several lirres of water a day. The MBAP's flowers really smells absolutely incredible. I'm disappointed by how far behind the Sour Melon is. Worryingly, there isnt much frost on the Six Shooter, who is probably about 2-3 weeks away from harvest. I'll be giving her a strong PK tea this weekend, her second-to-last one. I like to give the final one about 10 days before I harvest, as I harvest the tops and then leave the bottom half to develop for a further 3-5 days. The new girls are about 3 days old. I have started a separate diary for them.
