🌿 Week 3 – Vegetative Stage – Mango Kush + Lava Cake (Zamnesia Seeds) Grower: Dog Doctor Strains: Mango Kush & Lava Cake (Pheno 1 + Pheno 2) Pots: 11L Amnesia Fabric Pots Light: Future Off – Black Series 600 Tent Size: 8x8 (Shared Space) Climate Control: TrolMaster Ecosystem + Spider Farmer GGS Watering: Hand-watering for all plants (automated watering coming soon) CO₂: 632 ppm Room Temp: 27°C Humidity: 57.4% Airflow: Dual 6-inch exhaust systems + filtered intake Carbon Filters: TrolMaster AeroFan 6” + Spider Farmer 6” with GGS control ⸻ 🌱 Transplant Day – A Ritual of Roots This week marks a huge step: our girls have moved into their forever homes, 11L Amnesia fabric pots, and they’re already loving the extra space. The Mango Kush queens, along with Lava Cake Pheno 1 and Pheno 2 (only 4–5 days old, but already catching up), were hand-selected to move forward toward flowering. Their roots were strong, white, and vibrant, ready to stretch and expand. Fabric pots were chosen for a reason: Why Fabric Pots? • Air pruning: Roots don’t circle and strangle—when they hit the pot’s breathable edge, they stop and branch instead. • Breathability: Improves oxygen flow to the root zone. • Drainage: Prevents overwatering and keeps the medium healthier longer. • Mobility & structure: They hold shape while allowing movement, especially useful early in veg. These pots don’t just hold soil, they shape roots, which shape the entire plant. ⸻ 🌱 Soil Mix & Nutrient Support The super soil mix was created with care and intention, using select amendments from Aptus Holland: Transplant Soil Mix: • Super soil base • Aptus Mycor-Mix – Mycorrhizae to build root partnerships • Aptus Micro-Mix – Adds beneficial bacteria for microbial balance • Aptus Substrate Buffer Powder – pH stabilization & nutrient interaction balance Feed Mix (per liter): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml: Strengthens cell walls and enhances nutrient transport • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml: Structural support for fast vegetative growth • 💧 Aptus All-In-One Liquid – 1 ml: A complete, balanced base nutrient • 🌱 Aptus Start Booster – 2 ml: Roots, roots, and more roots Watering Stats: • pH: 5.83 • EC: 1.01 • Water temp: 18.5°C Each drop is measured with love, and the girls are responding with lush, deep green growth. ⸻ 🌬️ Airflow, Filtration, and Clean Breathing Air management is everything in a multi-strain tent, especially during veg. We’ve set up: • Two 6-inch extraction systems • TrolMaster AeroFan 6”, controlled through the full TrolMaster ecosystem • Spider Farmer 6”, on a GGS controller for dynamic response • Filtered intake to maintain positive pressure and pure airflow 🌫️ Why Carbon Filters So Early? While many growers wait until flowering, we use carbon filters now to ensure clean air, remove any potential VOCs, and keep the space fresh—especially important in a shared environment. It’s about starting with purity and keeping it that way. ⸻ 🧠 What This Week Is and Isn’t What it is: • A week of foundation setting: transplant, soil structure, environmental prep • A time of root expansion and big shifts in the grow’s energy • The moment our girls step into their long-term rhythm • An opportunity to fine-tune TrolMaster automation for watering, climate, airflow What it isn’t: • A week for high-stress or pruning • A time to push nutrients hard, everything is still about balance and observation ⸻ 🎥 What’s Next? Next week we dive into post-transplant development, what to expect, how to manage early stretch, and when to start preparing for training and shaping. 👉 Subscribe on YouTube so you don’t miss it, especially if you want to follow how two different Lava Cake phenos grow side-by-side with our queen Mango Kush. ⸻ With roots grounded, airflow singing, and the TrolMaster lights blinking like magic, DD (Dog Doctor) 🌱💚✨ 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. It's forming layers in my tent, wish I could capture on video but its not picking it up😕 hoping it relates to strong offspring. 05/12/2018 Fourth week of flowering males are in overdrive! Making clouds of pollen I am gonna harvest some for later use (it can last 6months or more of stored correctly. I try and get video. Wish me luck👍🙏 05/14/2018 Harvesting pollen from the the boys. Video not greatest but you get the idea., Picture of #1 pollen and flower, will keep harvesting for a couple days, then cut off flowers and back to veg tent for more test. 06/18/2018 Coming up on sixth weeks after pollination, found two seeds popping out of the buds LAST week and I r germinated today!

It’s the 9th week of flower and this run is slowly coming to an end. Mimosa is by far the fastest finisher here. In 8 weeks there is around 30 % amber trichomes in the top buds. A little too much for my taste. I ve reduced the ec in the medium of mimosas to around 1.0 and took the drippers out. Now they will dry out fully in around 1 or 2 days and I will chop. The rest is more or less similar and will go for about a week more.

And the time to stop feedings and extra boosters as arrived since the fall colors start to pop and at this time that means the end is closer, so cut everything but the fluvics and the enzymes, this because i like to keep my soil alive for reusing purposes This girls have came along way and they are huge, not only size i mean look at them fruits the size of an harm, i am definitely stressing her clones again for next run since this looks like will be the best ever so far she is performing, The smells , OMG the smells are just getting stronger and stronger, i said this before but i will say it again, this one live a wine vine is evolving with time and i am loving that she is maturing and becoming a way more complex medicine and faster flowering also, i believe this one will be ready for harvest in couple weeks maximum but lets see how it all goes <3 <3 <3 Fall is moving fast in this tent and i have the felling they will finish faster than the previous runs were i tested them genetics, non so ever this is just retarded, i mean they are both BEAUTIFUL truly, they are going way , but way beyond any expectation i had on almost death plant , OMG thats write they almost dyed on me and now they are like this , thank you Universe and Aptus Holland <3 <3 <3 As always thank you guys for your love , your time, your support and it all, i fell blessed and i am truly thankful <3 <3 <3 All info and full product details can be find in can find @

Done a tiny bit of defoliation. Have not spotted any signs of hermy yet, will see how we go next week. Good week again. Plants living the light, getting around 900-1200 ppfd according to Photone app.

GSC is a small bonsai in full form. The leaves are very green and in health the flowering phase has begun, the trunk is swelling to be able to hold tasty and fragrant buds.

The BMR sisters are in overdrive, it's looking like stretch has stopped now that we're 14 days into stretch, and the canopy is wonderfully uniform, nothing else to say this week except everything is looking great!

Wow good growth this week. Early in the week I noted she fell over and needed support. Seemed very top heavy. She seems to be growing much faster, much earlier in a small pot as opposed to my normal 20L pots... Still don't know if she's auto/photo yet either 😬

Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. Use the pressure compensating type. https://growdiaries.com/diaries/232811-strawberry-cookies-og-r1-cherry-diesel-bbgs-ego-epg-ebg-grow-journal-by-001100010010011110/week/1366923 -- use something similar to those. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

Plucked a few more leaves and rearranged some plants this time around. Other than that just changed the nutrient solution as usual. I like to break the resin heads with my fingers by rubbing a sugar leaf to get a nice smell from the plants and these smell of a very fruity scent with a hint of pine on the end. Hopefully I can bring out some of that profile in the cure. 👍

This is just for the gorilla zkittlez so far I will probably try to put all 5 on here but started 2 about 45 days apart from each other and the 5th seed about 3 weeks after the 2nd round. The 5th seed died from transplant shock (won’t be transplanting autos anymore) but the 2nd round of 2 plants just started flowering. I got 85 grams from the zkittlez and 60 grams from the afghan kush after drying. Not great but I’m happy it’s smokeable and smells/ tastes good. starting 2 bloody skunk today (5/11) because the gorilla cookies never germinated unfortunately :( . all out of seeds now so i will be maknig an order this week. still have 2 more strains to figure out when flowering kicks in more tho so that will be my fun for the next 1-2 months lol

Now they are a bit bigger , this is the start of week 2 , now day 19 in real time from germination. I would appreciate any help to maximise the yield. I feed around 500-600 ppm. How much should the drain be ? I have to plants struggling, one had 500 run off , should I give nutes or flush them more ?

Amazing progress across the board in the tent the last week. Development has been positive for The New and Black Dog, Bubba has swollen up bud wise, and it’s still another week away or so (flowering is supposed to be 50-55 and we’re at 50 today). Chemdawg smell is getting stronger but not too aggressive, and it’s fate king nicely on most colas. Even at the bottom of the plant the buds look nice. It’s an amazing strain, can’t wait to smoke it.
