Week 3 Veg – Transplant Time, System Prep & Roots in Focus Strain: Gelonade Grower: Dogdoctor Type: Feminized Environment: Indoor Tent | LEDs | Dual Controlled Airflow ⸻ 🌱 Overview This week marked a key transition in the Gelonade grow: Transplant into final 11L fabric pots, Environmental tuning, TrolMaster ecosystem preparation, … and most of all: the official selection of the two chosen phenos that will move forward into flower. The girls are thriving. Roots are looking stunning. Leaves are proud and full. The journey deepens, and we’re ready. ⸻ 🌿 Selected Phenotypes After careful observation, Gelonade #1 and Gelonade #2 were chosen as the lead phenos for the full grow journey. Both exhibited: • Strong early structure • Balanced leaf symmetry • Vigor and resilience in early veg • Root density and color that promised excellent transplant response All three looked beautiful, but these two earned the spotlight. ✨ ⸻ Soil Mix & Nutrient Support We prepared a specialized super soil mix enriched with high-quality biological amendments from Aptus Holland to give the girls everything they need for explosive veg. Transplant Mix: • Super soil base • Aptus Mycor-Mix – to inoculate roots with beneficial mycorrhizae for symbiotic nutrient exchange • Aptus Micro-Mix – full-spectrum microbes and bacteria to build a thriving root biome • Aptus Substrate Buffer Powder – stabilizes pH, locks in ideal nutrient availability 💧 Feed Mix (per liter of water): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml: Cellular armor, nutrient flow, anti-stress shield • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml: For foundational frame building • Aptus All-In-One Liquid – 1 ml: Core NPK and micro blend • Aptus Start Booster – 2 ml: Encourages new root branching and initial canopy formation 🌊 Water Stats: • pH: 5.83 • EC: 1.01 • Water Temp: 18.5°C ⸻ Fabric Pots – Why We Use Them The girls were transplanted into 11-liter Amnesia fabric pots. Why fabric? • Air pruning: As roots reach the edges, they hit air, which stops circular binding and encourages lateral branching. • Oxygenation: Roots receive more oxygen through the breathable fabric, boosting metabolism. • Drainage: No soggy bottoms here. Fabric pots keep your medium airy and prevent overwatering issues. These are the final pots — no further transplants will be done. From here, the girls can stretch, root, and build freely. ⸻ Airflow & Filtration A strong root system needs strong air too. This week we’ve been dialing in our environment with dual extractor/intake systems: 🌀 Airflow Setup: • 2x 6-inch extractors: • TrolMaster Aerofan 6” – controlled by the TrolMaster system • Spider Farmer 6” – managed by the GGS controller • 1x 6-inch intake fan with carbon filter 🌫️ Why Carbon Filters (Even Early On)? • Odor control is obvious — but more than that, they filter airborne particles, spores, and contaminants, keeping air pure and clean, even during early veg. • Healthy air = happy leaves = fast growth. ⸻ 🔧 TrolMaster Ecosystem – Automation Incoming While everything is still being hand-watered, we’re preparing to connect the full grow to the TrolMaster system: • Environmental control (humidity, temp, VPD) • Light cycle syncing • Fan response automation • Future irrigation control for specific zones Not all plants will be automated, we’re keeping some fully manual to compare growth responses. That’s the Dogdoctor way: grow, observe, experiment, evolve. ⸻ 📸 Media & Studio Time The girls were looking so stunning, we took them into the studio for a proper photoshoot. These are living models — vibrant, proud, and photogenic. Likely we’ll do another shoot next week, before they get too large to safely move. Expect high-gloss glamour and leaf-candy content. ⸻ 🌿 What to Expect (and Not) After Transplant ✅ Expect: • Slight temporary slowdown (1–2 days max) • New root tips forming within 48–72 hours • Visible growth surge as roots expand into fresh soil • Fuller, wider leaf spacing ❌ Don’t Expect (yet): • Explosive top growth right away — they’ll focus on the roots first • Stretching — we’re still under strong LEDs with great internodal control Let the roots build the temple, and the temple will grow. ⸻ 📊 Environmental Conditions • Room Temp: 27°C • Humidity: 57.4% • CO₂: 632 ppm • Lighting: Future of Grow Black Series 600 LED • Delivering full-spectrum brilliance — tight internodes, deep greens, and radiant health. ⸻ 💬 Final Thoughts Transplant week is always a sacred moment in a grow, a rite of passage from childhood to adolescence. The Gelonade girls are ready. Their roots are strong, their stems are proud, and their leaves are glowing with promise. This week was a blend of precision and love, preparing systems, mixing soil by hand, and honoring the natural rhythm of growth. From here on out, it’s about watching, adjusting, and letting nature lead. Let’s grow something unforgettable. Haven’t posted for a while but these babies are doing well despite the neglect from a few weeks. I’m locked back in now! Left is one of the Grandpa’s Cookies, middle is Money Maker, right is the other Grandpa’s Cookies. The GPA Cookie on the left is showing nice purple coloring. The GPA Cookies smell just like the Black Banana ancestry I heard about. Nonetheless both are getting really frosty. The money make is shooting out a lot of dense hairs so I’m not sure of this will translate to denser colas but the stretch was no joke. Here is to another week!

We are really a very short time from the harvest, 5 days compared to the six weeks declared and actually we are. The trichoms and red hair are taking color the plant is mature or still lacks little. The flowers are beautiful, the topping at 16 pounds worked great. There is a scent of paradise, of Pussy of beautiful Ninfa Devvero. LIGHT >> MARSHYDRO SP3000 AT 100% OF POWER, we already like it so much because it covers the intact length of the tent. 9/18: New week...fed with Boomerang and Kangaroots 9/19: Applied Axiom harpin proteins and boomboom spray 9/20: Fed full strength TPS One...decent growth. The smaller one is less droopy now. 9/21: Tucked a few leaves and took some photos and a video. Looking good. Just a couple more days of 24/0... 9/22: Switched out the 560w of 5000k CCT lighting for 720w of 3000k CCT lighting and set the timer for 12/12. Decided against 13/11 with emerson effect...trying to save a few bucks on electricity. I'm keeping the lights at 30" from the tops for a day or two. 9/23: The girls loved their first night of sleep...so perky!

Week 4 flower 🌸 Both plants seem healthy and happy so far showing good bud development this week. I have been giving both plants around 500ml of water each in between feeds as the pots are drying up every couple of days. some light defoliation removing a few leafs that were blocking some of the larger bud sites. ✌️

Puppy Love is appropriately named, I'm loving this gal. She grew like a turkey leg, I will top her next time %100. Day 79 she went in the tent for 48 hours of darkness, chopped day 81. I ultimately produced 34 grams of dried and cured dank, citrus, diesel goodness. The buds stacked hard and fast, the trim was easy. Easily the most dense flower I have grown so far. Extremely sticky, great nose, and bag appeal. Smells first of a different fuel, diesel gas. After the grind more floral and citrus notes are present. The smoke isn't as harsh as SYC, the citrus seemed to cut the gas significantly. The high has a pronounced productivity positivity vibe, has me feeling like a puppy. Thank you to Mephisto Genetics, super rad tester/freebie. 10/10

UPDATE: Day 1 of week 14- Thursday 19th Nov!!!! Woop woop! We’re getting close, my magnifying lense arrived and I’ve got my first real good look at the trichomes.. All looking fairly cloudy with about 10-15% ambers coming through. So as we’re super close now I’ve now started flushing. Not doing a run off as have been using Biobizz soil & Nutes. First flush is done and girls are looking happy. One lady seems to have really heavy colas as she’s struggling to stand up straight. So I’ve staked her to keep her more upright. Think she may bring the best yield of all four girls as it stands so far. Final couple of weeks now, I can’t believe I’ve made it this far and really can’t wait to try my first home grown bud🍃 UPDATE: Day 2 of week 14 - Friday 20th Nov: Had to water them early as the girls were very dry after their first flush.. I on average water them every 48 hrs, but they were ready after 36. Already noticing some slight discolouration on the leaves 🍁... Glad I didn’t jump the gun and chop them this week after seeing some amber trichomes.. A bit more LST as they had stretched a little. I’m short on lamp to plant distance but noticed what looked like a little leaf burn on one of the tallest nugs. So did what I could to bring the height of them down just a little 👌 UPDATE: Day 4 of week 14 - Sun 22nd Nov: As soon as the lights went on today, more water seemed required at around 36hrs since the last flush. The girls seem to be loving it! Buds do seem to be fattening up a little more each day and I think one girl is slight more ahead than the others as she has mostly orange pistils compared to the other three.. Still need to see more amber trichomes on all four ladies before they’re ready! UPDATE: Day 5 of week 14 - Monday 23rd Nov: Small amount of LST to keep the girls as even as poss.. Defo seeing some discolouration in the fan leaves now.. All but one of the four girls have nearly completely orange pistils now which are folding back in to the buds. But Trichomes need to be a little more amber before they’re ready.. The fourth lady however is slightly behind with less orange pistils, some white ones still to turn orange and trichomes are still a mix of milky and clear on the lower buds. When I topped this one it didn’t work as well as the others so she has one really massive cola and all the others are much smaller in comparison to the other three plants.. I think we’ve got a week to 10 days left roughly till harvest. UPDATE: Day 6 of week 14 - Tuesday 24th Nov: Another water flush again today.. All seems well, lower small buds still need a few more amber trichomes I think.. But gonna post a question on here to make sure.. Don’t wanna get this wrong. Sooooooo close now and I’ll be seeing 🤩🤩🤩

Good start to the week temps dropping slightly. Some light defoliation and tucked a few branches under the trellis for light penatration a little video in there looks like the stretch has calmed down focusing on producing flower now ... 09/12 a little problem went to find my trellis had come of the clips pulling my canopy into one big ball sorted it and put a pic up of the day after so no major problems or snapped branches luckily thanks for reading happy growing

-Flowering is going well. Gunna try and test the ph of the runoff this week to see if I have an issue. -BC1 has some yellowing leaves near the top of the plant. -WW1 (the bushy plant) has had 2 major haircuts this week. I’m having a really weird issue with some upper leaves turning red! They’re turning red, not dying or falling off just turning red, it’s weird and only happening to this plant. -WW2 and BC2 are doing amazing! Pretty much all green except for the occasional old yellowing leaf -Time to pack on some weight -Midget has started to flower, doubt it will be ready before the cold, we’ll see what happens

This week went by quick but they grew a lot! I didn't do anything different than last week but just increase their water intake from 1L to 1.5L and then followed my same nutrient regiment. I use the Fish Poop then the next day I just water. Then I use the Real Growers Soil Recharge and then I just water the next day. Then I use the MaxiGrow and then I just water the next day. Then I use the Stash Blend and then I use just water the next day. You can pH (using soil) between 5.5 and 6.5 so I always pH my Nutrient Solutions at 6.2 and use my pH'd water which is a 6.8 (7.0 for soil) but I pH my H20 after adding my Nutrient Solutions. I use my H2O that's always 65 degrees! I find it's better and easier to have a bucket with pH'd water ready to go at all times. It makes it easier when watering and feeding your plants especially if you have a few to care of!

Day 37 from seed. 2nd day into week 6. -My focus for this week is to keep room temperatures under 75 degrees since I notice that my roots don’t like high nutrients temp. And since I m in DWC single 5 gallons bucket I don’t have the possibility to chill the water. So I have to keep the room temp lower then I wish to. - Day 41- I have to add nutrients and PH down every 12 hours. My PPM’s goes from 450 to 390 and my PH drift from 5.7 to 6.2 in less then 12 hours. Also I notice some rust on older levels (probably Ca/Mg deficiency). After some research (I’m new to this) I decided to up the nutrients to 600 PPM’s. Hopefully is a good decision. I will really appreciate some feedback.

Earlier watering was fed with nutrients, and my temperature is not low so I should go with minimum to medium quotas with more water avoiding burns, without much runoff mixing with soil compounds and mycorrhizae for better performance I know they need a calcium magnesium for better performance the problem is money I will continue with the use of salt Epson the option I have at the moment, direct sulfur in the soil mix has helped me hear a noticeable change. watering ph 6.2 solution temperature 20 ° - 0.50 g of large white microreceptor 2 days earlier sprayed with ppm-free water via leaves - lights off to serve as a cool-down shower is great for stomata . Simple led panel added as main light source 260watts being divided to 3 plants in the fullspectro tent model, did not get much difference in temperatures compared to HPS, is more the same spectro ratio and UV to reach more directly in the trichomes and terpenes. Moc medium leaves look more like Indica while larger leaves bring one more sativa a set a nice strong sweet smell, I prefer to conclude in the end the true tone I feel, she drinks more water than others the soil is easier to drain So I see in her an ability to take more quotas of nutris, slowly being able to take if necessary always try to avoid burns ...
