Alright, Week 13 of the jungle adventure is here! 🌴🐒 I gave the ladies a good trim so they're getting all the light and breeze they need. ✂️🌬️ Plus, I moved two plants to the side tent. 🏕️ Right now, it's a comfy 27.7°C with 65.8% humidity, so the VPD is a sweet 1.27 kPa. 🌡️💧 Down in the roots, the soil is chilling at 22.6°C with 35.9% moisture and a gentle EC of 0.10 mS/cm. 🌱💧 And yeah, the grow room supervisor is making sure everything's on track! 😼✅ Next week is MJ 26, when it's over we go to flower. 🌸🌼

5-29-19 6-2-19 All is going smooth still. All are stinking, stacking, and looking absolutely stunning. The only "issue", the 2 East Coast Sour Punch are maturing a bit faster than the Popwalkers are. They must be fast finishing phenos is seems. I will let the Popwalkers go as long as possible without the ECSP getting to much amber. One more week of feed, and then I'll start the flush.

First week of flower gone! They are streching nicely, I'm stacking up the EC to give a generative stimulus. Having trouble with the temperature, there's a heat wave going on and I dont have A/C...at least it's not mold! They are holding up nicely, I'm getting a humidifier to help out. Clones are stating to show roots and callus.

Finally moved into the new place... Can't wait to get the 4 x 8 setup then! This one has put on a TON of weight this past week... and is stinky and HARD man... REALLY stoked to chop it down!!!! :D Thank you SO MUCH Sweet Seeds! :D

2nd week of flowering and the girls are doing well.

[ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

Hello Friends 👋🏾 I had a few problems with nutrient deficiency as you could see last week, I managed to solve the issue. I started feeding them nutrients again, as they really started growing fast. I did a lot of defoliation and lollipoping today, as I want the plant to focus all its energy to the top. They drink roughly 3-4L every 3-4 days, I increased my VPD to 1.3 and will go up to 1.4 in 2 weeks, shortly before flushing. I’ll lower the feeding to 2L and will check how long it lasts. Heeey guys! A rather fast update this time, right? I was always 1 week late with the updates but decided to speed things up a little this time! 😋 And now, to summarize this week I'd say it was fun! 😃 While I was still unsure if I wanted to go for 8 colas or just stick with 4 (I wasn't 100% sure last week! I'm a very indecisive person!) and after taking into consideration all the pros/cons and my own skill level I decided to just stick to 4 for now. I don't want the buds to fight for light and since this is my first time doing main-lining I'm sure I might end screwing things up with 8 colas. 😗 Besides what I mentioned earlier I did a lot of trimming (had to cut the remaining branches and extra foliage!) and gave a friend some cuttings of my babies! (after all I had 8 spare ones from each plant!) I also went for a more aggressive with LST since I know I'll need more space between each in the future colas! 💪 I also moved Boomer to a new container, she was getting somewhat crowded in such a small space! (I'm so impressed she's growing so well right now!) 😍 You'll once again see two time lapses showing how my plants were growing, I hope you all will enjoy them! 😉 Probably I'll stick for one or two more weeks in veg (I want the plants to grow a bit more before going into flower) but so far most of the work is done. Finally found sweet spot 86f 70-80%rh with 1500ppm co2 is perfect VPD

Aug 31: Overdose is doing fine and is now five weeks into flowering (or a week behind my two big photoperiods). I broke one of the main stems about a week after topping so it has a weird shape but there are lots of good bud sites so she’ll be fine. Shorter veg time than my two big photoperiod plants and only topped once because I was expecting an auto not a photoperiod plant. If it’s Overdose Fast I’m cool with that as I’ve decided that I prefer fast photos to autos which are more sensitive to setbacks and generally trickier to deal with at large scale. Sep 2: strong plant with lots of buds. Sep 4: adding some potassium silicate every couple days lately while watering.
