Day 63. All is going ok, she has very nice shade of green, maybe was expecting colas to be longer, but this girl jumped the grow train latest, so if i get even 70g of her - ill be very happy ! Day 67. All is progressing very very very nice ! Happy Growing !!!

Eccoci qui... Per problemi di lavoro ho tardato un pò la pubblicazione delle foto, le piccole sono molto in forma ed ho fatto molto bene a puntare su di loro mettendone 2. STRAIN 1 sta sfocando le foglie con un colore viola scuro molto molto interessante, per strain 2 invece il discorso è più lento ma comunque ci sono i primi segni di viola. Grazie a tutti per il supporto, NON VEDO L'ORA DI RACCOGLIERLA 🔥🌲❤️

So far I kinda messed up getting everything done on time. Plants are harvested and in cure now. All in all, the plant would’ve had around 86g dry if I kept it all.

They seemed to drink a lot this week, the environment is stable, and the girls seem to be having a blast. I've checked them throughout and all appeared to be female. Happy growing growmiees

Some of my finished and flowering plants included in pictures, found a small amount of slider mites in my veg tent , as you can see I'm managing it , one more week in the veg tent before I flip them all, I also decided to start one in flower before the rest as I want to stagger my harvest and get back into perpetual growing, Hope you're having a good day everyone 😁

Defoliated and fully leaf stripped. I am going all out to see what happens. Wedding gelato is a fairly tall plant for my tent and future grows will have to be properly trained and tied down. Live and learn. So far happy with the results from hydro grow. Roots have worked their way into the res so I have added an air bubbler to the submerged roots.

WEEK 2 DAY 14 Since last week the babies have taken off! They didn’t have much light until yesterday when I added another 100w led and since then I’ve seen a huge difference ! They are looking super healthy the roots said fuck the pot and grew right through it I’m actually super interested in seeing how these grow up.. The 3 clones that were separate last week are now moved into one single pot to further develop the experiment. They are on the same feed as the mother with flora grow/micro/bloom and cal-mag . And In the last picture you can see my ghettos man way of cloning .. going to see which 2 out of 4 are better rooted and I will move those to a pot in about a week or so. Both phenotypes reached maturity beautifully, wrapped in dense, resin-coated buds that carry the unmistakable aroma of sweetness and spice. 🌱 From Seed to Harvest — A Journey in Full Bloom Our Lava Cake journey began from seed with two unique phenotypes, both full of potential and personality. Week after week, through careful nutrition, TrolMaster monitoring, and endless observation, we watched them evolve. From the early stages of vegetative vigor, through the lush canopy of mid-flower, and even through the challenges of heat and bud rot, these girls showed true resilience. Each setback taught something — about balance, airflow, humility, and the living rhythm of nature. Both plants were ultimately harvested with respect and gratitude. ⸻ ✂️ Harvest & Trimming After about two weeks of slow drying at 60°F / 60% RH, the branches began to snap — a sure sign the moisture was just right. Each plant was trimmed by hand, carefully and patiently, letting every calyx, pistil, and trichome tell its own story. The buds were dense, sticky, and heavily frosted — a trimmer’s delight. Finger hash collected along the way was pure gold, rich in aroma and bursting with terpenes. Each snip of the scissors felt like sculpting something sacred. Both plants were dried whole, allowing for slower moisture migration and a smoother final cure. ⸻ 🌿 On Trichomes and Harvest Timing We chose to harvest when most trichomes were cloudy, with only a few still clear and very few amber. This moment — just before full amber maturity — is where potency meets flavor at its peak. Why cloudy trichomes? Because that’s when cannabinoids like THC and terpenes are at their maximum activity. Too early, and you lose potency; too late, and THC starts converting into CBN, giving a heavier, sleepier effect. Cloudy trichomes deliver a balanced high — euphoric yet grounding — capturing the essence of the strain in its full potential. ⸻ 🌸 Aroma, Taste & Effects The Lava Cake lives up to her name and lineage. Her rich terpene profile brings waves of sweet baked goods, layered with berry and grape undertones inherited from her Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies x Grape Pie heritage. The result was a potent, sticky, terpene-rich concentrate that perfectly captures the soul of the garden. ⸻ ⚖️ Final Yields • Pheno #1: 144g dry • Pheno #2: 99g dry Both phenotypes displayed amazing bud density and structure. In fact, their sheer weight caused a few branches to snap under their own mass — another reason that influenced our harvest timing. Aug 30: very hot for the Labour Day weekend. Defoliated some upper fan leaves that were growing inward and blocking sunlight. Buds need direct sun to ripen. Sep 2: heat wave has past but now we have smoke for a couple of days. Decreased water volume from 9 L/day when it was hot to 5-6 L/day now.

. 🌱 Tag 28 - Eine Woche, die sich endlich wie Routine anfühlt Seit dem letzten Update ist eine Woche vergangen und trotz kleiner Unruhe in den letzten Durchgängen hat sich das Setup diesmal deutlich stabilisiert. Kein pH-Chaos, keine Mischfehler im Tank, einfach konstante Versorgung und gleichmäßiges Wachstum. Wir merken deutlich, dass sich unser Wachstum gerade verändert. Es geht nicht mehr nur darum, größer zu werden, sondern darum, Struktur aufzubauen. Die ersten Anzeichen der Blütephase sind da und der ganze Rhythmus verschiebt sich langsam in diese Richtung. Noch ist es kein kompletter Wechsel, eher ein Übergangszustand. Aber wir arbeiten sichtbar anders weiter als noch vor einer Woche. Wir wachsen weiterhin gleichmäßig und ohne Stresssignale. Die Blätter werden dichter, die Struktur klarer und intern passiert deutlich mehr, als man von außen direkt sieht. Diese Phase fühlt sich ein bisschen so an, als würden wir uns neu sortieren, bevor es richtig losgeht. Das Wasser und die Nährlösung passen aktuell gut zu uns. Der pH wird konsequent auf 5,7 eingestellt und driftet über ein bis zwei Tage auf etwa 6,3, wo er sich dann stabilisiert. EC liegt konstant im Bereich 1,6–1,8. Bisher kommen wir damit sehr gut klar und zeigen keine negativen Reaktionen. 👨‍🌾 Gärtner: Diese Woche war unangenehm unspektakulär. Ich hab mittlerweile den Dreh mit dem Wasser wirklich raus. pH-Management läuft inzwischen bewusst und reproduzierbar, nicht mehr nach Gefühl und Hoffnung. Die anfänglichen Probleme durch Hydrogencarbonate im Leitungswasser sind jetzt eingeplant statt überraschend. Wichtigste Erkenntnis der letzten Tage: Wenn man den pH sauber auf 5,7 einstellt und die EC-Spanne 1,6–1,8 hält, ist das System deutlich weniger anfällig. Der leichte pH-Anstieg über 1–2 Tage auf ~6,3 ist inzwischen kein Problem mehr, sondern einfach ein bekanntes Verhalten des Systems. Nichts, was Panik auslöst. Eher so ein: „Ja gut, du bist halt so“-Moment gegenüber dem Wasser. Und das eigentlich Beste: Die Pflanzen reagieren darauf bisher stabil und ohne Beschwerden.
