Week 16 Everybody is on Flower! End of August: daylight 13h20: 7h20/20h40. Day temperature max: 26°C - Night temperature : 17°C Sunny weather - 2/3 rainy days in 2 weeks Enriched the soil with seaweed powder and bat guano. Continue to add flowering nutrients: Grower Master I added some Calmag one time. Watering 2L/plant every 3 days (2 days would be better) With humidity growing and the relatives hot temperatures: the predators are attacking plants. Everything appears so fast: Aphids, caterpillars, leaf miner flies. Did a general defoliation before spray my mixture Garlic + laurel (12cl Garlic juice + 5cl laurel infusion + 1L distilled water: beware PH!!). I sprinkled diatomaceous earth on top of soil to protect and minimize the infestation. Brake Pad Breath: still deep green and bushy. Flowering since 4 weeks. The most advanced, pretty good flowers with long pistils are growing. Spared until now: the plant is victim of Aphids, miner leaf flies and caterpillars in a « reasonable way »….try to eradicate the problem without shocking the plant at this stage. Flash Back#2: around 2 weeks flowering, stretched a few centimeters more, well developed plants with lot of blooming sites. Relatively spared by pests, just some aphids. GMO X Zombie Kush: some difficulties to recover….just engaged the flowering process, not to bad if she resist to the second pest’s wave. Royal Moby: uncertain destiny….recovering good, sativa style: 155cm, just starting the flowering stage…super late! Harvested a pretty auto flower: White Russian by Serious Seeds. Well developed plant, a little bit long to be ready but resinous and meaty buds.

Great grow, dealt with some pests that took a few plants from me . But overall my best grow quality so far and I’m very happy with the grow!

Fractal week 18 & 19. 7/28 - 8/4-10 I am late for my outside ladies diaries updates. Life has been getting the best of me lately. I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring the ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. Both Opium’s got blown over Auto Opium is thin and spindly and before I could save her from the winds and rain, she got whipped side to side. The top 2 feet bent hard one way and the top 6 inches bent the other direction. The pics show my attempt to bandage the damage 😟 to her top cola with chopsticks and electrical tape. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. Everything in the 2x2 is looking good! Started some LST to open the plants up and get light to all the lower spots. Humidty around 60 to 65 percent bottom watered for the first time in the earthbox. Filled it up until it ran out of the overflow with Springwater. Will water again when chamber goes dry to prevent any root issues so far I am loving the earthbox!

10 weeks / 70 days old today. Buds are all a bit fatter and a bit frostier this week! They glisten in the light and and are well and truly coated. Noticed a few leaves with brown spots this week and after reading up I decided it could be a calcium deficiency. Gave a cal mag feed and monitored and no more brown spots have appeared. We’re pretty close to the finish line now so not sure I’ve done the right thing or whether I should just let it be. Few more old leaves at the bottom started to yellow so chopped them. Some trichomes are starting to turn milky but majority are still clear. Haven’t bothered with a picture because it’s so hard to get a clear one. Still taking up lots of water and giving 3ml of bloom nutrients in every water. Been reading lots about flushing and I’m not sure whether to do it. Read lots that say if it’s cured properly then there isn’t any difference to the taste. I think half the battle is knowing when to do it. How does a beginner know when you’ve got 2 weeks left?! Been tempted to chop off the popcorn buds and so glad I didn’t. I put some bulbs lower down to give them plenty of light and they’re fattening up pretty well. Bit worried again about the space issue. Lots of new pistils have sprouted and most are around the top buds. Read that it could be foxtailing due to light stress but could also just be buds fattening out and having a last try at pollinating 🤷🏻‍♀️ who knows! Overall another exciting week getting closer to the finish. Booked our summer holiday for August and trying to decide whether to start a new grow when these finish. there’s a risk they might not be done in time but I’m desperate to try again and improve on this one. I have well and truly got the grow bug!!

Started the new nutes a few days ago w/ epsom salt. Before that, for a day & a half, I used plain pH'ed water & trimmed off affected leaves. Such a slow grow 😕

Not a lot happened last week, just monitoring, feeding, and keeping everything in check while the girls did their thing. I did switch over to my finishing nutrients and have cut out calmag according to feeding chart I have been following. I think we are gettting pretty close to harvest though! The trichomes are starting to get a little milky. I am going to wait until about 30% amber to harvest though. I am getting super excited to finish this one and start my next run! 9/2 - The girls have been doing great and are starting to pack on the size and frost nicely! Nothing to do to them really except monitor and keep checking and making sure everything is running at an optimal level. The closer it gets I start to get a little nervous for the dry. I am prepared and have a plan, just hopefully I can get my dry set up as dialed in as I was able to get my grow tent. I will try to post more updates this week. Last week I had company from out of town, so it was difficult to get around to it. 9/5- Just continuing to monitor and check the trichomes, once about 25-30% turn amber I will be harvesting! They are starting to get pretty cloudy right now. When I did the res change yesterday, I switched to just root drip and full tilt and have started flushing, hopefully not too early, but im following my feeding chart. 📆 Semana 9: La Auto Pablo Escobar mantiene un ritmo estable en floración. Los cogollos siguen engordando y aumentando en densidad, con una producción de resina que no deja de sorprender. Los tricomas son mayoritariamente lechosos, aunque aún se observan muchos pistilos blancos, señal de que la planta todavía tiene margen para seguir desarrollándose. El aroma se vuelve más complejo y envolvente, con notas dulces y cítricas que se intensifican día a día. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Installed Viparspectra XS1500 Pro bringing the total wattage to 250W. I will be installing (2) Viparspectra P2000 and moving the Vivosun VS100 (100W) eventually to a new 2x2 tent for eventual perpetual grow bringing the total wattage in the 4x4. Current 4x4 1 Viparspectra XS1500 (150W) 1 Vivosun VS1000 (100W) = 250W Eventual 4x4 2 Viparspectra P2000 (240w) 1 Viparspectra XS1500 (150W) = 480 - 630W Eventual 2x2 Vivosun VS1000 (100W) = 100W No Nutes, only Recharge, will be applying top dressing next week for the 3 gal Gelato X Purple Punch in pre flower.

Chopped her down day 66. She's hanging rn, will update you guys with the weight soon! Looking forward to trials! She smells nice and lemony and holy shit I got a ball of hash off the scissors. The size of a button but still amazing for such a small plant.

I’m getting so jazzed about this Bruce Banner Auto, upside down grow. Week 8 and she’s getting thicker everyday. I wasn’t sure if she would really amount to a nice grow but it has surpassed my expectations and is turning into a beautiful plant, no real issues to speak of, I do put her under cover every night and pay extra attention to this one but over all what a great experiment #peace ✌️🌱✌️
