I lost a ton of leaves on the NL after a cal mag deficiency that I wasn’t able to correct. But it’s still budding. The ICE is thickening up slowly but surely.

I should have probably let the clones go bit longer and get better established roots before putting them into the DWC net pots.

Each 1L jar has exactly 28g, it took a long time to sort through this. I think I left them hanging for maybe 6-12 hours too long as the RH in a lot of the jars are below 55% (target is 62%). Some remedial action was taken, and I cut off small pieces of the main stem or trunk from the left over carcasses which has successfully brought the RH back up over 60%. The hash I made from dry ice and 160 micron bubble bags is on a whole other level, I have added a video close up of the pucks I made with a pollen press, almost 0 leaf matter! - This actually might be my new favourite way of smoking weed, hash on the common market is low quality and full of plant matter. I ran her low on EC for the entire grow, using the Botanicare KIND range. Max EC was about 1.8 - but averaged between 1.2 and 1.6 throughout most of the flowering cycle. This grow beats the hell out of my first, and I hope it wasn't just a lucky fluke! I ran the same lights, 2 x 315w Euro Style CMH fixtures. 8/17 - Fed the ladies with liquid nutrients today. Also did some selective defoliation. The soil looks really healthy. You can see how happy my worms are. The two are coming along nicely and just starting to bud. 8/19 - Top fed all the ladies today with Uprising Grow, Uprising Bloom, and Elemental. 8/21 - They are in bloom! They are beginning to flower and looking lovely. In between feedings I water with RO water and molasses. They seem to love it. 8/24 - Blooming along nicely! Watering just about every day now. Added some mulch to the tops that I made from the dried leaves I take during defoliation. Hoping to keep the tops a little more moist.

Spider Mite infestation. I put the story in the pictures. Long story short, the infestation focused on the lower (ticker) branches of AK2 and this explains the undergrowth compared to her sisters. The trichomes are half-cloudy / milky and she will be ready for harvest within a maximum of 2 weeks. I defoliated her by removing nearly all leaves and put her aside in the grow room. Open to any other suggestions. I also confess that I neglected the plants and did not check the source of the white point. I also used some of the soils I used in other outdoor plants which I believe the source of the infestation. Seed Formations AK2, again produces seeds in lower branches. I did not pollinate this one and there is no other source that she is pollinated. I didn't see any Bananas, too. I am thinking it might be because of the stress from the Spider Mites. Open to any suggestions on that too. Other Two Girls I spotted some mites on them too, but it was not alarming. I defoliated the infested few leaves and they will be okay. Jack Herer needs two and White47 might need another 3 weeks and that is it. I think they all will be okay until then. I will keep a close eye on them. Sorry for not good news this week.

Dehumidifier arrived last week and works really well. Since there is a heatwave in germany i had humidity levels of 80+% and now i can regulate down to 50%. Only the high Temperature Kind of Sucks. I am Glas the tent is in my basement, so it Never goes above 30 degrees but its Not ideal. Also there is another Issue now, i have bugs in my tent, probably thrips. I noticed them 3 days ago and got nem oil and ordered some other bugs (dont know how they are called in english) so they dont destroy my plants. Really annoying, but since this is my first grow ever and some of my Environment conditions are Not ideal i expected difficulties. I hoped it wouldnt be bugs, but lets See how i am able to handle Thors

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s, they are hanging and drying now. The 3rd is definitely looking better than the first 2. I think the first 2 will probably be turned into edibles, rather than smoked. The 3rd is looking much better overall and especially in terms of bud development, she will probably be smoked. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Всем привет! На прошлой неделе у меня начались проблемы с листьями. Было очень похоже на нехватку магния или кальция. Но внимательно проанализировав места локализации проблемы, я пришел к выводу, что это световой ожог. Во-первых, лампа была запущена на максимальную производительность. Во-вторых, страдали только верхние листья. В-третьих, проблемы были только у тех листьев, у которых не было трихом. В-четвертых, обычно страдают обе пары листьев, а в нашем случае только те, что были ближе к лампе. Пришлось убавить мощность, чтобы и листья не страдали и чтобы трихомы не испарялись зря. Как итог - прогрессирование некроза прекратилось. Но пришлось все испорченные листья удалить, чтобы проконтролировать текущее состояние и заметить проблемы в будущем. К тому же, дал больше света нижним шишкам, а само растение практически осталось таким же пушистым. Еще начали отпадать самые нижние листья, которые практически не получали света. Так как азота было предостаточно на веге, они не желтели, а больше стали серыми и сами отвалились. Полиплоидный бутон начал расти в бок. А новых ростков из устья листьев больше не появлялось. НО!!! Я сперва не замечал, а когда обрывал листья, заметил, что там где у шишек растут листья, у всех крупных из них растут такие не маленькие шишечки, из-за чего в целом шишка становится жирной и толстой. Полистал другие репорты и обнаружил, что это привычное дело для этого сорта. Интересно, что запах снизился. На веге оба фильтра работали на полную мощность, а обычной травой все равно пахло. Сейчас имеем около 20 колл, а запаха нет совсем. Либо угольные фильтры хорошо прям терпены фильтруют, но не фильтруют запах свежескошенной травы, либо действительно, из-за светового ожога испарялись трихомы и поэтому запаха убавился. По моим рассчетам нам осталось еще 4 недели, то есть ровно половина цветового периода прошли. Спасибо что заглянули.

This grow with the TSW2000, FC4800 and 8x8 Grow Tent has come to an end🤘🤘. I'm so happy with the results mars hydro has done👍. Best lights you can get in my opinion and TONS of other people agree with me on this too👍. I always say mars hydro gets em frosty and their lights DID get em nice and frosty and the buds are so tasty and smell awesome🤘. I trimmed up 6 plants so far. Got 9 more to go. And it seems like I get a 1liter Mason jar per plant and is about 2 ounces per plant. Some are a bit more than 2.
