Rainbow melon from fastbuds is for sure a winner.its a cross from fastbuds melon plant they use in a lot of there crosses and it’s crossed with a exotic genetics plant and they are known for really frosty plants. Fastbuds did a great job of capturing the exotic colors and tastes and smell and tricomb density from the exotic genetics plant and then it added with the large melon nugs to be a really great plant. I already got another pack of the rainbow melon seeds my goal is to breed a good pheno of it with my gas tax x Obama Runtz seeds that I have that grow som killer. I would hope crossing with this plant would bring some colors and larger nugs to the party. This plant is amazing I would suggest growing it. Our Gush Mintz Automatic from Zamnesia has given us great satisfaction, this one is a nice big plant that will give us about 80-100 gr. ** We remind all users that we grow two plants per strain, one worked with specific techniques and the other left to grow freely and beautifully or worked with uncut techniques to preserve speed. In this case the first was worked with LST but after a mistake with the main lining that had led to the breakage of a brunch and this one with a single topping. Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Song of the week : Eminem - Fall ------- Day 87 - Back for another week🤘 , that grow seems to be endless ⏲️ but you can put it in me as I am on a Nitrogen excess since... a lot of time. But the lady is good , buds are packing and smelling really nice : a mix of Guyana/pineapple/bubble gum 😍😍😍. Contrary to the leaves the buds are clear green , did not check the trichomes yet but I can see many but not that much , I would like her to be just a bit more frosty. Yesterday she get a 1.80 Ec feeding with 6.4 PH and no runoff, feed with megacrop+calcium (once again I'am not doing what I said last week 😅). -------- Day 88 - Water with clear rain water with EC 0.03 ph 6.3 and the runoff was 1.98EC and 5.8Ph. Next watering will be water + calcium to low the nutrients amont of the coco and to prepare the plant to a low N feeding for the next weeks. I will only use GHE rippen the last weeks then flushing. Today I check the trichomes and they are all milky (90% at least) so I hope they will soon become amber. -------- Day 90 - I just water her with clear water yesterday as she started to burn a bit due to the high EC in the medium. Couples flush should get rid of it but it means that I'll go light on the next feedings. She's also packing beautiful nugs, last week was a good fattening one ! She' still Dark green but the buds are clear. And the most important thing : She's out since a week now -------- Day 91 - Last day of the week and an ultra hot day with 31/32 °C outside 😲. Haven't ran into any problems so far. The buds continue to fatten nicely. I increased the nutrients by 2ml as they getting more thirsty in the last phase of its cycle. Harvest is nearing.

In this week I stopped with Alga Bloom - Nutrients. Being busy only with watering PH 6,5. Also I took CO2 generator out the tent. Can't wait to get those little girls milky/ruby :)

I have not been able to post for a week because I broke my tent and had to order new one. The plants sat in the dark for a week as a result. Now they have been back in my new tent for 5 days. I started today with growth nutrients with an ec of 0.7 and PH 6.2 and in a few days I will top the plants.

Evening all...back on it AGAIN!!!! Worst is, in the middle of a heat wave (Hottest day every recorded in this part of the world a couple of days in a row!!!)...still need to finish trimming my last crop!!! :'( Will get that done over the next couple of days as these girls need rehoused!!! So, got a cloner at the start of the year...was planning on clone a spare wedding cake I had but that sort of went to pot and life got in the way and that didn't happen. As I also got a hold of an Ultrasonic Mist Generator, I thought I'd give this "Fogponics" Germination thing a go!!! Seeing as @Sweet_Seeds donated a few Magical Beans to my cause, I thought I'd give their genetics a whirl. The Red Hot cookies looked too cool to pass up on!!! So, got the beans popped on the 12th of July and by the Thursday, they were showing their wee heads. One though was also showing its wee tail - I hadn't buried it enough and it popped itself out of the Jiffy Coir plug I started them in. I did get it reburied and it has started growing but you can see its the runt in the pic...intend on keeping this one as a cloner (And will give the cloning a fair whack this time!!!). Since I was worried that the one that popped the soil was going to be impacted, I dropped a 3rd bean and true to form, it was out of the root riot in 4 days also. Got them into the 'fogponics' machine and let them rip (Under 2x11W T5 Sunblaster 6400/k's and a Amazon Special LED light for extra Spectrum) and they seem to be coming on grand. Noticed some yellow spots on the leaves and in 2 minds if it was: A. calcium (As starter plugs are Coir and I didn't put calmag in the plug hydration mix - Jiffy Original plugs are supposed to be buffered for this!!!); B. if I should have broken and washed them out of the Coir and put them into straight Hydroton (The fog could have been saturating the Coir and choking the internal roots a bit) or C. if its just the abusive heat we've been having here (In a country where A/C is basically unheard off as heat doesn't exist outside!!! 😋). Roots are ripping out of the net pots now so they're about as ready for transplant as can be...just wanna give a day or 2 more to see if the heat here settles as I can't adequately cool the area they're going too - but then again, under LED so heat may be good as it doesn't heat the leaf surface up as much! Plus I have a couple of plants to trim...still hanging in their humidor tent when is needed again for growing! Think this will also be the retirement party for the Wilma. Going to build an Undercurrent Fallponics system when this run is done (Wont have time to get it setup before these girls need forever homes!!!). Have the crates bought and a bit of research done on how to DIY a build so hopefully this turns out to be a decent run. Also have a few people with building experience on hand to give advice. Since last grow: Lights have been upgraded to a Geekbeast 630W Pro LED (3500K Spectrum - UV 385nm and Far Red 730nm built in [won't use the 730's as they can't be run independent of the Main Lights...be wary of this if you buy one off Alibaba for the 730's built in!!!] - Will run the 385UV's though throughout the grow for more blue...will run then 3 hours after lights on to until 3hours before lights off). Also procured an InvisibleSun LED 730nm Flower Initiator (Will use this for EOD Far Red treatment to try a 13/11 flower cycle) and a Migro UVB310 fixture - For the Trikes!!! 😝. Have a Haliea 300A winging its way to me as we speak. Have some Non-Stick Micro-tips flying in from the Grand old US of A a will to get a better, more consistent yield.
