Both beauties are now really taking off! Its Amazing! The weather is great, couldnt be better! Lots of sun...good water! The plants are happy. Unfortunatly, i m travelling since 10 days already and will only come back next week. Luckily I have a good friend taking care/ watering/ of the plants while i m gone. But i can see, i really need to build a structure around to open the plant a lil bit more and also do some defoliation for more air flow. I will do that next week, as soon as I m back home. I m super excited!

All the plants will be in the generative 3 phase of flower this week. I've updated the nutrients section for the week to show what the are being fed. I'm still feeding 3 gallons per plant daily. The number 3 plant is a few days behind the other two so it will get the Generative 2 feed, in the nutrients section for week 12, a few days this week. The two short plants have slowed their feeding way down on day 3 this week. The organic nutrients have a tendency to build up in the soil. Day 3 the two short plants got tap water. I'll wait til some of the leaves lighten up before I feed again. Day 4 the two short plants got fed. They didn't seem to be hurting for nutes but the leaves appeared to be losing color and the buds are still filling out. I had been feeding everyday until day 3. Day 5 and 6 the short plants got tap water and the tall one got the nutrients formula. Day 7 this week, the tallest and one of the short plants were fed the listed nutrient formula. There was no change in height this week. The tallest is 87.5 inches the two shorter ones 62 inches. I believe the two shorter plants will enter generative phase four/ripening next week. They are getting super frosty.

Well plant has really recovered from my PH accident. Thank God! I was able to give her some more LST. 1 to 2 weeks more of veg and she will be moved to the flower tent.

Something tried to nibble on Plant B, however there are no signs of pests and no further damage anywhere else (I have 6 other plants in the garden too). Plant A has already begun to develop stipules on its first set of true leaves too! Had their first feed on day 14 (2ml Fish Mix + 0.1ml Mono-silicic Acid), and were fed again on day 16 (2ml Fish Mix, 2ml Bio-Grow, 2ml Bio-Bloom, 0.1ml Mono-Silicic Acid).

Week 7 🌴🌴🌴🌴 Lst has helped to keep our plants nice and compact we gonna try and fill up the tent space as much as possible for 4 plants. We in a 3x3 atm. But I may tf them into the 4x4 very soon. Got some yellow tips and paleness on a few leaves. Ph may need looking at or lowering my nute feed. Il do a flush before flowering Roll on next week 💪😎👍

Not much crystal on her as yet but the pixies are sprinkling, I’m guesstimating around 9-10 weeks of flower needed.

Day 172 21/10/24 Monday I had 1.5 Litres of feed left, and she was top dry this morning so she finished that off today. Picture update 😎💚 I'll get one later with lights off 🙌 Day 174 23/10/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Finally update pictures and videos 📸 💚 She is developing awsome colours, and buds are now starting to stack weight 💪🙌 Day 177 26/10/24 Saturday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today, noticed a few tips burning. She is stacking !! This week she has developed a really floral aroma is sweet and tantalising like a perfume almost. She is glistening with trichomes, and buds are taking the dark 🌑 colour with purple/pink calyx tips. Super duper sticky!!

No final dessa semana elas entraram em pré flora. Fiz as amarras LST.

🍒 Lemon Cherry Gelato — Week 10 (Week 6 Flower) 12/12 from seed | No veg | Full expression phase ⸻ 🔁 Quick Recap — From Seed to Structure This run followed the same philosophy: straight 12/12 from seed, minimal interference, maximum observation. From early on, these girls showed vigor, tight internodes, aggressive lateral growth, and a natural tendency to bush out heavily while still pushing vertical dominance. What we built over the weeks: • A dense, multi-layered canopy • Strong branching capable of supporting weight • Healthy root zone driving consistent uptake And now, in week 6 flower, everything is being converted into mass, resin, and expression. ⸻ 🌿 Defoliation Session — Opening the Beast This week was a big moment. You brought them into the studio and made a bold call: deep defoliation (fan leaves with stems removed) Leaving: • Bud sites fully exposed • New growth intact • Air channels opened through the entire plant This was not just aesthetic, it was functional: • Improved airflow through a very dense structure • Light penetration reaching lower and inner bud sites • Reduced humidity pockets inside the canopy With plants this bushy, this move shifts the system from crowded to optimized. They are now set up to focus energy directly into flowers. ⸻ 🌸 Calyxes & White Hairs — Flower Construction Mode Now we are seeing real flower formation. Calyxes are the core of the bud, each one a potential resin-packed structure. At this stage: • They are stacking tightly along the branches • Forming early bud density • Beginning to swell, but not yet at peak size White hairs (pistils) are everywhere, and that is exactly what we want. They signal: • Active reproductive phase • Continuous flower site expansion • Ongoing energy push into bud production Bright, fresh pistils means the plant is still building, still reaching, still producing. ⸻ ✨ Trichomes — Resin Factories Switching On This is where Lemon Cherry Gelato starts showing personality. We are now seeing: • Frost spreading across sugar leaves • Resin glands forming on calyx surfaces • Stickiness increasing day by day Functionally, trichomes are: • Protection from UV, pests, and environment • Chemical factories for cannabinoids and terpenes Right now they are mostly clear to early cloudy, meaning: • Terpene profile is starting to develop • Potency is rising, but not fully matured This is the production phase, not the ripening phase. ⸻ Nutrition — Driving Heavy Output These girls are feeding like monsters and your numbers show it. EC: 2.9 High, but clearly being handled without stress. Your stack: • Terra Bloom providing the PK backbone for flower development • Green Sensation enhancing density and metabolic efficiency • Sugar Royal supporting terpene expression and carbon flow • CalMag Pro maintaining structural integrity and transport under high demand • Power Buds boosting flower site activation and early stacking At this stage it is not about adding more, it is about delivering consistently. ⸻ ⚖️ pH Control — Unlocking the Feed With EC at 2.9, pH becomes even more critical. • pH around 6.5 is the sweet spot for soil bloom uptake • Lemon Kick helps bring the solution down naturally • pH Plus allows fine adjustments when needed This ensures nutrients are not just present, but available. High EC without correct pH means locked potential, and you are avoiding that perfectly. ⸻ 🌡️💧 Environment — Stable but Alive • Around 26°C • Around 60 percent RH • Strong, consistent light across the canopy Now the key detail is the leaf to air relationship, what you called leaf DPD. With dense plants, high transpiration, and external humidity support, you had a naturally balanced exchange between leaf surface and air. After defoliation: • Transpiration becomes more efficient • Microclimates are reduced • Gas exchange improves This supports stronger nutrient flow and better resin production. ⸻ 💧 Water & Environment Synergy • Water temperature at 18°C supports high oxygen availability and strong root metabolism • Outside conditions around 10°C and 84 percent humidity That external humidity is quietly helping stabilize your internal environment, making it easier to maintain balance without stressing the plants. Working with the environment, not against it. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect — Week 7 Flower Expect: • Noticeable bud thickening as calyx swelling begins • Pistils still active but clustering more densely • Trichomes moving further into cloudy • Terpenes becoming louder and more complex • Plants redirecting energy fully into flower mass Do not expect yet: • Final swelling • Significant amber trichomes • Heavy fade You are transitioning from build into early maturation, but not there yet. ⸻ 🤝 Shoutouts — From Grower to Growers Big love to: • The GrowDiaries platform for giving all of us a space to share • The community of growers exchanging knowledge and experience • The OG followers who have been here since day one • The new ones joining the journey • The supporters, the silent watchers, the loud ones, the skeptics, everyone has a place here And always: • The genetics behind this Lemon Cherry Gelato expression • The sponsors and partners supporting the process • The tools, lights, and environment making this possible ⸻ These girls are not just growing, they are performing. Week 6 flower is heavy, alive, and full of intention. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.
