Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. This is my second Big Bud grow but my first outdoor grow. The buds aren't as dense and the indoor with my CO2 bag. The bud is still very potent though.

Welcome to week 10 of my grow diary. As I mentioned last week, I am now letting the plant grow as it wishes. It has put on a good amount of leaves. The stem is getting thicker and thicker. I like the structure very much and I hope the plant will develop beautiful massive buds in the future. The flowering phase should start in the next few weeks. The weather can stay like this. It only rained on one day. See you next week ✌️

I was out of town last week, not being able to update. During my vacation i left the garden in my sister's hands and the ladies got overfed because of a miscommunication. The girls have been flushed and will be flushed again tomorrow. followed by some waterings and will be harvesting around march 10 as long as the girls have enough amber thricomes. Aiming for 20 to 30% amber as i need my girls to help me sleep well. Shes cannibalizing herself allot through the last week and been picking of leaves that allow me to pull them off without too much force. Im finally getting ready for harvest

Beginning of week 11 Flushing her this week just pure tap water again to help get rid of the last of the remaining nutrients and salt build up that may be present. Checked the trichomes and they are very nearly ready, mostly cloudy with a few bits of amber here and there. Colas are quite dense and the biggest is at 16cm circumference. The leaves are literally falling off daily. A sure sign she’s maturing. Throughout this grow I been worried about high ppm run offs due to nutrient lock out, heat stress and this lady hulkberry has still managed to produced lovely looking buds. This strain I want to grow in my green house in the summer I reckon she’ll do great in there. I will definitely get this strain again. Nice one RQS. I can’t wait to chop her...she smells mouth watering like a fruity berry scent with that undeniable hint of diesel. I can’t wait to taste her.

This week i reduced the light to 75% to lower the temperatures. Also not as much watering as before. smells like Rubber + Gas + Gelato (Vanilla) Dense Buds and gonna be a good yielder. Light hits the plant with around 750 PPFD in the last week

Hi guys, this week has been great for plant growth..they are 85cm tall and I think they will grow a little longer. You can see the future buds that will be covered with flowers. From this growth I am learning that the FIM technique is better because the buds will all be at the same height and look much more (as you can see in plant number 4). Pistils begin to appear and in the next week I hope to see more pistils. Stay Tuned 🦍

Coming back strong.. flipped the light schedule on 8/6 and changed the formula in the RES for transition. Plucked some big fans off that were blocking lowers. Will be stripping all fans in two days, and a full strip 19 days after. Going in tonight and cutting some lower BS off so it can focus it's energy elsewhere. I should have vegged longer so I can reach that 1/2lb goal. The tent is nowhere near full, so I doubt I'll hit it this time. Will be saving a cut from this pheno to run again in the future. -Flower day 2 she's looking real happy this morning. has been drinking quite a bit and eating as well. was on a 2-2-2 formula, now on a 2-2-3 as of this mornings top off. the main stem is nearly an inch in diameter and growing holy fuck. will be stripping the big fans off tomorrow, and trimming some lower shit off. will have before/after pics F Day6 just noticed my nutrients changed from GHE to something else?? TF? General hydroponics flora series not even listed anymore? Ah well.. RES clean/change today. Prob shoulda stripped more fans the other day, but shit happens and we learn from it right??

Man, what a crazy week. If you go back to week 6 you’ll start to see signs of the claw on the leaves. I thought it was a severe nute deficiency but I knew I was feeding her GHE correctly. This is my 2nd run with this particular strain so I could rule out several factors. She’s been fed with a nice blend of food that helped a ton, but she still seemed sick. It wasn’t heat stress, although I’ll be watching the RH levels now that she’s been flipped to flowering. I noticed a couple things I thought were nutrient deficiencies but after further research on Growweedeasy.com, Nebula had my answer! You’ll see in the 1st pic her roots were so bound up I was suffocating her 😢 The first tip that got me thinking: I’d water her and 2 days later she was bone dry. The PH water levels were a bit off in the drain off but nothing crazy. I’m sooo glad I found this when I did as I just flipped her into flower. Growweedeasy.com to the rescue. It amazing content! These grew really well stacked weight evenly, and flushed like a champ. Throw back to the first indoor scrog.

removed a few leaves to give each a little more space. the soil is a mixture of already "used and fresh earth", as well as a little perlite and lava rock and plenty of smelly pre-mix from biobizz.lol let's see how four of them get along in one pot.lol * tools for irrigation.lol: the sliced detergent bottle is demanding as a tool for hand watering. costly and time-consuming, but since you can adjust the water flow speed, every centimeter of soil really gets damp.lol and you can use it on all sizes of pots. (the plant in the last picture is another plant, fastBuds gorilla cookies, meanwhile, in my opinion my favorit.lol )

This week went really well ! Today we are at day 79 from seed an looking beautiful! One Forbiddin Runtz got chopped an hung to dry out an the rest are still flushing out through the rest of this week! Very nice looking fades coming along on the fan leafs from purple to green , so beautiful ! So happy with these genetics from @fastbuds_genetics! Super sticky an smell is so amazing, room full of purple punch’s an Forbiddin Runtz the smell you can’t beat, so many berries!!! Well stay tuned for next week! Cheers y’all

Decided to take these down after a 10 day flush looked nice and ready didnt do a harvest yet because im waiting till its ready to give a harvest report on took her out of the net she was a bit floppy as the net was supporting her she stunk to high heavens and was really sticky got some nice finger hash and will be using the trim to make bubble hash .trichomes were id say 60%milky 40%amber just about right shes not a huge coala plant shes a more small high quality yielder has some nice colours coming through on edges purpley brownish tinges didn't take a wet weight as the whole thing is hung.put some pics up of the difference between fabric pots and plastic pots and the difference in the end with the fabric u can see there is no root circulation and with the plastic they are nearly root bound .Had a great time growing along with you guys here at growdiaries cant wait to taste and do a harvest report for you guys thanks for reading happy growing

Indoors flowering nicely, brown hairs starting to show. Outdoors still one of the Ultimate still hasn't started to flower. I'm starting to wonder if it's not an auto at all. The gelato is forming nicely, with a little visitor a bee. The other ultimate is also flowering nicely. Day 75, due to hothouse damage the three outdoor plants are now indoors
