Very fun strain to grow. Easy to train and love to get big. We had 2 different expressions on the plants and both where very pleasing. Both plants grew vigorously and provided me with just over 3/4 pound of dry medicine!

Hello Diary! The third week of vegetation and Green Gelato enters the pre-flowering phase 💪. It can already be seen that she lags far behind her Hulkberry roommates in terms of height, so I will have to lift her closer to the light soon😬. Due to the high summer temperatures, the temperature in the box is also high😓. As I mentioned earlier, my small farm is located in a small room in the kitchen so it’s hard for me to keep the heat out of the space. But given the LED light, great MIGRO, that doesn’t produce too much heat, everything is still within acceptable limits😀. Humidity is also good, given the third (last) week of vegetation and ranges around 55-60%. The distance between the branches is also significantly smaller than in the Hulkberries, so the branches are much denser and with much more leaves. Green Gelato develops more in width than in height. Due to the higher temperature, she didn't drink as much water as I expected. I don’t have some default watering schedule, I give them water when I see the pot is lighter and the surface is dry. All in all I am very pleased with how it is progressing, the plant looks satisfied and healthy. I still add Cal / Mag preventively at each watering, 1.5 ml / L. Also in the third week of vegetation she showed her gender. 06/07/2020. Day 18. Watering. I prepare 7-8 liters of water, I think this is the optimal amount for watering all three plants in the box. I added BioBizz as scheduled for the last week of vegetation, Bio-Heaven, Fish-Mix and Acti-Vera 2ml / L each. P. H. I regulate with Plagron, Lemon Kick. 09/07/2020. Day 21. Photographing and measuring plant height. After taking regular photos in the box, I take a few more photos on a black background. Vegetation is over, starting tomorrow I will change the light regime to 20 hours of light and 4 hours of darkness. Given the temperatures, I will put it dark in the middle of the day when the outside temperature is also the highest, I hope that in this way I will prevent the temperature from rising to an undesirable height. Great strain for beginners, easy to grow don't require too much attention or special techniques . She will grow fast, gorgeous and smell very very strong, I didn't think I was going to be able to harvest more than an ounce (because this is my first time) but hey, I'm very happy with my 41G! The buds were skinny but dense in flavour, I wonder why the buds didn't get fat, its because of my LED panels, or genetics? Overall I recommend this strain for first time growers!

Alright, now all the girls are in flowering stage and they are doing quite well. Would like to mention again very strong genetics of gorilla,cookies and zkittlez. Wow, they are really showing incredible growth and all the plants are healthy and even has any yellow leaves. They are very resistant to warm temperature ( 28-29 ). I started using the connoiseur bloom AB and bud candy, and planning to add some of Tarantula/Piranha/Voodo Juice on the 5-6 week and also the Bud Ignitor ( all - Advanced Nutrients). Will see how it works, maybe i will use different combo's for different flowers to analyze which nutrient is better to combine. Two of 6 Dark Devil's branches and leaves started to get covered by purple color,looking quite unusual. The Northern Lights are still a mystery for me. Different height, different growth pace, different amount of branches with buds. I don't have that kind of issues with other 4 strains, all of them ( gorilla,cookies,dark devil,zkittlez) are exactly THE SAME height, showing the same growth pace and all of them are strong and healthy. Also among 15 seeds of NL i got only 11 germinated properly :( bad statistics. Hope Gorilla and Cookies will work for.

New week. Started feeding 2days ago. 2part instead of 3. Managing till i get the last part in. Roughly 2weeks. Currently using. micro and bloom from advanced nutrients. Currently waiting for roots to show under the rockwool then i can move it into the 5gallon bucket.

The first week of flowering went well, no defects or anything. I put up a second trellis with small compartments. And a dehumidifier to keep the humidity between 50% and 60% I have also started the flowering nutrition , including the New 'powerbuds' from plagron. Does anyone happen to have any experience with that? Now it is waiting for the plant to stop stretching. Around day 20 I will defoliate the plants one more time

Finally cooled down this week, maybe 5mm of rain, not much. Did some light defoliating, lollipoping, really doesn't need too much this early, especially with the height the Hugel gives me, keeps the bottom nice and clean with great light penetration. 2 hours of drip irrigation, and weekly foliar spray of Neem, Kelp, Aloe, Epsom is all she's had. Still top dressing Gaia Green mix every 3 weeks, but I really doubt she even needs it. I gather it might make a bigger difference during flower but we'll see. Haven't fimmed or topped in 3 weeks, may just leave it, shape looks great to me. Will defoliate harder closer to flower or if it gets wet and rainy, but weather looks great. The trunk is getting HUGE, going to need a chainsaw to take this bad girl down come Oct!

So week 10 starting No 1 (Titan F1)...only synthetic grow...started 2 weeks later in separate tent due to some probs...now see week 7 currently feeding eith the complete hesi starter pack and since one week additionally with Plagron sugar royal, green sensation and power buds No 2 (Cookies gelato) in living soil from florganics...until week 8 only feeded with water....since week 9 additionaly with the three Plagron products as menioned af No1 No 3 (Titan F1) also pure living soil plus water experiment but due to weakness also added the same three Plagron products since middle of week 8 No 4 (Cookies gelato) organic soil light mix from biobizz plus 30% coco...feeded with the biobizz nutrients series...nothing else Tent with No 2, No 3 and No 4 is small...60 x 60 cm ( 2x2)...my goal is 200 gram dry Tent with No 1 is only 40 x 40 cm...here I have expectation 50 - 100 gram dry...let see

I wanted to title this weeks grow "How Big Are Your Balls? (root balls that is, lol)". I've been wanting to post pictures and video of the root balls for a while now, so today's the day! The temperature has been dropping here, so the plants are getting much less heat stress. In a couple of weeks the temperature should be down into the 60's and 70's during the day and all will be good.

So we're in week 3 veg , they've mostly outgrown their mutated leaves now and looking strong.

Sie ist jetzt geerntet. Da ich z.Zt. sehr eine niedrige RLF habe, hab ich die Pflanze zum trocknen im Stück aufgehangen und nur noch ein paar größere Blätter entfernt. Den polyploiden Ast hab ich gestern schon raus genommen und nass getrimmt, da er dicht gewachsen war und ich es jetzt nicht auch noch riskieren wollte, das da etwas schimmelt. Sie hängt jetzt bei 20°C und etwa 40% RLF, was nach neuesten Erkenntnissen sicherer und besser als 16/60 ist.

Saddest week by far! 😞 Feeling like a bad dad smh should’ve got her a new home sooner than later. Don’t go for the deal in the end all the time, stick with what you know! “This is the lesson I learned this week.” Not many pics this week due to my disappointment in myself. She got way to close to LEDs and in some spots she was touching the diodes. 🤦‍♂️🏿 Burnt spots. Will be giving her a lot of TLC from hear on out. Will she bounce back?!?! 9/10: Bigger tent finally arrived! Tried ordering from Growbuds.com the Spider Farmer Grow Tent 2x4, paid for 2 day shipping. Wasted a week waiting for it before merchant advised the item would not be shipped til September 17th and I would’ve had to wait 4-5 business days for delivery. SMH. Thank goodness for Amazon Prime! Canceled my order immediately and ordered from Amazon. NEW TENT: Spider Farmer Grow Tent 2x4, Indoor Plant Growing Tents 55"x28"x80"
