I believe #2 is ready to pull now. Gonna do that on Monday. #1 still has a while to go but is flowering faster than the true photoperiod plants. Maybe auto genetics speeds it up even though I had to flip to 12-12. Smells sweet and is very sticky to the touch. Any advice for keeping its smell during drying and curing? Last few have always lost their smell before it's ready :(

There isn't much more to say about this fantastic strain. Hardy, easy to clone, quick to flower and absolutely delicious in every respect. It resists well to high temperatures, "accidental" over fertilization, and recovers soon after a period of drought. Easy and fast.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2203 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! It's been a month since these pretty ladies popped out of the ground and they're both looking perfect and have pistils popping out everywhere! Their fabric pots were still heavy when lifted, and they looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check them tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, they have two new shoots that are emerging and looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! The #1 is now at 7" tall and the #2 a bit taller at 8". 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since they were planted in their amended medium and it's time to give their microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide them with all the macro and micro nutrients they need so, yesterday they got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Yesterday I watered them from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- They have both been doing really well getting watered every other day and yesterday they received 0.5g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. They're both doing fantastic but were really beginning to get choked up with growth so I went in and selectively removed a few shade leaves from both to get some light penetration down into their canopies to give that lower growth some much needed light. While I was doing that I also did a little more LST on both to also increase light penetration. 6/17 - Watered today. 5 days since last watering. Made sure to add water slowly to the cups, as the medium I'm using is a coco/peat based medium, and I realize that peat becomes hydrophobic when it dries out, and the top was close to that. By watering pretty slow, it allows more of it to be absorbed vs just running through. Both Chinook Haze plants have 3 nodes already, and are starting their 4th. 6/18 - I watered yesterday, then life hit, and the plants were without lights for just over 24 hours. Looks like the newer area started to yellow a bit, which I assume will green again within a day or two now that the lights are back on. 6/19 - Plants are looking good to me. There seems to be a lot less vein swelling, so it appears the chance of overwatering that looked like it was coming on a week ago is subsiding. Got to let them grow some more before I start to chop them up in an attempt to mainline. 6/21 - Plants will be watered tomorrow. Other than that, it is just slowly moving along, and I am considering going to 1g pots soon. I believe I am going to try to go from solo cup to 1g to 5g this time, and I think that by doing so, I might not need to fertilize at all during veg at least. I figure if I can get 3-4 weeks out of the solo cup, then similar out of a 1g, by the time I get to 5g, I will be close to 8-12 weeks, and close to flipping time. I have dimmed the lights a bit, and raised them close to 33" above the 2 Chinook Haze plants in hope to induce a little stretch between nodes, but they still seem to be growing fairly compact. 6/22 - Watered the plants today. Could have probably waited another day, but I figure 5 days between watering was enough, and the cups did feel pretty light.

They all have pollen so I may have crossed pollinate it successfully. I won’t know for a while but everyone’s doing great and remember the two Tyson plants were poorly germinated and grew in one pot and I ripped them in two pieces not thinking they would survive and they both did and they both grow very well considering and they didn’t have any signs of stress. I can’t even describe really what it is. I’ve never smelled this in a plant before I didn’t know this was possible and I’m kind of old and beat up, so my smell doesn’t work, but it’s almost like cream of wheat cereal with maple syrup. Some old autos I’ve been working on crossing for awhile. Making the switch back to coco so just doing a small LST test run and a cheap drip emitter system. Did the old paper towel method in a Tupperware container placed onto a heating pad with 100% sprouted. Started on a very diluted feed. Letting them get anchored and will switch to bottom feeding for my first few feeds to get the roots chasing the moisture to build a solid root system early, then back to the top drip system.
