Hello Diary. It ended the second week of flowering on my little Farm. Sherbet Queen has become the lowest plant on the Farm. Both of her roommates, Mimosa, outgrew her. But honestly, Sherbet Queen looks the most beautiful of all three plants. The plant has received its final form and now it remains to develop flowers that are already covered with trichomes which gives them the snowy appearance. The branches are not elongated as in Mimosas so the flowers nicely cover the branches, especially the main cola. We’ll see how the flowers continue to form and fill in, but for now, all is well, this time I don’t have any problems on the farm. Watering is now every two days, I added CalMg preventively twice and added one Easy Bloom Booster tablet. Conditions at the "Farm" are not ideal, the temperature is around 29 degrees which is expected given the summer months. Here’s what it looked like last week. 14/06/2021 - Day 30. Watering. I always prepare about 8 liters of water, I regulated p.H. at 6.5, added 1.5 ml / lit CalMg and one Easy Bloom Booster tablet. With that, I watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 27.6 degrees and 40% humidity. 16/06/2021 - Day 32. Watering. I lowered the p.H to 6.2 and added 1.5 ml / lit CalMg. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 50% humidity. 18/06/2021 - Day 34. Watering. This time I didn't add any extras, I just lowered the p.H to 6.4. So we're into week 4 of flower and she's really starting to gather pace now. She really healthy and putting out pistils all over the place. I'm just sitting back and letting her do her thing at this point.

UPDATE AFTER A LONG TIME, i'll post more often. I only recovered a few videos from last couple years to share. Mango is dense, but doesn't give out much trichome as I expected. So, I took a risk and poke a hole in the stem to gave a lot of stress to the plant, so the plant gave out a lot of trichomes and the bud becomes a bit bigger.

Week 9 commence flushing. This lady is looking great, super frosty, sticky and got a sweet aroma. Removed some dying leaves and now we wait for chop in about 6-7 days.

Day 43 - First day of week 7 today and she looks really good just not sure if she’s really starting to flower yet. I’m hoping this is just typical of the GC strain. Day 44 - No major changes, she’s growing and I’m loving the looks of her. Will continue uploading daily pictures. Day 45 - She’s looking really good and budding more and more each day. Gave her straight pH’d water today and tomorrow and will give her another feeding on Saturday. She’s drinking almost a gallon of water a day. Day 46 - Things are looking good with this girl. Bud sites are growing daily and this thing is a beauty. Gave her another feeding of just pH’d water and will “feed” her tomorrow. Day 47 - ALL is looking good and she’s looking purdy. Gave her a feeding with the foxfarm nutes today. Did a true measurement to the biggest branch and she’s at 25.5”. Will continue to measure each day to see how much she’s growing in a 24 hour period. Day 48 - Looking gorgeous and still stretching. Grew another two inches and is sitting at 27.5” right now. She’s really starting to fill in now and looking forward to the next few weeks. Day 49 - The way thing thing is growing, she’s gonna be a beast. Gave her straight pH’d water tonight and will give her a feeding tomorrow. Looks like she finally stopped stretching, sitting at 27.5” still so hopefully she’ll start putting on the weight.

The hairs have really started to stretch out. As this is a strain ive grown, i expect to see some good results. We will see. We are about 2 weeks from completing this grow.

She is showing some unhappy leaves due to heat stress, but she looks fine anyway. The buds are developing beautifully and we have some nice long colas. I´ve added some support to help the branches keep the heavy buds up.

Week 8 for Gelato 41, This girl has been topped yet again... shes now got 16 tops 😎, also gave her a nice strip on the lowers to show some stretch to the tops. Really looking forward to putting her in her 250L pot outside which will be coming up in the next 3 days or so as she's getting a little too wide to be in my indoor tent😂 Been giving her 4/5 hours of sun to get her ready for those 33 degrees+ outside temp. She's also now being fed with FPJ every watering which ATM is probably every 3/4 days.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Once again love the monster bloom . This is actually at week 14 from germ so basically at the 3 month mark . Probably in a week or two I'll start my harvest I've learned a lot during this grow. Surprisingly lol. Having an irrigation system for different strains at the same time is not ideal on the same irrigation system. I believe some plants needed more shit when others needed less. Which should have been obvious to me but this is my second time using irrigation and first was all same strains. This grow has been challenging. But its still definitely a learning process. Not done yet. Current battle in rh. But I think I got it good
