Everyone says the plants smell amazing but I can't smell them! fml. They're supposed to smell like guava candy. Just gotta rest up more till my smell is back, honestly the worst thing about covid. Started flush this week, going to flush for 10 days including a 48 hour darkness period. The darkness period is when the buds can reproduce the trichome coating. It's normally used as sunscreen for light protection but much is burned off during intense day times. This is why it's best to harvest after a period of darkness.

Hello Diary. It has completed its sixth week of flowering, a total of 9 weeks since Watermelon sprouted. As can be seen in the photos, most of the leaves have turned yellow and do not look pretty. The consequences are probably over-feeding at some point, plus, the harvest is approaching and the leaves get a more yellowish color. As for the flowers, they look beautiful, have taken on a purple color and are covered with trichomes. The smell is intense. I would like to mention that over-feeding reflected a lot on Watermelon which was not the case with her roommates Purple Punch with whom she shares “Farm”. So I advise future growers to be more careful with adding nutrients. Watering is every three days, I regulate or lower the p.H of water to values ​​between 6.1 and 6.5. And I do that with every preparation of water for irrigation. I stopped adding any additives the previous week so they get clean water. Let’s take a look at the review of the week. 26/03/2021 - Day 59. Watering. p.H. water I regulated to 6.4 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 32% humidity. 29/03/2021 - Day 62. In general i am very satisfied considering the biggest problem i had which was the heat during all the growing period. I also had a power cut which stressed the plant very much to the point it stopped growing for a few days ( the most critical days 😡 😤 ) and developed 3 finger leaves. Despite the heat the buds are very frosty, they have a very strong smell like fruits and diesel and the density is decent. The buds dried for 9 days at 22 °C and 60% RH and now are placed at PP tapers with boveda envelops to cure. Smoke report at 2-3 weeks.

Total days above ground: 63 Total flower nights: 24 Just beyond 3 weeks into flower and the plants are showing their potential. The Mountaintop Mint has made great strides but is still a lanky bitch. I had to HST every branch, and may need to bend a couple more down before vegetative growth abates. Not a fan of this growth pattern and still unhappy about 2 out of 9 seeds providing a viable outcome. The bright side is that yield should be fine given the plethora of bud sites. Despite being difficult to grow next to other plants, I feel much better about its prospective outcome than I did just 1 week ago. That whole "crazy shit can happen in flower" thing rings true, again. Overall the canopy has filled in nicely. I have a couple spots where light is wasted and I'll make some adjustments to the process to fix that for future grows. Now that I've settled on plant size and number of plants, improvements can be made each cycle until it's clockwork. I like the 12-cola vs 8 cola experiement. I've got a fairly long list of edits to make to various sections of my "bible," which means I liked the outcomes of most of my incremental adjustments. Continual, systematic improvement in action... One other incremental change on the docket but not yet realized will be dropping nutrient concnetration once vegetative growth ends. Exact timing will be based on what I see in the foliage. I see some minor tip curl and its a bit darker than I want. So, it may come sooner than later. This'll be something I tweak over the next few grow cycles until I'm happy with the late-flower health. I'll drop fertilizer concentration 10-15% on next refill and see how that plays out. It'll take a couple refills of reservoir to near 100% transition without draining it. If necessary, I'll drain and do a full refill for more pressing needs. A rez scrub before final stretch is coming, regardless. Side note: The impacts of VPD can be enormous. Last year (2025-2 diary) I had a humidifier wick get fouled and RH dropped while VPD spiked for more than a few days, thinking I could power through or that the canopy would soon provide more moisture. Nope, growth stalled in a significant way. By comparing day 34-42-49 of 2025-2 and day 38-42-49 of this diary, I can see a huge difference in growth at same point above ground. The consitency with which i do things makes it fairly certain it's the extende period with extremely high VPDs that caused the difference. Also, interesting that it mostly catches back up by completion of third week of flower. The size difference is nearly undone by this point, though 2025-2 took 4 days longer vege phase to get there. Even so, I still think this grow is more than 4 days ahead of 2025-2 (the difference in vegetative phae duration). Time will tell if the development is ahead of the pace in 2025-2 or whether it's simply mostly an offset due to a less efficient vege phase for 2025-2.

Apr 09: Things are chuggin along, i think light may have been a factor in the brown spots, seeing similar symptoms on one of the other plants but very very minor in comparison.... I think it was too little calmag, i may have locked them out mid veg by using high concentration of nutes without watering till runoff (i now know, that is a no-go), and light stress. i have had them under 850-1050 ppfd when flipped to flower... one of them is loving the light, one is big and bushy (had to defoliate later than i wanted), and one has good bud structure but pistils seem thin, and growth seems slower (the one with the brown polkadot party on its body) so thinking it may be stunted. either way, im seeing denser buds, and im learning the ropes, thats enough for me :) Apr 12: Last feed day... Trichomes look just about ready, will do 2 runoff waterings 48hrs apart, then 24-36 hr darkness... Will try to post trichome pics.... Super excited to see the improvements from this run vs last run...!

Welcome to the Week 9 update for the Sweet Seeds Cream Mandarine XL Auto’s. This was an eventful week of the grow as I finally gave up on the first two plants suffering with the majority of the powdery mildew. Instead of wiping a single spot off of a leaf it had progressed to wiping multiple spots off of the majority of leaves. It was becoming super time consuming just trying to keep up with not further contaminating the tent. So after fighting the good fight but realizing it was now a losing battle- I decided to harvest the two smallest plants. They were pulled from the tent right at the end of Week 9 and placed in my garage for 3-5 days before they were actually chopped and trimmed in Week 10. My garage is not heated and the temperatures have been around 0-5 degrees celsius so both plants had some time to “chill out" before harvest. Not only did they reek stronger than ever but also seemed to produce additional resin after being exposed to the cold for a few days. I chose not to weigh the wet trimmed bud as it hasn’t amounted to much but after drying for 7-10 days it’s working out to be approximately 1 mason jar of nuggets per plant. I will provide final weights and better pictures of the bud in my final harvest update. Nothing much has changed for the remaining two plants except for drinking a little less water and the humidity has slowly been decreasing as Canada moves into winter. 420 Fastbuds Week 8 Blackberry Auto Hello grow fam hope all had an amazing Thanksgiving. Weekly update for these blackberries. Wow oh wow are they progressing nicely. The smell and color they're producing is out of this world. Completely breathe taking when you open the tent and your eyes are just drawn to them. I'd say they'll be getting the chop in the next upcoming weeks from the looks. I'll start checking trichomes to try and get maybe a 70/30 amber to cloudy out of them. All in all Happy Growing.

Just keep watering as it drys. Supporting buds along the way that are getting too heavy. Smells like skunk and gas. Little fruit but not much. Trics still getting thick. Look forward to it finishing. Tricomes still cloudy. Little amber on sugar leaves but it's still going strong. Some leave fading finally to fall colors.
