12/17/23 - Day 41 - It flipped to flower today. I didn't document it via video because it's just like all the other videos. Except this change uses different level of the nutes for Flowering. Alot of the bud sites have tons of pistles on them. The plant itself is so round and bushy. The plants branches are very close together. There is a video up there of me using the software to change from veg. to flower. I'll update you tomorrow once the lights come on. Now I only get 12 hrs of light instead of 18. 12/18/23 - Day 42 - FLOWER POWER! Look at those flowers starting to form! It looks amazing!!!!! I think starting from a good seed is better than a clone. If this ends up better than the last grow..... it's already off to a better start. The leaves looks super healthy. 12/23/23 - Day 47 - What a WEEK! The whole family got sick and I was the lone ranger on the battlefield taking care of all the units! So posting had to take a back seat! I did manage to grab some pictures during those days. I posted them up top. This week is the first week of Flower, and its going great! As you can see in the pictures that the buds are starting to take off from the bushy part of the plant. I installed a second Scrogg net, the buds are already starting to launch upwards and I can tell they are going to need some support as they get bigger. The Leaf box has been taking great care of the nutes, humidity, temp, and lighting. There is only one thing that I have had to do manually. Toward the last day of the week, the day before the water change the PH seems to dip down to 5.5. It's not a bad thing to be there for a couple of hours, but it is the lowest range I would ever let PH go in a hydroponic (DWC) setup. I have been adding 2 cap fulls of PH+ to get the PH in check. To be honest, adding 2 caps full of PH+ once a week is NOTHING. I feel like it's the least I could do. The box is creating the perfect environment. It's the perfect Cannabis Oasis, I treat my girls to the finest of living before the end. :) Happy growing and I'll post again after the water change tomorrow! It's time to harvest the seedless plants. The pigeons were very disapointed that there were no fem seeds to be had in theses first plants. The seed mothers need another week to reach the 35 day from pollination mark. You can see seeds in a couple of the photos. They're already turning brown. The plants are very hard, full and frosty! They smell like sherbert, and they all look alike. I'm very pleased:) Time to get these cleaned up, chopped down, and hung up to dry!

Hi, the next week was without any problems. The girls are gaining weight nicely. The first one drinks 2.3 l, leaks 0.5. The second one drinks 1.7 l and leaks 0.5. The second one only gets Dragon force 4ml/l + a drop of calmag, I would like to fertilize this week and then flush for two weeks. The first one is about 2 weeks behind, she gets basic rotting + everything else except dragon force, but in a week or two I would like to start giving her only dragon force.

7/6 Plants looked great thos morning. I WATERED A GALLON to the 50 and split one between the two tens. Top of the bags are still moist amd they still have some heft. I'm hoping this will at least carry me 48hrs. These are BIG plants and the wind goes right through those bags and dries them out. I'd rather have that though than worry about overwatering. I noticed some minor deficiencies on a couple plants so it's time to start the nutes. Calcium I'd guess. Just a beginning stage but it's time. Next feeding they'll get some food too. I'll still monitor during the day to make sure they ront dry out. It's amazing how fast they come back after they dry out but it stresses them. EDIT: I WENT OVER AROUND 2OM AND IT WAS OVERCAST AND 83°. ALL THE PLANTS LOOKED GREAT AND ALL OF THEM WERE STILL SLIGHTLY NOIST EXCEPT THE 10TH PLANET. THEY ALL HAD SOME HEFT TO THEM TOO. THE SUN IS OUT BRIGHTER NOW BUT IT MAY RAIN TONIGHT AND CONSIDERING HOW GOOD THE PLANTS LOOKED I THINK IVE FOUND MY CORRECT WATERING RATIO. IM NOT GOIMG TO 9VET WATER IN THESE GROW BAGS WITH ALL THIS WIND. I NOTICED SOME FOUR LINED PLANT BUG MARKS ON ONE OF THE LITTLE PLANTS AND REMOVED A FEW LEAVES FROM THAT THIRSTY 10TH PLANET THAT COULD BE SEPTORIA. IM GOING TO TREAT IT BUT I HAVENT DECIDED WITH WHAT YET. I MEAN I NEED TO MAKE SURE ITS NOT JUST PESTS OR WATER SPLASHES FIRST TOO. I'VE BEEN PRETTY SANITARY THIS YEAR. IF I HAD A PLANT THAT DIDNT RESPOND TO TREATMENT AND IT WAS INDEED LEAF SEPTORIA I THINK ID RATHER SACRIFICE THE PLANT THAN RISK SPREADING IT. IM PROBABLY JUMPING THE GUN BUT I NEED TO BE READY IN CASE THAT'S THE CASE. IF NOT FOR LOCAL LAWS I WOULD THE PLANT ISOLATED. BUT IM TALKING I PULLED MAYBE FOUR LEAVES OUT OF THE LEAFIEST BUNCH AND INSPECTED EVERYTHING. 7/7 We got thunder storms last in the afternoon and last night. For at least 45 mins it rained harder than I've EVER seen it. Pure sheet rain. It turned over to heavy rain before moving out. The plan was to water everything this morning and start feeding. As I said in the video the soul was still moist amd the bags still had some heft. Not like I just watered them though. I stopped by a local dispo on my way home and talked with the best grower I personally know (thanks Junior) and his advice was the same as what I was planning. I planned on going around noon to check them. He said I could probably wait until like six and then when I do water give them like a 1 1/2 gallons to make up for that monsoon we had earlier. I showed him the video and explained how I have been watering. My intuition feels good about this. I may go check on them earlier but I don't think it's necessary. As usual I'll update as I go. EDIT: AS SUGGESTED (WELL I SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE) I WENT OVER TO FIND ALL NY PLANTS LOOKING GORGEOUS EXCEPT THE 10TH PLANET REVEG THAT WAS A "LITTLE" SAGGY. I LIFTED THEM AND FELT THE SOIL IN THE BAGS. I DECIDED ON WATERING AS PLANNED EVEN THOUGH IT MIGHT HAVE MADE IT UNTIL NORNING. THIS WAS MY WATERING DAY ANYWAY. HOWEVER I ONLY WATERED 1 GAL PER 20 1.5 FOR 30 AND .5 FOR 10. I THINK THAT WILL WORK OUT GREAT WITH THE UPCOMING COOLER TEMPS. IT WAS SO HOT. DIDNT HAVE TIME BUT SHIT IS LOOKING GOOD. 7/8 Finally that hot streak has broken. It's in the 70s and it rained a little last night. Had to use an iPhone and send it to me because my phone was dead. My plan worked out great and everything is looking fantastic. We may get some rain tonight but I'll be watching the forecast. I DO need to feed and may do that. I might wait until next week. I also need to figure out what to do about that four lined plant bug. The birds that perch on my cage do a good job getting pests. Knock on wood I haven't seen many. I killed one pillar and there's just that four lined plant bug. That's really the only damage. I'd Hate to spray my girls with a bunch of shit over ONE bug. We shall see and I'll keep this updated. 7/9 Phone was dead this morning. Went back over later and defoliated a little bit. On reveg ive found a few spots that look like it could be septoria. Could be splash up or a million other things too. The birds have been taking care of pillars. I've found two this season which were promptly killed. Everything looked good. We are in much cooler weather now. Still high 70s with at least 90%rh. Could have showers but I need to keep up with my watering. I kept with the increase and watered everything with 2 gallons. With the exception of the 50 and the two 10's the 50 I skipped and each 10 got 1 gallon. Now it's time for a shout out. I get my seeds from North atlantic seed company. They have a sister company @dirtybirdgenetics which produces amazing strains that flourish in Maine. N.A.S.C has always used me good but this will be my first dirty bird grow next year. None of this was necessary but it's greatly appreciated. The hand written note put a huge smile on my face.

Vegetation Day 37: We’ve officially entered the final week of veg! I’ve been away in Prague for 3 days, so this update is unfortunately a day later than usual. Sorry about that, guys! But here’s one important fact: “Happy wife, happy life.” 😂 During that time, the girls put on some nice biomass and pushed out plenty of potential new growth sites. That meant it was time for a bit of defoliation to get some light back into the inner canopy and reach as many bud sites as possible. From here on out, I’ll only be tucking down the upper tops to create an as even canopy as possible before flipping to flower. I deliberately decided to run this grow without a SCROG net… and instantly regretted that decision. Just check the picture. Got a little too ambitious and ended up fixing the damage with some tape. You live and learn! 🤦‍♂️ _______________________________________________________ Vegetation Day 40: We’ve left the plants undisturbed for the past 3 days. There was only one watering on Day 39 — you’ll find the details below. The pale new growth and leaf tips are completely typical of fresh growth. When plants develop new leaves rapidly under good lighting, chlorophyll synthesis can lag slightly behind during the first few days. Almost all LST clips were removed today. The damaged spot from Day 37 seems to be healing well. The branch looks just as healthy as the others. The substrate pH needs to come up a bit now. The acidic buffer in the Light-Mix is slowly wearing off, so we’re raising the watering pH to 6.5 to get the substrate ready for flowering. The runoff readings below are telling us exactly that. 💧 At the next watering, we’ll also be introducing additional nutrients for the first time in over 40 days. 🌱 _______________________________________________________ Vegetation Day 42: The last day of veg is here! Tomorrow, it’s time to switch the lights to 12/12. 🌱 Quite a bit has happened since the last update. The plants have put on some serious growth and added quite a bit more biomass. this one was on a cold spot, and didn't grow large, but very easy to grow, nice compact bud, very light smell, can be grown indoor without filter if you grow a couple of 'm. wonderfull strain, i will try this one again in the coming year in a soilles setup

Hi Greenies, End of week 4 flowering. Still on track although been unable to replace C02 yet. Plants have been given PK all week on top of normal nuits. Day 28 - Full watering/feed to run-off 10%-20% at same strength as previous. (50% of maker recommended strength for coco use + cmx + root enhancer + kept extract organic additive) Day 31 - Decided lower lights by around 30cm 120cm to about 90cm. After about 8 hours the plants all suddenty wilted. They stay wilted through the night cycle as well, so I raised the lights back to where they were and they have bounced back, so I won't suddenly drop the lights by as much. If I do lower them it will be incremental. Day 32 - Bought a six fin 800w oil heater for the tent. Am going to place this under the oscillating fan and set it aiming to keep the tent around the 25-27c range. Hopefully this has the tent sorted for the rest of the grow. The humidity has been high lately due to the weather, so this might be about the only factor left to address, and I will look at getting a dehumidifier for the grow room if needed. Day 33 - Full watering to run-off 10%-20% at same strength as previous. (50% of maker recommended strength for coco use + cmx + root enhancer + kept extract organic additive) - Ordered humidity controller for extractor fan. - Ordered Temperature controller for Heater - Ordered IP Camera for remote monitoring Tent is now running fully sealed and using passive inlet and carbon filtered extraction to roof space. Plants are around 20-40cm high and the lights are 85cm above the canopy on full 480w. Day 33 - I have reduced the Light intensity from 480w to 420w. This seemed to really get a good response from the plants. I think as they've grown taller and the light intensity has quietly increased at the newly heightened canopy level the plants have been getting stressed. Day 34 - I've reduced then light intensity from 420w to 280w. I am new to the quantum boards and the concept of "too much light" so working out how much intensity, how much distance and so forth for the different stages of plants growth. I have a gut feeling 280w at 80cm might be a touch under-powered but I'll give it a full light-cycle or two to judge leaf growth and colour and make a call on whether or not to increase it or leave it as is. Day 35 - I found plants wilting during hthe night cycle without fan air circulation. So I've set the oscillating fan to run during night hours. Day 35 - I've turned up the heater a touch to bring the tent temp to around 26c. Infrared gun shows leaf temps to be around 24-25c which ideally I want to get to 27-29c - I'll aim for this metric once the other environmental factors are sorted (ventilation seems sorted so mainly just dialing in the light intensity). * I'm looking forward to setting up the heater on temperature controller, and putting the carbon filter ventilation on humidity control, and then mounting an IP camera in the tent. This should all be here in around 2 weeks. I'm looking forward to being able to view the temp/humidity and see the plants live without having to actually open the grow room. * The infrared temp gun is proving invaluable in testing leaf, coco and pot temperatures around the tent, which is giving a great view of how the heat from the heater/fan arrangement is being distributed - it shows a less than 1-2c degree variance across the tent which is just great. * Hopefully week 6 to come will be one with a lot less wilting incidents and the week that this tent achieves a somewhat final and stable environment optimised for plant growth and happiness. But so far every time I think I've got things perfected, another variable comes into play and I need to tweak something. Maybe by the end of this harvest I will have the whole process refined to a smoother less reactionary process.

This week I top all 8 Green Poison ( 4dwc and 4 coco ) clones. They look healthy and happy and few days later I already start to low stress training (LST) them.

Feb 11th Week 8 is off to a good start. - lite-cycle; 11.5 hrs on, 12.5 hrs off - reducing rapidstart / CaliMag - increasing molasses - Reducing Volume of water > 14L next feed. Only 4 feeds till flush if all goes well. Feb 13th - USB scope shows that there is still a lot of development to come. Trichomes still showing clear in many areas. - 3 areas were checked & it’s 50/50 with clear / cloudy trichomes. Week 8 of Flower from a proposed 11-13 -no food tonight, soil still damp 15th - Lite cycle down to 11 hrs on, 13 off Feb 16th - reduced UVB time by an hour. Using 5 in total ( 2x 2.5 hrs ) - down to 3 feeds; before flush. Trichomes will be checked 1st - raised light a bit ~ 19” from closest Bud - planning Flush -targeting 40% RH 18th - finishing week 8 of Flower with a proactive move on shortening the lite-cycle again; 10 On - 14 Off. Goal is to promote Resin production, Bud-filling and hopefully bring the show to a tidy finish, on-time. - Took a few pictures last nite, posting later today - Calyxes really seem to be swelling and filling in
