En su 12° Semana llegamos a su fin. Hemos realizado un lavado de raices para dejar reposar la planta, eliminar todos los nutrientes que ya no aportarán mucho y con ello mejoraremos mucho el sabor de la hierba final. Por esta semana no creo que actualice nada a no ser que haya algún problema pero en principio solo repasará para la semana que viene cortarla.

Actualizamos familia, con la quinta semana de crecimiento de estas Gelato 41 de Seedstockers. Como se aprecia bien hay cambios, a mayores practicar LST, tienen un color bien verde y se ve que están sanas, las plantas están en macetas de 7 Litros definitivamente, con tierra top crop. Como los anteriores cultivos tuve visitantes (trips) estoy rociando aceite de neem y jabón potásico 1 vez a la semana. El riego que aplicamos son 400ml de agua cada 48 horas y el ph se controla en 6.5, la temperatura la tenemos entre 22/25 grados y la humedad ronda el 60% gracias al humidificador. Mainlining was too stressful on these plants. Changed my mind to just lst and small topping. Size and color of each plant are varying making it difficult to choose what to feed. Just started adding gro nutrients. Some look like they need more and others are getting too much N. Not particularly impressed with this veg at day 43, but i knew it wouldn't be the easiest grow considering the strain. Still excited for flower and to smoke it at the end of this summer.

Week 9 marks a turning point for the grow. The main plants are deep into flower now, with dense buds that glisten under the HPS light. Their smell is intoxicating, filling the room with the rich, sweet aroma that hints at the potency to come. Even the late bloomer has stepped up its game. While it’s still behind the others, it’s finally entering full flower, its smaller buds beginning to form. It’s got a unique charm, and I can’t help but root for it—sometimes the underdog ends up stealing the show. The grow room feels like it’s nearing its peak. The plants are massive now, with thick branches bending under the weight of their buds. Every day brings new changes, and I can see the finish line getting closer. The hard work is paying off, and I can’t wait to see how these beauties turn out in the final weeks.

Only 1 feeding this week no watering, I will water orange today pot drying out quicker than banana. I've done some light defoiliation on lower branches of both plants.

Another successful harvest have been made and I can surely tell I'm pretty amazed for how this strain showed off its potential! A downside is that yield will not be big, but overall I'm definitely satisfied. After 48 hours in the dark, I chopped her and here we are now, end of week 9, at the 2nd day of drying in a paper box, my estimation is other 5 full days before starting the curing period. I'll update next week with the harvest and I'll add some pics of the main buds fully dried. Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. ❄️❄️❄️ End of Week 5 - Buds are getting fatter and frosting up. The Tent is smelling incredible Like sweet lemon. Ende Woche 5 - Die Buds werden immer fetter und frostiger. Beim aufmachen des Zeltes kam ein unglaublicher Geruch nach Zitrone. Beim Gießen kam ich hier und da mal an die Buds und der Geruch an den Händen war unglaublich, süß, fruchtig, Zitronig und Harzig - viel Versprechend.

I cannot wait to see how this beautiful Queen is going to look at te end of the flowering stage, she’s the closet I’ve came to LST in a manner I wanted this baby to grow, loving how brunches twirl around the twig, l have stopped growing Christmas tree shaped babies. I LST from the seedling phase right through to flowering, you should not forget that this plant can take stress, imagine it was growing in the wild, some stress in your plant’s lie is critical for positive growth, from my point of view my trees are going to struggle with big buds, because it does not have this thick stems.

Die Pflanze ist nun in der Vorblüte! Auch hat sie einen Wachstumsschub bekommen. Alle Pflanzen im Turm explodieren aktuell. ------------------------ The plant is now in pre-flowering. It has also had a growth spurt. All the plants in the tower are currently exploding.

The two larger (and older) CBD Cracks are looking very good, the younger one needs to kick it's butt into gear! We have a heat wave going through right now so hopefully they'll like it😎 I went out to water early this morning so they got a little lime water. I was hoping for a little more growth this week but hopefully the lime will do it's trick and help them along. They have plenty of nutes in the soil to use up and I don't want to mess with them too much early on. And yes, I did put tomato cages in their bags because my evil, spiteful cat was trying to dig in there and take a 💩 and I really don't need that...
