Looking halfway decent for flower. Will be defoliating soon

Week 8 all fem plants had one watering with just water and 2ml/L florakleen in order to prepare the soil for bloom nuts in the end of the week. Temp in dark period increased a couple of degrees and they already look slightly better. Auto noname strain must be about 15-20 days from ready to harvest 😝

The cannabis plant is generally growing well and is progressing as expected during the flowering stage. Despite the positive overall growth, brown spots have appeared on some of the leaves and I dont really know what it is. While the appearance of brown spots is concerning, the overall health of the cannabis plant remains good. With careful monitoring and appropriate adjustments, the plant should continue to develop successfully. It will be exciting to see how the plant progresses as it matures, even if its growth rate is somewhat slower than expected.

Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

All three girls are officially in bloom! 🌼 #2, our surprise LST candidate (thanks, fan 😅), has now also entered flowering, and is looking strong! #1 has shot up and is clearly the tallest in the tent, stretching like there’s no tomorrow. Meanwhile, #3 decided to skip the gym and focus on curves, she’s staying short but growing wide, even without any training 💪 Overall, everything is going smooth, healthy. 1 of the bubba kush & 2 of the gorilla zkittlez are a little behind but over all everything seems to be going good so far! Day 10 update transplanted all the ones in smaller pots to 5 gallon pots except 1 of the bubba Kush it still needs a few more days! Everything else seems to be going great!

Going to veg for another week after they settle. May trellis, may not.

1st of November, HARVEST, D91 So, after the 24 hours of darkness, she is now beautiful and ready. After chopping her, I hung her for some hours – I had some stuff to do – and after that I did wet trimming since I find it more convenient and I don´t like to trim dry buds. I guess the best way for me would be to leave it drying for some days, do the trimming, then leave it drying some more, but, I sincerely don´t have patience lol. When I was in the last stock to trim (which was the main btw) the top bud looked strange to me so I opened it and it was starting to rot.. I got really sad but what can I do except for trying to save it, right? So I took all the rotten parts out of the top bud and tore it to pieces to watch it closely and keep it from getting any more mold. D94 Today I weighed the half part of the top bud that was already dry and it remained without any mold: 3.6 grams. D97 Everything is dry and now curing, the total weight is 68.6, 65 of the whole plant and 3.6 of what I saved from the rotten bud. I´m really happy with the results, the buds aren´t much dense but they look beautiful. D111 Today is the 14th day of curing. D120 Today I´ll be doing the smoke report, it´s been curing for 3 weeks and the smells is quite good already, I know it can be better but the taste is good already so I´ll be doing it today. Nov 24 2022 Started LST last night, a tad late but no big issue I hope. Moved grow cycle time back and hour and a half. Light were shutting off at 12:00AM, I couldn't do consistent foliar spray at night (was in bed) Shifted to 10:30PM OFF, 4:30AM ON It was 12:00AM OFF and 6:00AM ON Plants are a vibrant green, thick strong main stem 5L Grow bags have arrived in the mail finally Nov 26, 2022 Watered and fed Tommy and Danny 1tbsp per 1L of water Both plants were bone dry 2 inches down

This week I have finally moved in to flower. I lollipoped the ladies on 4/20, after a day they seemed to be unstressed so I flipped them to 24 hr darkness and then 12/12 cycles.

Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

And the third week of flowering is behind me, Watermelon has begun to stagnate in growth so a height of about 70 cm is the maximum it will reach. 😎 At the end of the week I did a defoliation, I removed the lower leaves and branches and some of the leaves inside the plant itself, which were already very yellow. I’m still not sure what is the cause of the brown spots and leaf decay. If it’s an excess of nutrients, then the conclusion is that Purple Punch (which keeps her company in the Box) is much more resistant than Watermelon. Another possible cause is nicotine disease, because in the plant itself, there is an opening through which air enters the Box, and if there is a lot of tobacco in the room in front, it is possible. 😟 If anyone is reading this text, and has an idea of ​​the cause of leaf decay, I ask him for advice. 🙏 The flowers develop nicely, are full of already visible trichomes and begin to take on an increasingly intense scent. Also, the flowers can be seen to turn purple. 😍 After all, everything can be seen in detail in the photos. At this stage of flowering I started doing photos on a black background, the photos are much nicer. Regardless of the leaves, I was still adding nutrients since everything was fine with her roommates Purple Punch. This will be a test to see how much is really enough to dose them, especially since each strain reacts differently. Here is a brief overview of the week. 04/03/2021 - Day 37. Watering. I regulated p.H. at 6.3 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick, and added one Easy Bloom Booster tablets to a total of 7 gallons of water. With that, I watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.3 degrees and 41% humidity. 08/03/2021 - Day 41. Watering. p.H. I regulated to 6.2, I added 1ml / lit CalMg and BioBizz as scheduled for the third week of flowering. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 39% humidity. 09/03/2021 - Day 42. Defoliation and photography. I photographed the plants in the Box, to see the current condition and after that I did a defoliation. For the end, I took the final photos of the plant for the end of the 6th week. FERMAKOR KOH Extraction – Update Last time I said the batch would be done in 3–4 days, but I made a last-moment change. I added fresh cannabis leaves, branches, and pistils to help buffer the extra KOH, fix the PK imbalance, and see if I can bring it into line without using citric acid. Reaction so far: greens are breaking down fast, adding nitrogen while soaking up some of the excess alkalinity. Smell: strong ammonia, but not rotten — typical of proteins and chlorophyll being stripped out. Texture: slurry has darkened, foam is down, liquid looks stable. Plan: let it sit a couple more days stirring, then check if it’s ready to use and use some citric acid in case the pH is still to high and "force" it ready.

Day 43 (Second Grow, Flowering Phase): Hey everyone! We’re well into day 43 of our second grow and deep into the flowering phase. 🌸 The transition has been amazing to witness, with our plants showing significant bud development. The plants are producing beautiful, dense buds, and it’s incredible to see the daily changes and the rapid development. We’ve been maintaining the humidity between 50-60%, but we’re keeping a close eye on it to prevent any issues. We’re considering whether to get a dehumidifier to bring it down to the ideal 40-50%. The SCROG net continues to work wonders, ensuring even light distribution and supporting the heavy buds. Our Timor shield mantis is still patrolling the garden, keeping pests at bay naturally. She’s become quite the guardian! The plants are looking healthy and vibrant. We're excited to see how they continue to develop over the coming weeks. Any tips or advice for optimizing this stage?
