Week 9: Flower - The First Harvest & Final Countdown! ✂️🌿 THE BIG CHOP IS DONE! Gorilla Z #1 has been harvested, and we're officially in the drying phase. Meanwhile, the remaining ladies are marching toward their own finish lines. Gorilla Z #1 - HARVESTED! 🎉 She's down! After weeks of growth, recovery from overwatering, and pushing through to the end, this girl finally got the chop. Trichome Check: Mostly cloudy/milky (peak THC production ✓) A few amber trichomes starting to show Minimal clear trichomes Harvest Timing: Honestly? I was in a rush—ran out of flower to smoke! 😅 But the trichomes were in a good window, so it worked out. Sometimes necessity makes the decision for you. Could've waited for more amber for a heavier effect, but she was ready enough. What's Next: Drying phase begins now Aiming for slow dry (60°F, 60% humidity if possible) Then comes the cure—patience will be tested again! The Relief: Finally got some homegrown coming down the pipeline. The timing couldn't be better!

Ok so I'm going too only feed pH water from here on out too force the plants too use up all that's in the soil , I am hoping I can carry them on now for the next 2 weeks like this before they are ripe ,

Day 43 - First day of week 7 today and she looks really good just not sure if she’s really starting to flower yet. I’m hoping this is just typical of the GC strain. Day 44 - No major changes, she’s growing and I’m loving the looks of her. Will continue uploading daily pictures. Day 45 - She’s looking really good and budding more and more each day. Gave her straight pH’d water today and tomorrow and will give her another feeding on Saturday. She’s drinking almost a gallon of water a day. Day 46 - Things are looking good with this girl. Bud sites are growing daily and this thing is a beauty. Gave her another feeding of just pH’d water and will “feed” her tomorrow. Day 47 - ALL is looking good and she’s looking purdy. Gave her a feeding with the foxfarm nutes today. Did a true measurement to the biggest branch and she’s at 25.5”. Will continue to measure each day to see how much she’s growing in a 24 hour period. Day 48 - Looking gorgeous and still stretching. Grew another two inches and is sitting at 27.5” right now. She’s really starting to fill in now and looking forward to the next few weeks. Day 49 - The way thing thing is growing, she’s gonna be a beast. Gave her straight pH’d water tonight and will give her a feeding tomorrow. Looks like she finally stopped stretching, sitting at 27.5” still so hopefully she’ll start putting on the weight.

Hey growers! Another week is here and it was a tough week indeed. First, as you can see, one plant is missing. One of the wedding cakes become a hermie for some reason, produced seeds in buds and I had to cut it down early. Others look fine, no signs of seeds anywhere. Around 3-4 weeks till harvest. I also cut all branches and buds that were getting no light and did some lst to get all buds as much light as possible for the last part of flower. Cheers!

The overall cold nights kept the plants dormant however they were still resilient and took to the soil during transplant into 5 gallon containers. Heavy rain also played a factor in stunted growth

All going ok ... there looking frosty as hell.....nearly on the 7th week of flower just need that fatting up stage now

Now Flora!! 💐💐 They are healthy and have enough buds for abundant flowering!!

Buds are not as dense as the first purple punch but the mass is more. Will keep this updated up to drying. Edit #1 June 15 : buds have been washed in baking soda/lime juice warm water (32*C) > rtp water (27*C) > cold water (22*C). Buds then will be hung to dry for 24 hours in AC (45% humid). At day 2 (or in another 24 hours) will move the buds into another room for 24 hours again @65-75% humidity. Day 3 (or in another and probably the last 24 hours of drying) will move back into ac and then a stem test on each branch will be conducted to see if they are dry enough. If they are not dry enough after day 3 (2 days ac @ 45% and 1 day rtp @65-75%) then a 4th day of ac drying will occur and then more branch tests. Upon being sufficiently dry, the final trim of the sugar leaves will occur and then jarring with some Boveda 58%. Thanks for reading, more edits to come. Edit : 18/June/‘21 Seeds looking real nice, I have given some away for people to rest and tell me if I did my procedure correct (feminizing seeds with female pollen due to a female plant being stress). Moved to a bigger tent and added two additional plants so I could have everything in one spot. The plants in this diary are on the left side of the tent and along the back wall. The other plants are another GSC clone that is a little smaller, and a Wedding Cake from Seedking.com. they are being grown the same way as the others. I'm very impressed with how the GSC clones are flowering relative to the gorilla glue. They are just way more dense and bigger flowers. Fingers crossed the gorilla glue fills out.

Hi Guys, Grow Diaries for whatever reason won't allow me to upload my complete harvest video which is a real bummer because I mainly do the videos for my YouTube channel but decided to also include them on grow diaries to give other growers who might be considering growing the same strain in the future. Helps give people an idea of what to expect when they grow it. But honestly I can't be bothered to re-edit it to fit to Grow Diaries setting which I don't even know what they are.... Didn't think they had any! Maybe it's the length of my video..... 🤔! I don't know, but I like to give growers a good description of the strain and smoke review. I hate it when I go to others peoples pages to have a look at a strain I'm thinking of growing and them not having hardly any pictures that properly show you the growth stages of the plants.... Really annoying. Which is why I chose to properly document mine to give you guys or try to give you guys the best view of my grows.....
