I'm kinda late on the update, week 11 finished on sunday 4, now is feb 9th. Last time i gave them nutrients was on sunday jan 28th and i'm flushing them since that date. My intention was to take them down this sunday (11) but I will not be at home that day, maybe I'll cut them on monday 12th. Maybe on monday i will add week 12 and then when the drying is done I'll update the harvest. So far it seems like taller plant needs more time, as far as you guys have told me, seems like smaller is ready, but because of time I think I will cut them together. Also my intention es to create a video to participate on 2F4B contest, i forgot to record the harvesting of LSD25 so this strain is my chance.😀

Well I decided I had to pull the plug on this girl with all the weird weather we've been having. I've been pulling yellowing fan leaves off her for a couple weeks now and with our 2nd heat wave and all the smoke & ash thrown in for bad measure... it's been truly weird. Yesterday was a day for the record books around here - it was so dark I could tell my pets were spooked. Even they knew it wasn't supposed to be this dark in daytime. Probably how animals react to things like a solar eclipse. If they haven't got somebody nearby to reassure them of some sense of normal - the alarm bells start going off. I hadn't really gotten the impression this girl was all that fragrant during the flowering process UNTIL I was washing all that ash off her this morning - then I was like - WOW this stiff is pretty intense in the nose. One thing I'm pretty sure of is that the sun ain't coming out for a couple more days the ways the smoke be flowing around here. We'll see. Two more plants on the patio but they aren't far behind. September 13 >> Debudded the Widow late this afternoon to make space in my shed to harvest Jack Herer in the morning. She was still a little moist as I harvested her 3 days ago - but it hasn't been that hot. The smoke is still hiding the sun and the atmosphere is labeled "unhealthy". Hung her up in my front bedroom to finish the drying process. I should note the passing of reggae giant (many say inventor) Toots Hibbert, of Toots and the Maytals last Friday. I went looking for some pics of the last show I saw him at and coincidentally it turned out to be one year ago today, September 13, 2019 at the Independant in San Francisco. I was lucky to have seem him a few times. So I uploaded about 30 seconds worth of Pressure Drop from that show. RIP Buddy. 😪 ====================================================== September 21 >> Finished hand trimming the Widow yesterday while mostly listening to the last round of the US Open. In September... while they're playing Stanley Cup playoffs too. Very weird time.... both these things normally happen in June every year. The buds weighed in at basically 8 ounces (227 grams). The trim came in at 325 grams - and in this case I use the Trimbag - although I don't think she was really dry enough to get proper function outa the bag. I still spent over 6 hours hand trimming the remainder AFTER the Trimbag in this case. It wasn't really a problem because I had like 10 hours of US Open coverage for 4 days to burn thru. In the process of turning all that trim into hash at the moment... because I'm all configured to go at the moment after making Wonder Pie hash last week. I'll stick it in the garage to dry for a few days and add the weights later. One thing I've noticed that's probably pandemic-related is 90% isopropyl alcohol has become very hard to find (haven't had to look for like 6 months because I had a couple bottles that lasted). I've used it to clean my glass bong/dab rigs for years. 70% is there - but even that now it's like you have to ask for it. Pheno 1: strong natural tart cherries with a slight candy Pheno 2: loud cherry candy Pheno 3: cherry fun dip Pheno 4: cherries mashed with earthiness Pheno 5: the strongest cherry pheno I’ve ever smelt. Just loud cherries in your face. I kept pheno 3 and 5. I pressed both into rosin and the terps were insane it smelt like I worked a double at the marischino cherry factory. The terps on 3 were cherries on the inhale with a candy fun dip exhale (absolutely up my alley). Pheno 5 was the most in your face cherry I’ve ever tasted. It was straight cherries throughout the inhale exhale with a slight tart/candy on the back end. I have found my cherry phenos for my future business. Thank you for riding this journey with me. Week 5 already 😁 but bad luck this week, the whole week we had rain on my island and very cloudy weather, which is obviously bad for the plant 😢🌱 hopefully the weather change soon as its already summer and it never rains in june here so it really screwed a week of flowering, specially the week 4-5-6 as the plant gets fatter. The smell is amazing, this strain is incredible, cant wait to try some, im thinking about using this plant in an extraction 😁

Early update as I'm gone for a bit. She's still growing fast, beautiful perfect shade of green. Haven't had any nutrient problems whatsoever, hardly any pests either. Just drip irrigation and lost coast spray this week. Plucked a few leaves to try and slow down some of the faster nodes, fairly even so far. Should be smooth sailing till flower!

Got these beans from a festival and they are from 501 genetics based in Thailand (or malaysia i stand corrected apologies) and these are fire 🔥 hope and pray i got seeds so i can experience this journey once more. Fire 501 Genetics well done

Week 18 Daylight 12h40 - ☀️7h40/20h20🌙 🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃 This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩. Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity. September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars. Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano) I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil. For the moment the flowering continues. -Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged. -Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch. -GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way. -Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn.
