Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. The way I "solved" my problem was a huge mistake, creating bigger problems. Gravel I put on top of soil kept moisture inside the pots, so I manage to over water my plants. NEVER PUT GRAVEL ON TOP OF YOUR SOIL! 🤦‍♂️ NEVER 😂 Big shoutout to guys who answered my question in week 3! Thanks for your help and support! So I remove all gravel and let all pots to dry completly before next watering. They bounced back very fast. Also I did LST training on them and manage to break up that one girl which had biggest over watering issues. Shit happens I guess... Btw its one of Amnesia strains. As week 2 comes to an end 4 of the 5 have shown great growth 1 is behind (#5) but it also has a mutation and has a few 4 leafers on it. #3 is shorter and has wider leaves.

week intel: its time for second pruning they grew up too fast and need second pruning as below : first i remove big fan leaves and only leaves then let them rest for 1 day then the second part of pruning will get done that is removing branches based on these conditions: 1-if the branch is very low and never can make it to the top , 2- if branch is in shade even after pruning fan leaves , 3- if there are too many branches at the small space then non of them will get resources so if there is no space for branch then , they must get remove. everything is perfect! stresses : pruning big fan leaves and lower branches + a little E.C stress around 1.7 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 884 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster + Karbo Boost around 325 ppm - 0.6 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.4 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : no more stresses from now on till the end and from next week i'll reduce the amount of nitrogen and calcium to below half to the end.

It’s the third week of vegetation, and both plants are growing like crazy! 🌿 They’re super healthy and pushing forward with lots of energy. I’ve been feeding them with the BioBizz nutrient schedule for veg and adding Root Juice to boost their root development. 🌱💧 I’m trying different LST (low-stress training) techniques with both plants. For one, I’ve applied LST to the entire plant, bending the main stem to get more light exposure across the canopy. 🌿🔄 The other plant is a bit different—I’ve only used LST on the lower branches to encourage better side growth while letting the main stem do its thing. 🌱📈 Both plants are responding really well, and I’m excited to see how these different techniques impact their development. Things are looking promising! 😁✨

Both are still pushing out lots of new white pistils but glands are swollen all over the place and she's completely covered in cloudy trichs with few ambers 3-5%..will b harvesting her mid to late wk and will write final harvest report when she's ready to cure.. My carbon filter is struggling to completely take away all the smell and you get a faint odour when i enter room were the tent is.. Runtz punch has sprouted and is about a week old. She has stretch a little too much so I increased the light strength some till she gets some growth on her and roots in the solution. Everything is looking good at the moment. Day 51 (12/12)

Happy Independence Day! I got this Acid Dough wet trimmed in about 2 hours which is freaking awesome! She is sticky and stinky AF!!! This is my first run by Ripper Seeds, and I am honestly very very impressed, and it takes a bit to impress me. She will not yield as much as the Wedding Cheesecake, but cutting the trim time by 75% is worth it to me. I think she will put out around 12-13 zips dry, which I am happy with for an autoflower, especially one that was ready in under 90 days. I will absolutely be growing this again, only problem is my list is sooo freaking long with autos I want to try, and I am only growing 2 autos at a time now due to only having a 4X4 tent for flowering. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, be safe and blaze on!!! I ended up with 12.2 OZ dry, which I am happy with, but I definitely I know I can do much better. The buds are very dense, and absolutely smell pungent AF. I really enjoyed growing this strain, which was given to me from a fellow breeder who loves Acid Dough and spun this one to an Auto. I can't wait to squeeze these buds, as I they are so sticky and dense, I believe I may be able to achieve 25% yield, something I have never done before.
