11/3 - Today was the first day of week 5 and also the first day I could see a visibly measurable decrease in her water level between check-ins (~12 hours apart). As a result of her drinking so much water in such a short time, the ppms shot up to almost 800. I used straight tap (7.5 pH, 170ppm) to adjust since her pH was also measuring 5.3. I adjusted her with this method until she registered 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would prefer for her pH to be a bit higher (5.8, ideally), but I will settle with this for now since the water is back to just touching the basket. Over the last couple days I've been adjusting her LST to help her bush up as much as possible. I can already see the heavy Sativa influence in her compared to her sister in the tent. I can't wait to see what she will throw at me. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 650ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. This is week 7 plants are looking and smells amazing. Did minor defoliation along with flush with 1 gallon each. Now two weeks max until harvest . Trichromes are already looking cloudy with some amber so may be able to chop ealier! Day 55 of flower still flushing with water only trichomes look mostly cloudy with some amber on sugar leaves. Trying to maintain 75 f 50-55 rh and lowered light intensity.

I loved it. Grew some really nice buds, produced an amazing smell that filled the room once I opened my tent. The buds are really sticky, trichomes looked amazing they were about 75% cloudy when I cut her down.

Bit late posting this but the pictures are from D70, with work I didn’t have time until now. They’re still filling out the room ever so slightly. The girl at the front is suffering from light stress even though she’s the shortest, I have dimmed the light above her down to 70%. Out of all the the plants she has been the most difficult to manage from the start and has the smallest root mass. The other plants seem to be handling 100% with no issues. I have to say, at this stage of the grow, they do smell nicer than Strawberry Lemonade, very sweet and perfume like, harder to grow it seems but I am looking forward to trying her in August! Going into 48hr darkness at day 60, plants are sticky asf very strong sweet smells looking fwd smoke testing all 3 phenos.

She is so so so huge, all that tops you can see are a side branches 🤯 🤯 The Gelato growing very healthy and very fast, this is one of my best looking plant so far. Couple more weeks of feeding then flush. This girl is stacking hard and buds are forming rock solid.

2-24, Day 59 harvest Plants were all cut down together. Hung to allow tent conversion to drying setup and reloaded into the tent. Some nicer images were taken with the R100 cannon camera, and also a mix of images from my iPhone and my buddy's Note7. Current drying environment: 62F, 62% humidity. 2-26, Day 2 drying The tent is very stable around 60% humidity and 60F. I have the tent set up for negative pressure to pull a slight vacuum, ensuring the air will turnover inside the tent, with one oscillating fan helping to distribute the humidifier mist. I have an external air purifier running with active carbon filters to manage the smell.

It's going really good,I've notice today day17 for the plant that had those white thing on the leaves witch maybe caused by bug or spiders,I took the spidermite control organic 100ml bottle,I add 2,5 ml product with 120ml water and I spray the hole plant, the entire tent and the soil,I will spray again next week to,and repeat every week for the best results,so about 2/3 weeks..Tell me your opinion and if my plant looks healthy or not.(UPDATE)Day18 topping.(UPDATE)He had some damage to the leaves because of an organic product that I used for bugs, I spray the entire plant and damage some leaves,the topping is looking really good

We had a mega load of rain over the last few days and sadly I lost a huge NYD to stem rot. Anyways I new February in Durban was going to be a challenge. The soil doesn't drain very well where I live and unfortunately it just got too wet for too long. All the other plants are looking healthy and I did do treatments around their crowns with some peroxide followed by fungicide (organic oils). The haze x cheese is looking epic this week, buds are getting really big. Spotted some PM on some lower branches so I cleared out some undergrowth and have been pulling the odd leaves I see. Nothing too bad. Humidity has been 100% at points. Getting awesome hints of limone as I walk through the garden. Can't wait!

Purples came in yesterday, orange few days before that absolutely delighted for whats coming. Was lollipopping and defoliating all week, 6 pockets full of leaves lots of stickyness, hopefully more light to bud sights i want them to explode in size and fall over
