Week 5 : Auto Colorado in Vertafort Great week of growth, filling out the canopy nicely by now ! seeing some promising side shoots, not seeing any excess or lack of nutrients - yet ! sprayed with micro and kelp twice a week , keeping VPD in the green zone to great effect. got watered with co2 twice and got watered once with beneficials and micro. I might have messed uo a bit on the pH watering the last time, but only time will tell. Hopefully the soil microbes etc will buffer it out without any significant pH fluctuations. just trying to follow their growth with some LST and raising the light every day or couple of days this week, keeping the distance constant and hopefully keeping the correct distance. I'm not planning a feed for a couple of weeks at least. Let's see how the buds develop first ! Any comments or constructive suggestions, fire away ! 🚀

Hell yes the Perfeckt indoor structure on FW10S1

D36. We started the sixth week of veg, and the girls are rocking it in the tent. Today, I moved the humidifier to the front and installed the scrog net. I'll let the girls fill the net before flipping them into flowers. I gave each girl 2 liters of water @ pH 6.4, with 10ml/liter homemade bokashi juice. ------------------------------ D38. I gave each girl 2-5-liters of water @ pH 6.4, with 10ml of humic acid. ------------------------------ D39. The girls are slowly filling in the scrog. I'll leave them for another few days and then flip at the start of next week. Removed a few leaves below the scrog. (I like to defoliate as I go along.) I moved the mushroom kit over to the side of the tent. No shrooms yet, but it will be more out of the way there. ------------------------------ D40. Brewed a simple compost tea (worm castings, rock dust, molasses) and gave each girl 2 liters @ pH 6.4. These ladies don't like too much light during veg, and I'm seeing taco leaves toward the end of the day, indicating that they have had enough. I will slightly drop the DLI tomorrow and see how they respond. ------------------------------ D42. The last day in the sixth and final week of veg. The girls are looking great! The scrog is a bit empty in the middle of the second girl, but I'm hoping some lower branches will fill those holes in the coming days. Healthy and vibrant, and they are ready to move on. I flipped the lights to the flower-inducing program after the girls went to sleep to give them a fresh start when waking up. The clones I took last week have rooted, and I'll transplant them into 1-liter pots tomorrow. I hooked up a drip watering system as I'll be traveling soon, and I want enough time to dial it in correctly before leaving. Finally, I gave the girls a fulvic acid foliar spray. One of their last foliar sprays as we're heading into flower. ------------------------------

She's maturing and getting more ripe and ripe by the day! Top nugs are still growing/foxtailing so their progress is never ending it seems! Gonna check trichomes within the next week. She's getting a super nice fade although not my intention, still very pretty. Very nice frosty, green with purple edges/tips. The sunlight shots of this are gonna be mind boggling! Took the pics on my actual camera phone so the quality was better! The Terps are amazing, and done developing I believe; it's a deep red Fruit Punch + Superboof + sum Pure Michigan hashiness. To die for. Absolutely smells up the entire grow area and most of the house when the doors open! Absolutely gonna be growing Homegrown again; excited for Apple Junky and Garlic Applez grows! Last irrigation: D:108 ——————————————————————————— A few days ago, the plants endured a heatwave with temperatures averaging 34–36°C. I left them in the sun, and they seemed to take it well; they were visibly praying 🙏. The minor senescence visible in the canopy may be related to the heat, or it could simply be nutrient reallocation due to the current stage of development. I have increased my nitrogen levels by 0.2–0.3 EC (blue formula) since day 19 of bloom while maintaining the red formula. 🙂 In my earlier entry, I mentioned that the plants might be further along in bloom than officially logged; they were already in the light-deprivation transition window prior to the 12/12 switch (albeit only 10 hours of darkness). Consequently, the actual flower day is likely 33–34, which suggests they are prioritizing bud production over canopy health. I’ve consistently observed this to be normal behavior for this specific phenotype :)

those nugs are getting bigger and bigger each day. They‘re just soaking up the fertilzers. We have to water them every second day 2l per plant

Going to have to harvest early as I veged her for way too long in a 0.5 gallon fabric pot, need to get her before more problems happen...

Fattening week !! Alternating water/nutes irrigations... Gave the plant Top Bud, 2 times this week, using 0.5ml/l each one, but switching BIG ONE AND TOP BUD so: / -WATER- / -BIG ONE- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / -WATER- / -TOP BUD- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / --------------- Seems like @growdiaries did not add Top Bud to the database..So i let you the description below.. Top Bud : is a fattening fertilizer for the flowering stage. It maximum concentration of phosphorus and potassium and its absence of nitrates make it an ideal fertilizer for fatterning, while respecting the good taste of the crop. It is also rich in amino acids that benefit the development of flowers. Dilute at the rate of: 0.5-1ml per 1L of water once a week. Apt to: Its use in hydroponic substrate and coconut fiber. --------------

Buds are not as dense as the first purple punch but the mass is more. Will keep this updated up to drying. Edit #1 June 15 : buds have been washed in baking soda/lime juice warm water (32*C) > rtp water (27*C) > cold water (22*C). Buds then will be hung to dry for 24 hours in AC (45% humid). At day 2 (or in another 24 hours) will move the buds into another room for 24 hours again @65-75% humidity. Day 3 (or in another and probably the last 24 hours of drying) will move back into ac and then a stem test on each branch will be conducted to see if they are dry enough. If they are not dry enough after day 3 (2 days ac @ 45% and 1 day rtp @65-75%) then a 4th day of ac drying will occur and then more branch tests. Upon being sufficiently dry, the final trim of the sugar leaves will occur and then jarring with some Boveda 58%. Thanks for reading, more edits to come. It has developed so far and is now slowly starting to develop its flowers :-). As soon as the first forms of buds can be seen (I think in 5-10 days) 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom per liter of substrate are added. In the third week, 1 g per liter of substrate is added so that it lasts through to the end :-). This week it was poured 3 times with 1 liter each 👍. The entire tent was also cleaned and the electronics checked for functionality. The humidifier was refilled every day and fresh osmosis water was drained into the tank for the coming week ☺️. The plants have all been checked for health and pests 👍. Next week the bamboo sticks are inserted towards the end for support and the lowest shoots are removed so that at the end the energy is not wasted in the lower area 👍. Lady Blueberry ist eine wasserschlürfende Schönheit, die nicht geneigt ist auch nur kurzfristigen Wassermangel zu tolerieren. Am heißesten Tag dieser Woche mit 35° C. wurde gegen späten Nachmittag das Wasser knapp. Es war gut daran erkennbar, dass einige Blätter plötzlich ihre helle Unterseite zeigten. Ich habe dann sofort ausgiebig genug gewässert, die Blätter hoben sich wieder und drehten ins Grüne, aber der Schaden zeigte sich am nächsten Tag, als einige Blätter an den Rändern vertrockneten und braun wurden. Das ist gut auf den Bildern zu erkennen. Der Schaden ist zwar nicht groß aber die Tropfbewässerung, die ich dieses Jahr noch nicht installiert habe, hätte es verhindert. Gewachsen ist sie in dieser Woche trotzdem ein gutes Stück mit 14 cm, was aber im Vergleich zur Fruit Bomb Punch und Rainbow Road deutlich weniger ist. Die Blueberry schein in der Wachstumsphase besser mit gemäßigten Temperaturen klarzukommen. Sie ist trotzdem eine imposante Erscheinung, ich bin auf die kommenden Wochen gespannt. Vielen Dank für euren Besuch und vergesst nicht bei dieser Hitze genug zu trinken, auf dass sich keine Trockenschäden an euch zeigen! --- Lady Blueberry is a water-guzzling beauty who is not willing to tolerate even a brief shortage of water. On the hottest day of the week, when the temperature reached 35°C, the water began to run low towards late afternoon. This was clearly evident as some leaves suddenly revealed their pale undersides. I then watered her thoroughly straight away; the leaves perked up again and turned green, but the damage became apparent the next day, when the edges of some leaves dried out and turned brown. This is clearly visible in the photos. Although the damage isn’t severe, the drip irrigation system – which I haven’t installed yet this year – would have prevented it. It has still grown a good 14 cm this week, though this is significantly less than the Fruit Bomb Punch and Rainbow Road. The Blueberry seems to cope better with moderate temperatures during its growth phase. It’s still an impressive sight, and I’m looking forward to the coming weeks.
