Hello fellow growers, I am pleased to start this new journey with you. I am also particularly excited since I am going to grow a Mephisto Genetics strain for the very first time, the famous Double Grape. I know you shouldn't believe the hype, as Public Enemy used to say, but it's hard to ignore the dithyrambic reviews when it comes to Mephisto. I sowed the seed directly in the substrate and it was popping out 3 days later. Right now the seedling is under my Mars Hydro TS1000, brightness set at 25%, lights are 80cm away. During my last grows I set it up to the max at all stages of growth, this time I decided to proceed differently and increase gradually. Die Ernte ist gut, ich bin im großen und ganzen sehr zufrieden wie alles verlaufen ist. Man kann aus dieser Genetik einiges raus holen die Zentrale Koller ist schon Monster mäßig. Auch die unteren Blüten können sich sehen lassen schöne Feste Knollen.👌🏼 Ich freue mich auf das verkosten, sie riecht gäsig mit süßlichen Nuancen. Das Growen mit dieser Sorte hat mir sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Es gab keine großen Probleme, solange man sie nicht zu sehr stresst. Kommt sie mit jeder Gegebenheit zurecht. Ein großes Danke geht an Zamnesia und Plagron, das ihr ein Wettbewerb ins Leben gerufen habt mit diesen großartigen Dünger dieser Strain konnte sehr gut mit diesen Nährstoffen umgehen. The flowers are starting show a build up of crystals, I’m shocked at the speed this plant is producing flowers. They are filling up fast from the top down, as you can see still some time to go before all the main flowers are fully developed. The leaves show signs of heat damage and over watering but that’s ok. The heatwave has passed but it’s still on the warmer side. The cutting is flowering normally and is receiving light directly so hopefully it will produce a small flower or 2.

One bean was badly mutated still produced an ounce of decent bud. The normal gorilla cookies started off strong then turned out quite small but produced very pretty dense buds thickly covered in trichomes.

Leaving nuets as they are as this will drop pot EC. Setting the alarm for the AM before lights out at 7:30 and changing the sched to 6AM-6PM summer is done no need for current schedule. Added 2 videos on preparing a nutrient solution and pH balancing the solution. This week saw aggressive topping (mid week 4) and some serious leaf damage. Not sure if the leaf damage is from the topping, nutrients, etc. I did a flush and solution swap, cleaned the air stone and inside of the jar etc. Built the trellis and started training. I'll cut away whatever trellis doesn't end up getting used once flowering starts. Creepy Don Santa is watching this grow closely. That cat of his is trouble.

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

End of week 4 and they are smelling strong and pumping up. Getting frostier by the day . Max light now and cooler temps through the bulk up . The slightly smaller pots seem to run out of nutes fast but I’m a livht feeder so there’s some lighter leaves . Still putting out and popping off . Let’s goo

Germination - I planted the seeds at home in a light mix substrate. Unfortunately, the weather forecast called for a night temperature of 7 degrees, so I made a greenhouse out of pet bottles Blue granules are protection against slugs, I have had very bad experiences with them. As you can see slugs are really many and have made my plants slug cemetery :D Slime everywhere one looks, I call it the path of death Watered with water from the stream directly from the spring

Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

10/31 - Harvested the short fattie (Halle Berry)..washed and hung to dry. 11/14 - Harvested the bushy one along with several other plants. This is the second time I've grown this strain, and had pretty much the same results. Excellent weed, but not a lot of it. Neither plant gave me any trouble. The short fat one came in pretty heavy considering she had no lower branching at all. Both plants produced very greasy, very pungent bud, covered in trichomes. The bushier one had no training and produced more, but wasn't as fat. I pressed some of it for the rosin, and it's delish. Very terpy.👍 Dry weights: A - 52g B - 71g Final thoughts: Will probably grow it again because it's my wife's favorite flavor, but I'd refer to find a strain that produces the same flavors but much heavier yields. Potency: 7/10 Yield: 5/10 Flavor: 8/10 Aroma: 9/10 Bag-appeal: 8/10 Bud Density: 7/10
