The plants look really happy, with a rich and vibrant color. They are now growing taller more slowly, but the side branches are getting thicker. The buds are becoming really fat and are completely iced out with trichomes. The calyxes continue to swell, and more trichomes are visible, starting to turn slightly milky. Some of the white hairs are slowly turning brown. I estimate about 2-4 weeks until harvest. The scent is simply delicious, with a pleasant creamy berry aroma. The buds are also incredibly resinous, making your fingers sticky as soon as you touch them. The plants are only lightly defoliated, with dead leaves selectively removed and small shoots trimmed only at the bottom of the plant. The ladies are also extremely thirsty. Besides the regular fertilized watering, they also receive tap water from the bottom, which they usually absorb within a few minutes. I also made an extra video to better show the size of the buds, and using the flash at night highlights the trichomes even more.

Thai chocolate the winner in this diary - hands down. Gréât coloring, nice structure and there’s a great color off the fan leaves - really a beauty and will be worth the xtra couple weeks flowering. Try PEV seeds out. They are really under rated

Started her (Betty) 1/3/22 when I was drinking and pissed that one of my double grapes 🍇 seeds didn’t pop. I’m trying to start 2 new autos every month so I can get a cache of bud stored up. Betty shed her helmet on 1/7/22 and looks like a lil banana 🍌 she’s so cute

28.8 Eight flowering week is done now and one week of flushing. Both look excellent but they'll go nine weeks. Other one maybe at day 60 because she already is pretty ripe looking. Barney's recommend was 60-70 days so I'll check at 9 weeks 63 days... I'll keep flushing and girls still swell and stack trichs nicely.👌 Not much to report.. Thank for checking in! Happy growing! 👽

Continued training and caring for the life in the soil... I'm trying to think of it as growing soil more then growing plants

Hey growmies! what a week for this plant, she responded wonderfully to the lollipopping and defoliation performed last week, in fact she started voraciously eating and i had to keep increasing dose and water every day. She did enter flower now, I have taken off a few more offshoots that wouldn't have yielded much bud and was crowding the canopy with tiny branches. Now was my last chance to take off said shoots, because this girl has started pumping energy into stretching, and now more of that precious energy will go into more dominant branches, that ultimately will yield higher quality flower. Could I technically have higher yield if I left the little branches? possibly. but that weight would come in fluffy bud that choke out airflow and nutrients away from the pretty flowers, which in turn suffer. the plant started stretching and she grew too close to her new lights, as a result all my tops have yellow tips, she should recover nicely however, I have raised the lights back to 45 cm above the canopy. Speaking of canopy, this autoflower is pretty big, atleast in DWC, so if you're growing her, deffo ScrOG her. Hydroguard keeps my roots pretty healthy, even during the heatwave without a chiller! next week i will put in a second trellis, help her while she stretches! hope to see you then

--- At last, the long-awaited summer days have arrived, with temperatures reaching 35°C at times, bringing heat during the day and thunderstorms at night or in the early hours of the morning. Consequently, Rainbow Road needs considerably more water. However, liquid fertiliser is applied only once a day; the rest of the water is given as required. Watering the large pots just once a day isn’t enough given the heat and evaporation. The hot, summery weather is set to continue into next week, again with temperatures reaching up to 35°C. It’s not just the plants that need more water now; the grower is drinking and drinking too... Rainbow Road has taken it in her stride so far and is coping very well with the weather. She’s had her second topping this week – she’s already outgrowing it – and has grown 25 cm compared to last week. Thank you very much for visiting, and make sure you and your plants stay well hydrated!
