Trichomes are ripening and she is definitely flushed out. Been using only water for two weeks now with some Flawless Finish once a week. Lowered light intensity from 60% to 50% and stopped supplementing UV maybe a week ago. She has gotten a very deep purple color and pistils have receded nicely turning a bright orange. Scent in the house has settled down but the scent on her when rubbed is still very pungent with the same smell as described before! Can’t wait to harvest this one coming next week!! 🤪

Fed once this week with a weak feed including top max. I use kombucha vinegar as pH down. Water from my tap is ph6.8-7.0 and 38-42ppm so I might start using calmag supliment as the ppm at my old house used to come out of the tap at ph7. 2 and 200-220ppm. I had 2 plants that didn't like the light at 30000 lux and started bleaching so I took them out. I've defoliated today day 35 as humidity was getting over 80% and also to let light to the lower bud sights. Pre flower pistils showed on some plants around day 33 (some still have none) so I'll consider this the end of veg start of flower. The kalimist indica pheno is still not showing pre flower pistils but is always hard to force flowering when it's not mature for some reason. It's always 7-14 days behind everything else 🤔

Late update this week, life was busy. Similar week to last week. A LOT of rain and thunderstorms with heavy winds, with one or two sunny days. Got to hand water once with nutrients mid week on a sunny day after a day of heavy smoke conditions. Both girls still suffering from aphids. Should see natural bugs soon, but have been fogging them 1-2 times a week to try and get rid of them. Damage has significantly slowed but hasn't stopped yet. Otherwise things going well. Stalks really thickening up which is good because these plants are really growing and there will be a lot of bud weight for them to support if we make it that far!

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... SWS56 is very solid and I look forward to running her again one day. Beautiful little girl and makes me smile😃😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20” tall and 24” wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. Day 50: Finally reached the third week of flower and she’s looking great. She continues to creep upwards while developing lots of sites and pistils. I’m hoping to see some bud development sometime soon. I’m also considering 18/6 light schedule if anyone has any opinions on it. I continue to feed her as before and I’m having no problems yet. Very excited to see what this week brings! Any comments are welcome! Happy growing! Day 51: I’m seeing no major differences since yesterday but she’s looking great! I’ve decided against changing the light schedule as I don’t want to stress her at all. She’s still not dried out since watering a few days ago so possibly too much water has slowed growth. Not concerned at the moment as she’s still progressing and looking great. Day 52: she seems slightly fatter. Maybe my eyes are being impatient😅 it’s still surprising me how quickly the medium can go from being nice and moist to bone dry. I’ve watered her today with slightly less grow and slightly more bloom and top max, hopefully she shows a positive reaction. I’m running out of head room rapidly so hopefully she doesn’t stretch excessively anymore. She’s also smelling a lot stronger today, not that I’m complaining😎 Day 53: definitely looking and smeller a lot better today. She must’ve liked the feed I gave her. Day 54: she’s smelling great and growing great. I’ll water her again tomorrow morning increasing bloom and top max dosage and lowering the grow. Hopefully she carries on like this. Day 55: watered today with a bigger dosage as above and she seems great. Smelling nice although I can’t see any major differences she’s definitely taking her sweet time. Day 56: she’s definitely shining more today and smeller stronger. Still no major differences, I’m looking forward to seeing what next weeks brings.

Noticed some slight yellowing and the white blemishes on a couple of the older plant's leaves were getting bigger. I believed the white blemishes were do to a cal-mag deficiency and added that to my feed. Also was using 1/4 nute strength and now bumped up to full to counter the yellowing. Started LST this week too.

Great growth! It’s incredible how much faster they grow in hydro systems! Everything’s looking good Not changing res yet as the roots just started getting full into the water so I’ll give them another week to drink up what’s in there and then change with stronger nutes. PHperfect seems to be working well Keeping it around 6.0ph Got my chiller setup but made the ph jump a bit so may have to keep an eye on that.

Everything is still going good for this week just giving 6.2 PH Tap water with a bubbler for 24 hours before I fill my Reservoir. July 2 when my lights came back on at 5pm I decided to Defoliate these two girls and add a ScrOG net for some extra support and some tucking for the leaves. July 6th last day of week 8 I took the other two plants in the back out of the tent today so I can flip these to 12 on 12 off.

After a week in the greenhouse, the ladies have taken root and are growing well. This despite the lack of sun and less than ideal temperatures. But summer is supposed to return this week. We'll see what happens then...

So! A bunch has happend this week: defoliation, stretching and puttin' on some guuuuud weight ^_^ I defoliated the bottom third tier of each plant (about 6 to 10 leaves every 2 to 3 days over the week) They stretched like crazy, almost doubled in height for 2 of them as usual and the lil bish is coming on strong, with more bud sites and overall best morphology! And last point of this week's update, the swelling of the flowers has started and is in full gear to produce some beauties :D See y'all next week ;)

I would believe this variety again ... I think it could be better ... and do not make some mistakes in it ... I recommend it to all growers ...
