Week 8 Day 1: how did we get here?! Northern Lights is looking beautiful (the only plant in a 5 gal pot outside). No major issues. Kids were fed liquid nutrients for the second time 9/8, and will be recieving them once a week moving forward (hopefully every other watering). Gotta find a way to make watering a smoother process tho, might invest in a home RO filter 😂 Big dreams being discussed, this could be the start of the only cultivation, breeding, and distribution center that has a primary focus on re-entry and subsequent business development.. Still not a drop of rain for the last 3 weeks, 26C daily, full sun, really exploding in growth these days. Gave her another soak of some local Kelp / Fish mix, also been spraying with Aloe / Neem / Kelp mix twice weekly. Responding well to very little nutes / water. Catepillers seem to have peaced out, this warm weather caused their population to explode, lettuce and other veg was also hurt, not normal. FIM recovery was very quick, I'll be fimming 3 top nodes this weekend, need to keep this height under control at this rate of growth.

This is the final week in Veg, just tucking the tips down to maintain an even canopy. Week 14, Flowering week 9, flush week 2 The ladies are almost ready to harvest! We are going for the long haul here!! The DWC has about 6 litres of mineral water left in it, will let plant drink all. Indica phenotype plant is about 10% covered in amber trichomes, the rest are milky white. Sativa phenotype plant is abput 90% milky and 10% amber also. The light schedule will remain 12/12, with 48 hours of darkness before harvest. Harvest will likely happen this week, checking trichomes every morning while dark. Day 92 - resin explosion from 12/12 lighting a. I remove a few large fan leaves here and there that are drying up. b. the plants are eating all the nutrients from the leaves c. some of the small lower tiny buds I make bain marie qwiso, tastes incredible. Day 93 - getting very close, they are stinking soooo loudly a. the trichomes are at 15-20% amber on the Indica Phenotype and 10% on the Sativa phenotype b. all trichomes are milky, rarely see a clear Day 94 - need to harvest tomorrow a. its time, the DWC is nearly empty, the ladies have been in the dark, the hash I make is banging, time to harvest. Day 95 - Harvest Will create harvest week when buds are all dry

Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.
