Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. She has a lot of burns and i dont know why. Dont want to flush or something. I will let her take her way. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. She took 4cm in 3 days, so i guess stretching finished and start bud production. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. DsD drank pure water because of burns. She has lost a lot of leaves from bottom. I dont know what to do. I will keep watering her with pure water to see if burns stabilized.

She's doing pretty well but it seems like her buds are not fattening fast. I added some new advanced nutrients supplements so we'll see how this week go. How will I know When to do the week flush with plain water? I have no idea, I guess that will be my research for this week. Day 95.... still waiting on my portable microscope, should be here by tomorrow. Praying to the BUD God's for her buds to fatten up. Is it possible to harvest half of a plant? Day 97.....buds are getting a bit fatter. No complains, everything is perfect with this girl

So you can see my struggles with the coco curve. I’m use to soil so I wasn’t feeding as much as I was supposed to in the beginning. You see the obvious deficiencies. I get them dialed in though so stay tuned! Keep it green

- Day 84 Going into week 8 of flowering now. A lot of fan leaves removed over the past few days, she's looking a lot less bushy now. I redid the reservoir, building down the nutrients now as she should be ready in 1-2 weeks. Day 85 pH went back up to 6.6, got it back down to 6.0, barely any water out of the reservoir. Day 86 Water stayed at 6.0 pH, still enough water in the res as well so not gonna do anything today, just removed some dead leaves. Did check the trichomes, and we still got a lot of clear, a bit more cloudy and some amber ones popping up. Day 87 Just keeping the water level stable now and ph'ing when I have to. Gonna give those trichomes a few more days before I check again. Day 88 Just topped up the res with some ph'd water. Not much change yet in the trichomes. Day 89 No water changes needed today. Checked trichomes but still a lot of clear *saaaad* Day 90 Topped up the reservoir today, was getting a bit low. Also removed another handful of dying leaves.

Great climate, ideal. No problems to report, for the moment the critters are focused on something else. If it doesn't get too hot, I'll start reducing irrigation and defoliate more. The smell is very strong. Today 13.27 of light. Flowers are forming well, branches are finally swelling, bud structure is strong. Still stretching but less than previous days. August 21 update - first day of new heat wave

Here is a video tour of my back yard jungle. I am in the process of a huge clean-up now that the plants are ripening up and the buds are getting heavy. I'll post some photos tomorrow once the work is done. Some of the fan leaves are coming down now to promote light penetration and air circulation... don't want mildew.

Starting to see the buds really start to bulk up in size over the last few days. Light is set at %100 power for the final phase. Have done a good bit more defoliation again this week and am also continuing to back off with the feeds as I begin to flush out the medium. It’s looking like possibly lights out next week depending on the trichome development. ☺️🀞🏻☘️✌️ 🍧πŸͺ🍧

This week has been all about shaping the plant. I’ve learned from last that the colas weren’t the same height, because I let the plant do it’s things with just a bit of training. Now I know what to look for so I’m trying my hardest. I top dressed this week with crab meal, Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, insect frass, kelp meal, bone meal, azomite, and covered it with a healthy serving of worm castings (about an inch to 2 inches). All of which was sprinkled on all the chopped and dropped leaves/branches. I believe in adding biomass to soil, especially for an indoor growing who is money conscious. Doing that can help save me money going back to the store for more soil.

#seedsman420growoff and #SeedsmanSeeds πŸ“† Week 5, 25-31 May 2024 25-27 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 28 May - Defoliated plant. 29 May - Placed scrog ring on trellis system, bent top of plant over 90 degrees, adjusted and spread branches (see pictures). 30-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. πŸ“‘ I’m very pleased with the way this plant has responded to the nutrient schedule so far. Now it is time to see how she will do with training. I like using a version of the scrog method most because it gives me the greatest space for bud growth overall. My experiences have taught me that under these lights there is about 15-18” worth of quality vertical bud potential. Anything below that line is only draining on the plant, and not receiving adeqate DLI. So I dont need to focus on a tall plant - rather a wide one. Now that she is under a scrog the DLI has a significant canopy increase. What I’ve done with this plant is cut all side shoots off the main branches up to the scrog. She will grow for another week to allow all for growth to develop just above that and then be flipped to flower. I’ve never grown this plant before, but assumeing she can double her size during pre-flower, I’ll have plenty of room in my grow tent. The Trellis System: is made with 1/2” (12.7mm) white, SharkBite PEX, 1/2” pex clamps, small screws/nuts #6-32 x 3/8 in (to hold clamps opposite each other, this is what holds the structure together, side bars, rings, scrog), 1/2” pex straight coupling connectors (to connect rings, and extensions), nylon tape and nylon cord. The frame design is independant from the bucket and can be put on anytime before or after the start of the grow. It simply snaps together (nothing needs to be crimpted), the rings stay in tact with coupling and tape, the netting is strung once for the most part, I prefere 2” squares, and held in place by clamps. The size of the rings depends on the size of your pot, the bottom and top ring are measured seperately. The scrog ring is determined by the size of the tent or desired spread. It takes 5 side bars evenly spaced apart and snapped on the bottom ring 1st to hold the frame sturdy in place, their length should start flat from the bottom to about 8” above the top of the bucket. Place the pot into the bottom ring with 5 side bars already attached, lift up the bars, then put on and attach the top ring, this prevents it from moving. Both are then placed on a 12” Bonsai turn table for easy access and observation of the plant. The final scrog is placed on when the desired height is close to being achieved, then maneuvered down over the plant. A simple design that allows you to easily adjust the netting (place extenders on side bars faceing in opposite direction for additional height) and opens many other possabilities for training. See pictures for an example. 🍢 25 May nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 25 May feeding schedule updated πŸ’§ Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 πŸ‰ Nutrient Solution EC 2.3 at 73 degree F πŸ”† Light power at 60%, DLI 30-35 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😀 Using General Hydroponics, HGC728040, Dual Diaphragm Air Pump, 320 GPH That is it for this week. Thanks for the look, read and stopping by.
