Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. 2-1 Got her first water in new home. Was not watered in during x plant. Let her dry what she had first. 7ml EM1 will get a bigger dose soon. Just to kick things off. Around 1/2 tsp recharge, 1ml drops of balance. 1.5 ml Silica. Ph 6.0 500 ml. 2-3 Wish I would have watered 250-300. 500 was a bit much, should be fine. Looks very happy and perky. 2-4 Looks like she may have the fungus. Removed first leaves. 2-5 Peroxide spray at lights out. Slight possibility on 2nd set of leaves. 2-6 Removed 3rd set up leaves. Oh my goodness not again! Foliar spray, Canncontrol 300ml water .8 ml CannC. As a precaution. Enlisted Valiotoro, light may have burnts when lights came on from foliar. I dont remember checking. Focused more on if spread. 😂 Hope this helps. 🤞 Sad that the leaf removal will slow her down. .

THE BIG UPDATE GANG!!!!!!! ✨✨✨😎👌🌱🥦🌳 So starting the 5th week of veg, the girls are looking really really great, im already moving alot of the smaller babies out of there which i was growing to help out mama dukes for her garden, gotta help where we can, so anyways now i have more room, im going to be going to DC for 6 or 7 days but i have the scheduling set, will be minimal updates as im away but ill try to keep posting and yea hope all is well with everyone, again as always any and all advice is always greatly appreciated, FYI: i did start some LST on the plants but i decided to wait a bit longer and use garden wire instead of steel wire, again all advice is appreciated thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!

Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

I sure need to get used to the Auto way of growing. My methods and system with soil for regulars are not directly portable to cultivating auto's, so it seems. So what started out as a comparison/battle, is now just a normal grow, since it's not fair that the battlefield was tainted. It does seem the XL Runtz adjust better to my climate and growing style than the Forbidden Runtz. Also looking for ways to keep my tent cooler. Considering growing outdoor this summer with seeds started in the tent. It gets way too hot in here as it is now, with outside temps just at 10 to 15 degrees C. I'm just watering, alternating with a bit of BAC Bloom and Calmag, and some Topmax. From here I hope its some smoother sailing and hoping the other three will pick up some pace. She was topped for the 2nd time and received a canopy ring. She seems not so happy in her new container and the BioTabs mix, tips are yellowing, but I'm confident she will overcome this issue within a few days. I'm slowly building the manifold but she's not 100% symmetrical so I will probably wait for a few more nodes before the 3rd topping, 8 nodes incoming! 😎

FBT2403 has a sweet fruity smell. I did a solution change on her today. She had minor damage due to ph jumps. So I figured she was ready for a fresh mix to bulk on. She is growing good outside of that ph issue. A few more weeks and she will be ready for harvest. Feed still the same but upped to 4L every 2-3 days depending on the plant. Fruit punch aromas starting to come out. Will do a defoliation soon.

Removed the last lower leaves for good lighting, thereby redirecting energy to flowering, gave a finishing form to the bush at the beginning of the week, no more LST) began to pour water with low temperature to create an atmosphere of cold autumn, well, the harvest is near, we are waiting for 8 weeks!

Another week.struggling with mold because of high humidity..I will give 5more days and then 48ho darkness…almost there 🙏..

I'm so excited! This week she almost achived double size and show her first "hairs". Along with the 3x50W leds i added a 250W HPS lamp for the flowering stage. With the adding of HPS lamp the temperature rise about 5 celsius degrees and she became very thirsty! The "nutrients day" i use tap water and all the other days i use RO water only. My grow room has a short ceiling so i'm forced to light the plant from the sides and it seems to respond well on that!
