1/9: packing on weight. I let em get a little to hungry before top dressing them, think it was about 3 weeks since last top dressing of 1/4 cup of craft blend BAS in their 3 gallon pots. So gave em a nice tea to catch them up. Added some kashi on top to help speed up the break down process. Smells are really starting to kick in. Not my favorite. Definitely spicy, limy, piney. But very loud. A lot of variation in The phenotype. Got 2 short bushy and two long and spread out, and one bushy and green and one bushy and purple. One plant I knocked over during transplant so that could have effected its pheno with stress. But the other is naturally short.

In the mid flowering stage smells are amazing like citrus. The roots are full fill in soil, its hard rooted on the top on soil

4/8 super plump and thick. Its like a square rock hard prism shaped top cola. Water intake has slowed quite a bit. The end is nearing. I give it another couple weeks 4/12 shes super pretty. Orange Pistils, dark green buds with light purple,pinkish tones on some of the bud leaves. Reminds me of the gorilla skittles online picture

Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur Woche 14 und damit BW 2 – Season Vol. 2 meines kleinen Outdoor-Projekts 2026. Und auch hier geht es direkt weiter … Wir befinden uns nun Ende BW 2 und die Ladys haben (augenscheinlich) ihren Stretch beendet. Womit sie, auch durch das viele Training, einen doch sehr moderaten Wuchs beibehalten haben. Des Weiteren habe ich die etwas kühleren Tage genutzt, um die Pflanzen untenrum etwas „frisch“ zu machen. Dabei ist eine ganze Menge Laub angefallen, wie ihr bei der – meiner Meinung nach Spielberg-würdigen – Kamerafahrt sehen konntet.😁 Wie auch beim letzten Mal mit dem Hintergrund, dass ich keine Lust auf „Larf“ und irgendwelche Popcorn-Nugs habe und ich ja qua Gesetz eh nur eine gewisse Menge besitzen darf. So spare ich mir Trimmarbeit und muss am Ende nicht so viel des Endproduktes vernichten, um auf diese zu kommen.😊 Die Damen zeigen nun, bis auf die Medellin Fog, deutliche Zeichen der Blüte. Allen voran die Pink Guava F1 Fast – sie macht ihrem Namen alle Ehre. Bei ihr mache ich mir um ein zeitnahes Finish am wenigsten Sorgen. Bei den anderen wird es da doch etwas spannender. Aber auch dafür habe ich mir für dieses Jahr etwas überlegt. Ich werde den gesamten Balkon mit Gewächshausfolie überdachen, um zumindest der direkten Feuchtigkeit ein Schnippchen zu schlagen. Das Ganze wird sicherlich mit etwas Gefummel verbunden sein, aber ich bin einfach nicht bereit, schon wieder die Hälfte der Arbeit von vielen Wochen der grünen Tonne zu übergeben.😅 Um die Pflanzen auch von innen zu stärken, habe ich bereits vor Eintritt der Blüte eine weitere Vorsichtsmaßnahme getroffen, welche ich ganz klassisch vergessen hatte, euch mitzuteilen. Diese besteht aus einem bakterienreichen Foliar-Spray, welches es Schimmelpilzen erschweren soll, sich auf den Pflanzen zu etablieren. Besonders effektiv sind hierbei die Stämme von Bacillus velezensis und Bacillus subtilis. Diese können die Pflanzenoberfläche besiedeln und Botrytis dadurch Platz und Nährstoffe streitig machen, gleichzeitig pilzhemmende Stoffe produzieren und teilweise die pflanzliche Abwehr stimulieren. Des Weiteren würde ich jetzt weiterhin eine Dosis Monosilikat verabreichen. Warum „würde“? Da ein Schussel namens ich beim letzten Mal die Flasche nur halbherzig zugeschraubt hat und diese mir umgefallen ist, hat sich der restliche Inhalt auf meinem Boden verflüchtigt. Ja, an solchen Tagen muss man stark an seinem Anger Management arbeiten. Mehr sage ich nicht. 😅 Und da wir schon bei schlechten Nachrichten sind, hier doch gleich noch eine: Mir ist bei der Entlaubungsaktion leider ein kompletter Ast der Ocean Storm abgebrochen. Was doch langsam zu einer traurigen Tradition meiner Berichte wird.😬 Nun ja … The show must go on, also Tape drum und weitermachen. Mit diesem, doch nicht ganz so positiven Ende will ich es heute mal belassen. Damit wir hier aber nicht ganz so negativ rausgehen, noch ein Wort der Zuversicht: Im Vergleich zum letzten Run stehen wir wirklich sehr, sehr gut da. Ich bin zuversichtlich, dass wir aus den bisherigen Fehlern gelernt haben und dieses Mal das Ding sauber zu Ende bringen.😇💪 PS: In den nächsten Reports kommen dann auch wieder die Strain-Namen zu den Bildern. Wachsen soweit super, kein Top Dressig kein anderen Dünger sonst verwendet, Erde einmal angereichert und läuft Super sind Glücklich. Hätte tatsächlich nicht gedacht das die das Zelt nochmal so füllen würden wie beim Run zuvor mit 6 Pflanzen aber da haben wir es… werden morgen von unten nochmal leicht entlaubt ansonsten war’s das bis zur Ernte. Week 2 of flower and the pistils are starting to shoot out. I've been watering pretty consistent every other day, F drinks a lot and gets thirsty the quickest. Clones are pretty big and the light is dimmed down a bit, I'll transplant them up to I think 3 gallon pots soon Lollipped a good 6 inches off the bottom of the plants over the 2 cuttings and they look good and healthy, in the next coue weeks they will start getting into their full development.

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending on my photos and cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. Also all close up pics of the Critical+ are with the lights off and flash on. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. 👉 This is the first staggered harvest I have done. The highest parts of the plant were definitely ahead of each lower level of flowers. So it made sense to give this a try. Also, there were so many sugar leaves in the flowers I knew I was facing some major trim time. So I started at the highest branch of colas and that was the main stem…what I call the Queen cola, on April 4. I was also very busy with work and life so I spaced out each successive branch by a day or two…or so. To harvest I would cut each major branch from the top down. There would be one major cola ( and best specimen) on each branch. That cola was trimmed so it was still on its stem and then weighed. I recorded the weight of the cola then assigned it a letter, put on a clothes pin, then hung on a rack. I would weigh the cola over a couple of days till it had loss 75% of it wet weight. I would cut from the stem for the final weight, then place in a jar with a hygrometer. I would monitor the jars and if they were above 62% I would take off the jar lid, then replace when humidity was back down. When stable I put a humidity pack in some of the jars, but not all, just to see if I can observe a difference after the cure. 👉 My last trim penance was served on May 1. Almost a full month. The first cola harvested is already being tested. I did a close trim and removed as many sugar leaves as possible. I think I spent over 10 hours in total. So glad I chose to stagger the job. I trimmed any frosty sugar leaves over a trim tray with a screen for a bottom. I also scissored a bunch of the larf buds into small bits to add to the trim. I made a nice small wafer of just trichomes with no plant matter. Very nice, sweet stuff. I’m letting the large pile of trimmed sugar leaves dry out till crispy and will hand grind them over that screen and press the kief produced into pucks. It’s green and has lots of plant material with it…but its still sweet, and a very nice topper to a bong or joint. 👉 There were a lot of nice buds of what I call secondary flowers. Those were on secondary branch ends mostly. These buds were placed on a dry net. After 24hrs, I placed them in a paper bag. When they had lost 75% of their wet weight they were put into a jar with a hydrometer. Almost everything that wasn’t a branch end flower was put in the larf bin. Lots of larf. I didn’t weight any of it dry and just the wet weight from a couple of branches. I plan on making bubble hash and extracts (oil and tincture) with the larf. Of course planning and doing are two separate issues. I have acquired all the proper gear and done lots of research. I am also experimenting with the drying environment. In the past I was using a direct fan to oscillate directly on the buds for 24 hrs. At 24hrs the buds were put in bags and also kept them in direct wind. After a couple of branch sets I decided to stop oscillating the fan and make the breeze indirect. I still put the buds in bags after 24 hrs and kept the wind indirect. It took a few days to get to 25% doing it this way, as opposed to 2 days in bags with direct wind. The slower is supposed to be better, but risks moldy buds. I’m not doing everything the same way so I’m curious to see if there are perceptible differences in jar aroma and taste. To further complicate things to eye-roll status, The staggered harvest should have improved the lower level of flowers to the same ripeness. I can honestly tell buds from the same plants taken at different levels. The lower ones are noticeably weaker. I won’t start testing to see if there is improvement till the flowers are at least 4 months cured.

Well I was saying on the last update 7-10 days to go, but four days later and here we are at harvest! Checked in this morning and saw they were fading hard, most of the fan leaves dried up and dead. Checked trichomes and yup they were ready to go! Guess she was in a hurry to join her friends in the dry tent hahaha. Cleaned up nice and easy and broke down for drying. Looks like a pretty nice yeild, can't wait to get her dried and cured to sample. Smells amazing hope the taste is the same. Buds turned out to be a little less dense than I thought they would be, but still nice structure and for a great yeild even after trim. Just means more high grade trim for the dry sift! This has to be the most lemon smelling and tasting strain that I've ever tried. Soon as you open the bag it's like cutting a fresh lemon, such a strong clean smell! Buzz knocks you down and helps you end your day. Super relaxed and not a care or pain on the world. Pretty happy overall with this oneGot 540g buds and 187g trim.

La resina aumenta de forma visible y las flores comienzan a mostrar más carácter, mientras la canopia sigue trabajando de forma uniforme aprovechando bien la luz. Las hojas grandes siguen cediendo parte de su energía hacia las flores, algo natural en este punto del ciclo, mientras los aromas empiezan a intensificarse dentro del armario. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

They were showing signs of Ca and Mg deficiencies and I increased my CalMg additive at 350ppm before I add my base nutrients. They seem to love it.

Hey folks week 2 update. The girls took a thrashing from good ol mother nature. Storm came through with 130kph gusts! Inane that the girls survived. Some of the girls do show stress/stunted from the windstorm but im sure they will bounce back in a week or so. No water at all this week since the storm brought us allot of rain. Just a touch of lst this week.

Week 11 started I think that the plant is near to the end, maybe a couple of weeks or less. During this week I will start to check trichomes, my objective is to have 50-50 milky and amber. This will be the last week with nutrients. D71: changed the water to the pot, added 30ml bloom, 15ml micro, 10ml pH-. D73: first trichomes check today: 40 crystal, 50 milky, 10 amber. Added four liters of tap water. D74: added 3 liters of tap water with 5ml of pH- D75: added 3 liters of tap water.

Week 7 of Veg for these beautiful Apple Betty ladies! It was a stressful week for the girls but they made it❤️ Day 44 - I decided the girls had outgrown their 2 gallon nursery pots and were ready to move on. After a quick cleanup of the stems close to the base, they were ready to go. I like to keep my soil in a Rubbermaid bin, either with a fan lightly blowing, or the exhaust line from my tent blowing at it. Since I started doing this, I have not had any gnats or pests in my grows, of course with regular cleanings and IPM…my mix is Promix HP with about 20% worm castings added to it. This time around, I decided to use some Dynomyco to increase the mycorrhiza count of my Promix HP. This will increase root development by adding all kinds of interconnected webbing and allow for better uptake of nutrients overall. Within an hour or so all of the ladies were transplanted ❤️ x2 in 7 gallon fabric pots, and 1 in a 5 gallon fabric pot ( the 5 gallon will finish in my 2x4 tent) Once the girls bounce back and take hold of their new forever pot, I will be setting up my custom “floating” SCROG net and allowing them some time to get bent and tucked all nice snug before I flip to a flower schedule. They are at 4 nodes but i noticed the plants are almost dwarf I just added nutes hopefully they will get robust they are really healthy though. I lifted my light a bit so they can get a little height. We will Seeeee 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔. Topped and conducted LST added worm castings as well.
