streching started . they didn't show any sign of stress after going from outdoor to indoor.. from this week streching should be more visible... first pistols showing on F1 versions.

18cm vertical growth this week. She's not very tall.... Not sure what I've done wrong. 😐 Slowing down now we are entering flowering. She is VERY bushy!!!!!! Very short internode length. I've cut the big fan leaves off the main stem to allow light to penetrate her lower leaves!!! I never usually do this, but she is so bushy they had to go.

Day 42 Sept 9th - Keeping tent way cleaner from now on, still have more to do. These ladies are getting very bushy. I can and need to defoliate them again this week ASAP. I am impressed with how they turned out so far, but allowing more light penetration during the 3rd week of flower is going to hopefully get me thicccc colas up and down the branches. Day 43 - defoliated and lollipopped :) Day 45 sept 13th - Switched light schedule back to a 20/4. 10 AM off, 2 PM on. Dehumidifier working flawlessly, cool temps all week as fall rolls around. Plants are doing very well as I prepare them for mid flower :) Day 47 sept 15th - Pistils are poppin like crazy, looks like these gals responded very very well to the defoliation. Day 72 - Trimmed em abit, took off some of the lower stuff.... they are happy.... haha nothing else to say, normal watering, the flush helped abit i think... Day 75 - UV bug zapper LED, posted afew pics of nighttime with the led, it's killed 10+ knats in the first day.... seems to be working.... :) Day 77 second day and it's killed alot more.... i lowered it, below the pot level... its got 3 modes- just led, just uv trap, and both uv trap / 10w led.... ...15+ gnats in 2 days.... *update, seems to work best with just the trap on, and led off, during night 12hr cycle..... i'm abit surprised, i didn't think it would work at all, see how the second trap works when it arrives..... 😎

So she 'only' grew 3cm this week. That's not bad considering what she looked like a week ago!! 😭 She's pushed out a lot of new green growth this week. I hope she's also building a strong root system below ground. 💪

AVT is coming along nicely. Especially considering the abuse I put her through a few weeks ago. Buds are developing nicely and starting to get frosty 😃. I kind of dig the bonsai'ish shape she has near the top due to my over HST'ing. There will be no more abuse to this girl, only some defoliation as needed. AVT is front-left in the group pics.

She completed the first week of flowering happily and she keeps stretching. Trailers net added to level the canopies.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Starting to find there feet/roots now

The NYC Diesel’s starting flowering a few days ago. The Northern Lights Auto is about to start and in a couple of days I’m switching the light schedule from 18/6 to 12/12 to kick the White Widow into flowering. I just gave them a 2nd round of Gnatrol treatment and will start with the FloraNova Bloom on the next feeding. I’m still running on 245W CMH and should crank it up to full 315W when I got to 12/12. We’re going through a heat wave so hopefully it should cool down by then.

Day 94 Harvesting and making Hash with the cut leaves. 5weeks of veg and 9,5weeks of flowering Pot size 6L

Buds are growing, all levels are stable so started to remove some fanleaves. Still 2-3 weeks to harvest so when I cut on a daily basis I believe there are no fanleaves left at harvest time. Then I can just cut them and put them in the drying net. Turned down CO2 to 600PPM so they can rest a bit... not sure what will happen now.

This week I will be increasing nutrients, continue with leaves tucking and perhaps will install scrog net by the end of the week. Wishing you all a wonderful week ✨🍀✨ 06/11 day 29 Watered 500ml each pot and sprayed with water and fish mix solution. 08/11 day 31 Girls started growing faster. Good few cm in to all of the directions in one night. Watered again with 500ml each pot as belive that they need just a bit more time for the first runoff experience. 11/11 day 34 It was a Spa day for the 🍌💜👊 girls. Full package; 1st - removed 7-10 fan leaves from each girl. 2nd - LST on few longer branches 3rd - shower with fish mix and water solution. 4rd - Watering 500ml for Athena and approx 300ml for Xena. 12/11 What a great and a bit busy week with my girls. Perfect response on yesterday selective defoliation and stretching. No signs of any stress.
