I dumped the water and added new today with nutrients. Two plants are looking really healthy. I'll focus on these now and let the others slowly grow on the side. The one I transplanted late is dead. Will update more as it develops. UPDATE: Largest plant is drooping a lot. I'm assuming the auto-waterer over-watered again. Avoid this flower pot. I emptied the water and am letting it dry out a bit before watering again. UPDATE: The auto-waterer soaked the large plant. I've poked holes in the medium and lowered the light to just above the plants to hopefully help dry it out quickly. Also have a fan on it. UPDATE: The plant dried out enough that it's looking healthy again. Yay!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ==> Comments From Other "Living Soil/Super Soil" Growers Are Always Welcome <== ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ INTRODUCTION I am very excited about this grow as it is the first time with a new setup. I have added a new light and am going to try a super soil grow for the first time. I have a Mephisto Genetics Double Grape between paper towels and waiting to sprout. The space is about 18 inches by 24 inches. The ceiling slopes down, so I don't have much room at the rear of the space. For medium I am using Fox Farms Happy Frog augmented with perlite. The bottom third contains 0.5 pounds autoflower blend of a "super soil" additive from Nature's Living Soil. (https://amzn.to/2PUHc6k) I am using three-gallon cloth pots. The light is a Horticulture Lighting Group 135W QB V2 R-Spec LED kit. NUTRIENTS Tap water pH’d to 6.5. pH lowered using 1.5 TBS unsulfured blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar. One-half TBS of vinegar lowered pH about 0.5 points. The medium was very dry. Slowly watered to allow the moisture to be equal throughout the soil ISSUES My while I have yet to put the seed in the dirt, I am concerned about temperatures. They are currently running at about 86F. I would like to get it down to about 80F. DAILY LOG DAY -2: STARTED SEED * Started seed in my traditional manner. Between paper towels soaked in 5% bleach solution, 0.25 tsp/0.5 Cup water. Temp 82F. DAY -1: ACTION *The smallest of tip has appeared. Will put in soil in a few hours. Day 0: SEED PLANTED. * Refrigerator filtered water. pH 6.5. 1 cup (250ml) added very carefully. * Covered with humidity dome. * Light from Soil: 32.5” * Temperature: 82F DAY 1: SPROUT The sprouted seed has shown itself above the soil. A nice Christmas morning surprise. Now I can start counting the days. * Watered with about 200ml of water at pH 6.5. Used apple cider vinegar to lower the tap water pH. * I was pleased to find that my tap water does not contain chloramine. I was reading bad things about chloramine and "living soil." It can kill beneficial microorganisms. All I did was ask my water company and they replied saying "we found no mention of chloramine use in the system:" Just what I wanted to hear. * After looking at other diaries using 250W LEDs, I moved my light down to 25 inches. DAY 2: NO WATER FOR YOU * No watering today. There is plenty of water in the soil and I want the roots to stretch and work. * Working on increasing the humidity and getting more control over the temperature. DAY 3: WATER PLANT, NOT POT. ADDED MYCORRHIZAE. * Following the GrowWeedEasy watering suggestions for Kind Soil * 500ml water at 6.5 pH, around the plant and not across the full 3-gallon bag. * The fan gently moves the seedling to keep it strong. * Had minor unexpected run-off. I hope to avoid that in the future. * Added 1/8 tsp Great White Mycorrhizae dissolved in 100 ml of 50 ml water/50 ml molasses mix. Did not pH as it is such a small amount of solution compares to the watering earlier today. DAY 4: NO WATER, NO PICTURE * Nothing really new. So no reason for a picture. * The soil is dry on top, but the bottom of the pot is still damp. So I will watch it, but I don't expect to water today. * Adding a small intake fan has dropped the temps to about 82F, I think they can live with that. * A humidifier arrives tomorrow and I think that will be my last step to improve the environment. DAY 5: 500ml WATER, LOOKING GOOD * The plant is looking good. The second set of true leaves has a bend, but nothing to worry about. DAY 6: 500ml WATER. NEW HUMIDIFIER * It wasn't really necessary to water today, but I did simply to stay on the schedule I am using. * Given the lightness of the soil and the moving air, I don't anticipate any problems. * Added a humidifier yesterday evening. It's bringing the humidity up, but I need to keep the space closed and I'm a bit concerned about having to provide it with distilled water frequently. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WEEK ONE IN REVIEW ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * Watered with 750 ml pH's tap water. Watered slowly to avoid any runoff. * The plant is looking very healthy. It looks as if the roots are really starting to work as the plant is darker green. * Balancing temperature and humidity is tricky, but I think I will be able to get it stabilized with a bit more work. * Target Relative Humidity: Seedlings - 65-70; Vegging - 40-70; Flowering - 40-50 ==> Beginning Next Week I Will Only Post Twice A Week, Mid-week And End Of The Week. <==
Hi! In this diary I will grow 5 Sativa and Indica dominant Auto Feminized Strains: Sour Orange Auto Feminized Seeds (2 seeds.) By The Bakery Seed Co. Sour Orange Auto Feminized Seeds are a cross of the famous Sour Tangie and the Bakery’s in house Ruderalis. Also a 80% sativa dominant strain with 56 to 70 day flower period. Tested at 17% THC this genetic is highly stable and the Bakery are very happy with the results. This Auto Feminized seed can be cultivated indoors as well as outdoors but definitely prefers a slightly warmer climate to gain the best terpene profile possible. An uplifting effect with a sweet and sour aroma of tangerines. This auto flower seed is another great addition to the Bakery Seed Co’s Automatic Range Auto Critical Orange Punch Seeds By Dutch Passion. Auto Critical Orange Punch Seeds are Dutch Passions first Critical Autoflower. A cross of (Grandaddy Purps x Orange Bud) x XXL Auto Kritical Bilbo, creating an easy strain to cultivate. Expect a full life cycle of 75 days from sprout to harvest with impressive XXL yields. She thrives with 20 hours of light and can grow up to 70-100cm indoors. Certain phenotypes can flower for an extra week or so to gain the XXL yields! Sweet skunk aromas with a hint of rich Afghan hash. Sour Stomper Auto Feminized Seeds are an example of what careful selection can achieve with breeding. A fruity style pheno of the Sour Crack female crossed with the Grapestomper OG male from Gage Green then crossed with ruderalis by Mephisto. This 50/50 Indica Sativa hybrid has a great stretch contributing to large yields. Due to cooler conditions late in flower, this dense canopy can produce beautiful blues and purples. A great genetic for indoor and outdoor cultivation and all finished and ready to harvest in just 65 to 70 days. This hybrid is popular with extracts and has Grape aroma in bloom. Auto Lemon Zkittle Feminized Seeds are made from quality USA genetics. It is an Overall Highlife Cup Winner 2018!!! It has won 1st prize in Sativa category and also was awarded the Overall Highlife Winner Trophy. Lemon Zkittle Auto retains its high THC and yields even in automatic form. Due to the lineage, this hybrid is very simple to cultivate and a great choice for beginners. Fruit and skunk aromas combined with citrus flavors and long-lasting effects. 20 Hour light cycle is recommended as well as a minimum of 75 days from seed. Some phenos can take a week longer to produce the massive yields. Outdoors this variety can take up to 100 days from seed to harvest. With THC levels tested 21% as well as minimum yields of 400g/m2, this automatic hybrid is a great addition to Dutch Passion Automatic range. 24 hours light schedule, 90 percent humidity, trigger spray, no fertilization. 15th of August: Girls are ready for germination, tonight I will place the seeds to be in water at least for 12 hours :) 15th of August: I put the seeds in the water. 16 of August 2019: Seeds are placed between damp paper towel :) 17th of Augsut 2019: All good so far, They are ready to be planted tomorrow;) Day 1: They are in the soil. Hopefully they will come out soon :) 60W LED for 5 plants and the humidity is very high 98 percent. I give 5 ml water a day per plant and plus triggering to keep the humidity very high. All the holes are closed. Day 2: Non of them are out yet but I think by tomorrow it will happen:). Day 3: All out :) Day 5: Sour Stomper and Lemon Zkittle a bit slower but all of them grow nicely. Babies ❤️ Day 6: They are coming! Critical Orange Punch is growing very quick she is already 10 cm but the rest of them are 6-7 cm.
Typical Green Crack harvest, lot of leaves but easy otherwise Lack of tent space really hurt her yield, guessing 25% less due to it Dry weight for Plenty 322 grams nice easy final trim rock hard nugs Two clones follow The clones nearly identical both weigh in at 710 grams wet in dry yield later Clones yielded 287 grams dry
January, 24th. We are entering Week 4 of Vegetation After i started to feed them . Girls look very good. Leaves are sprouting, and they look quite happy. The Temperatures are quite cold for the Ladies. Its only 18 degree. But in this case its very good. Because the Cold slows down the Metabolism of the Plants Thanks again to @Silky_Smooth, for beeing into that EGGHUNT That means, you grow with only 50 g of Soil. In my case its only 25 grams in the Sheeps, and its challenging , but i learn a lot
The CBD started blooming at the end of last week. She's pretty small compared to the Gorilla Cookies, but she's still got a long way to go before harvest. The LST did the trick and I managed to create a nice even canopy. More pics and video's coming up later this week.
Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!
Ladies and gentlemen today is Day 70 and this baby kabul is starting to not be such a baby.. her buds are starting to swell her trichomes are starting to produce bulbs so we are nearing the last couple weeks before chop and I will say that these are some hearty genetics as you can see she is quite a little plant and has taken a lot of training very well with very little medium to work with equaling small root zone... Feeding is every morning every night to run off because she's a hungry girl and of course we're in a 30 oz cup with about 28 oz of dirt.. I have high hopes for this one thank you DIvine seeds your genetics are amazing 👏 .. Good luck to all contestants in the contest into everyone else happy growing ✌️😎
In to week 2 of flower, screen starting to fill in nicely. Nothing much else to report, everything looking healthy with no signs of any deficiencies, really stepped up a gear with growth now. I’ll be doing some more tucking to fill the screen completely over the next few days, final defoliation and clean up below the screen next week and that should be the training finished till harvest.
I'm expecting at least another week on the hubba bubba as it's getting nice and thick, and I haven't noticed any new pistols form in a few days. The ABxRKO is still trucking, and it makes me excited for the next drop that tree1four did. It smells heavy on the burger side, but not super meaty. It has a slightly sweet gassy meaty smell to it.
It's done...another one chopped. What a challenge this one. If you follow my grows, you know I love Royal Queen Seeds. I consistently have the best result with RQS strains, plus their services are always great. That being said I had much expectation for this Strain. What can I say... for the good point, it smells very sweet, fruity and yields giant long cola, fuuuulll of flower, very sticky and faty faty. . So densily packed that comes with some issues. First its always demanding for more K, a lot of top leaves yellowing that was hard to control. A long flower period for an auto and it suffered a lot with bud rot ( white mold, not the black one) It was a first to me. Tried everything from cutting parts to h202 direct on top of the damaged areas but with no success. That being said I've lost a lot of flower because of it and had to cut at least a week sooner than I wanted.. I will face this challenge again in a near future. The plant without the root ball weighed 1.2kg. It's drying know, so let's wait to see what we got... Overall one of the most productive plants I've tried, as one of the biggest buds I've seen in these colas. Thank you James and RQS for all the support. You guys are great and a major contribution for the cannabis world.
6 week started in July, 8. In this week i incorporate some CO2.The plants look great.The tallest plant is a syrup buddha, its weird because she is one week younger.I know that i said that i will do another diarie for the younger plants but im lazy, and the other plants are faster than the Lemons, so they are kind of in the same week. I keep feeding them with 1/2 of the snoop's premium nutrients bloom and the other half with snoop's premium nutrients grow, following the recommendations of the product. Also i incorporate Genesis from Agrobeta (pictures in the 5 week).
Lemon-lime, pinesol, gassy, chemicals on the back terps. Grew well, stacked tight, dense and kushy nugs. Ready for harvest on the end of week 9. Could push to 10 weeks. Doubles in size when flipped to flower cycle. Grew 3 girls of this cross I made. Baby Yoda female to a Red Zkittles male. Even the smallest one doubled in size when stretched and had the biggest main cola and had more of a Pinesol chemmy terp. The tallest pheno had more medicine and had the lime terps going.
