Day 56 - 29/05/2025
I'm considering this water as part of week 9 and did it fit the flush schedule correctly aligned with my required dates.
As Mango Cream and Strawberry Cola 1 are going to the last couple weeks, I decided to start the flushing process over them. They already stopped the bulking phase and we concentrate the next weeks on terpenes and flavours development.
Mango Cream buds are pretty dense like a rock. The Strawberry Cola has 70% of Mango Cream density. Pretty well too.
I bought the Athena Fade to run a complete nutrient line following the Blended program + Fade. Let's see the results.
On Strawberry Cola 2, as it's one week late because was one week later to soil, I keep following the feed chart as well. I reduced the NPK nutrients and increased the PK solution for bulking.
By my schedules, I'll harvest Mango Cream and Strawberry Cola 1 at June 12th and Strawberry Cola 2 at June 19th.

Day 59 - 01/06/2025
They are going so well and smelling like crazy.
The last couple days my city was impacted by a heat wave and the temperature increased as fuck. I needed to remove the carbon filter to improve the air extraction.
They are super frosty and I'm anxious to harvest them. It's planned for 12th June and the late Strawberry Cola for 19th.
I was roughly enjoy a hangover when I was watering them and I watered with week nutes schedule. My fault, so bad. But hopefully they will hold until next watering where I should water only with 1/5 of schedule just to not strip the nutrientes from the soil and maintain the flush schedule reducing nutrients.

I don't know why I got this run off EC, it doesn't make sense due the previous EC Run Off. forgot to clean the tray and I think there was minerals solidified because I got 6.7 on run off.

Ok, so bigger news this week, I got rid of one of the plants in the tent as it was an auto vs fast flower :/ and I performed a bunch of LST and some Defoliation to all the plants. This plant did not need a lot of defoliation if any at all. I just trimmed some of the lower nodes off as they would not get all that much light once it started to stretch and tied back some of its branches so it was a bit more even. The growth pattern on this plant vs the others in the tent this aorund is completely different. its so floppy and bendy, I have a feeling I am going to need to break a lot of branches come flower time to keep it from sky rocketing to the top of the tent. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week.
Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through.

This plant has been doing great, when I am in working with it it releases lovely peppery notes into the air. It has a super short compact structure I'm curious to see what it will be like in stretch.
Still giving them a 2:1 or 2.5:1 grow vs bloom nutrient. Its helping with some of the pink stems from last week. Feeding strength is up .2 point to reach 900ppm or aorund 1.8EC will leave it here fro the remainder of Veg. Prob will do for 2 more weeks then flip to flower as I just topped them and want to give them some time to recover.
NPK ratio of 7-7-14 1:1 equal parts grow/bloom.
Grow=8-4-15
Bloom=6-10-14
Boost=1-15-30 "not yet used it yet"
Also took some clones from the plants as well, took two main cuttings from each plant, forgot to do the one so its not shown in the first video up the updated clone pics later in the week. If any of these impress me then the clones will go outside and grow there all year for a extra special harvest. Or I'll give them out to some friends and family maybe a little gorilla gardening project, but I will wait before getting ride of them all as I'm still kicking my self in the ass over the Blue Cindy loss. really liked that plant and wish its clones I gave out where still aorund.
Lights doing well. The V1 spectrum is good on the medic grow mini sun-2's 240w. No issues so far, dimmed at 80% till flower is initiated then up to 100%, Will test out 13/11 I think as the schedule to give them some more photons for an extra hour vs 12/12

my dry and cure style is this:
4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month.
buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect
growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th)
the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

2/8 Week 13 !
Her drinking is falling, almost a quart less today.
Moving into flush range as the hairs are beginning to curl and seeing some small showings of amber.
Reducing the Bloom nuets to 5ml until I see its time to change again, increasing PK slightly.
Prob two days then go to full PK (15ml) to take her into flush.
Plan a fast flush with an agent to speed things along.
2/9 Fed 5ml/gal CT Bloom A/B 12ml/gal Peak
Another day
2/10 Leaving feeding as is, building nicely leaving the plant positioned as is think this is the best compromise between all the plants in the tent.
Not sure how long this will go at this point, but not cutting her short for anything.

2/12 Beginning to back off the PK leaving the CocoTek at a low dose. Plan to have the PK gone in a day or so but leaving the CT until flush.
Just following some new ideas on using PKs and Finishers.
Pics and vid of buds using a couple of filters just trying to show these two foot long buds without messing with the dark cycle.

2/13 Pics that you can actually see!
Due to some issues, one is on this grow (I need to increase potency on Tara), changing out the HPS for MH for a while, may finish under it depends on the other grow.
Looking at the trics I have decided to drop the PK and go to normal levels of Bloom nuets until flush.
Continuing to keep her cleaned out as much as needed so light gets all the way down.

Realize now how much time switching the lights to 12-12 has added to Tara's finishing time.
Had no real choice but its a point learned.

Day 14: all well so far with only the #3 Gorilla looking a little odd still, like she has lost a limb!.
They look as though they have been settling in well with no colour issues or signs of burn from the soil mix. Not a lot to report yet as such early days. catch you next time.

Took away some more big fan leaves and tucked a few, exposed some more bud sites 👀👀🙌
I've still been weighing down the stems best I can, slowly bending them into shape but trying not to snap any 🤞
I'm thinking of doing 1 more week in veg and then flipping them to the dark side! Lol
We got the shape we need now
Time for 1 last light defoilation at the end of the week and then do a PH water Flush before flowering.
Can't wait to see these pop!

Going really well, getting big colas! Had to do a lot of defoliation as they were really bushy, blocking air & light & also starting to rub up against each other &
also sweating leaves.
Removed a lot of popcorn growth & lower growth that wasn't getting enough light, this created more space for air& light around the colas. Super sticky & very smelly.
Gorilla cookies is getting close to finishing up.

not dying but very fragile. She will be okay I think.

Mealybug, so far I see only 1
found some info from Google
this can be a problem with infestation
Treatment : I clean off the stem area
with water mix with drop of alcohol and
washing liquid.

Beutiful hard diesel, she's growing super fast and looks like she's even happier after the transplant to her definitive 11l pot, let's see how this wonderful lady keeps developing, she's being fed with nothing but water since I grow using Florian's living organics (living soil blend) tomorrow this wonderful lady is gonna be flipped into flower finally.
As said this lady has been flipped into flower under the light schedule 12-12 on February 15th so now we're gonna se a beautiful stretch before actual flower starts
