This week went very well, the Cream Mandarine Auto doubled in size from 12" to 24" which is exactly what I was hoping for. I think I have about one week left of vertical growth, then I will be transitioning her to flower nutrients. All the training and toppings are done, so just minor defoliation from here on out. DAY 21 FLOWERING: Well it had to happen eventually!!! . I knew it would come to this point.....I had to be brutal and practical as I evicted the Gorilla cookies and the mutant Northern light to a different space... I now have the #1 Northern lights and the Grandaddys Mimosa directly under the XS1500 to really develop them both to the best I can. The light has done a great job developing all 5 to this point and I do think it could have finished them all at a push but , I think seeing how it can grow 2 auto plants in a 2x2 space will be worth the change of plan. I am impressed with this little light and never expected such a growth rate . I really would love to test their new p4000 to see what that beast can do. The northern lights has really worked hard this week on her bud structuring , she looks like she will be stacking her colas on each limb , just the way we like em in the space I have. I did take a little more weak lower growth out of her to focus on the stronger mains as we have hit the point of no more defol . She wont regrow leaf after this point now so the ones remaining will be all she has to power the photosynthesis during flowering. Sugar leaves do not do the same work as the fan leaves and with them being autos , I feel we need the extra boost more than in a photoperiod run. She looks like stretch has finished now too so her size is nice and stocky so she wont need to transfer nutes too far from the roots either. Grandaddys mimosa is also really developing some nice looking golf ball buds all over. She looks like she will be a long cola girl too which is perfect to keep the canopy and light distribution as even as possible with the Northern lights too. She smells a little fruity already and the hint of her Mimosa lemon father is also really evident. So far so good . The 2 Gorilla cookies and the other northern lights are all looking great after being grown under this light and I will include their harvest data in the diary at the end to avoid the diary going haywire. PE will be harvested this week, super excited! Trichomes are just about where I want them, just waiting on a little more amber. PT is chugging along, looking like she’s going to have some larger buds this time! WW is still mostly white in her pistils, she will take longer than PE to finish up. FBT2402 had a rough life. She had mites the whole grow. She was already flowering when I figured it out. So I could not treat the flower then. She has a strong piney, citrus, and sweet smell. This week the Epsilon F1 is showing what true modern F1 genetics can do vigorous growth, perfect uniformity, and resin production on another level. The structure has filled out beautifully: strong central cola supported by multiple side branches, each one stacked with dense, symmetrical buds. The plant has remained compact yet incredibly efficient under my 220W LED, proving that these F1s know how to use light and nutrients perfectly. Trichome development has gone wild this week the buds are now completely covered in frost, from the main tops down to the lower nodes. Most trichomes are still clear to milky, which means we’re right in the middle of the ideal bulking phase. The pistils have started to darken and curl inward, while the calyxes are swelling fast, gaining weight each day. The Overdrive and CO₂ bag combo seem to have given an extra boost in density and terpene formation. Aroma-wise, the tent is filled with a complex mix of citrus, pine, and herbal notes, slightly spicy but still fresh. It’s a very refined and balanced scent not overpowering, but clearly high in terpene content. Every time I check the buds, the stickiness is unreal the resin literally glues your fingers together. This week I kept the feeding stable, using the full Advanced Nutrients line with Big Bud as the main bloom booster, and next week I’ll gradually transition toward Overdrive as we approach the ripening stage. The leaves remain healthy and green with slight fading at the bottom exactly what I want to see at this point. Overall, the Epsilon F1 is performing like a true next generation autoflower: fast, strong, consistent, and extremely frosty. If the swelling continues at this pace, it’s shaping up to be one of the heaviest yielders of this run, combining efficiency with top tier resin quality.

Impressive how this plant managed to grow despite the few hours of light .. I guess what it could do with a better season than this year (there has been a lot of rains) and in a place where it grows with constant light.. anyway I am very happy with her, I would also say proud of how the growth went. In the last few weeks, as you can see, the plant has suffered an attack by caterpillars that have eaten some of its leaves in a short time, the plant has remained very strong anyway. I tried to remove them manually until they disappeared completely Before proceeding with the cut, I put the plant in the dark for 48 hours, further stressing it by shocking the roots with ice cubes. I've never used these two methods, but I've heard a lot about them. some say it is useless while others say that these methods work to increase the production of trichomes and terpenes.
