Let's roll it's week 6 😎 To start off, I want to sum up the last weeks. The conditions have been changing throughout all this grow. Overall it was more often sunny then not, so that's a plus. The negative side was the absence of consistency 😂 There were a lot of days with sun, rain and spicy winds. Day 35 The Team has grown a lot, so I'm doing portraits with 3 different perspectives and a profile for each plant. Springbrunnen will be shot tomorrow, Rocky in 4 days cause she's 4 days younger. But Zilla was the first to pop anyways so I think it's halfway even. Weather is 18/50 on average with 3h of sun today Day 36 Shooting Springbrunnen today. I couldn't convince the sun to come out at afternoon so the lighting is not the same but I want to shoot them at same age. Lots of winds and rain today. Day 37 Today winds hit heavy and I made a little video for all the MMA fans out there.. Watch the video (Zilla at the top is the ref) Joe rogan voice "Rocky closes the distance and starts a huge left-right-headbutt combo to the body of Springbrunnen. Nice body movement in the defense.. OOUH but she felt it, she's tumbling! But now back on solid feet..." Day 38,39,40, 41 Rainy days bros, through the shelter they get wet but not too much. Everyday 2h of sun on average. Hit buy a little hail and storm at Day 41 but they're STRONG! ZILLA (Barney's Farm Gorilla Z Auto) Height: 49cm Appearance: Tree-like Scent: Strong, sweet/candy, hint of woody Infects: Tiny mildew on bottom leaf in week 4, now healthy, handful of flys near the cola. Nutrition: Thirsty, could take a lot more nutes I guess Qualities: Super thick and strong, almost like a tree, intense deep green. Adjustments: daily stretch mid leaves to prepare for leaf tucking, increase fertilizer to 75% of recommended dosage. SPRINGBRUNNEN (Kannabia Kickass Auto) Height: 48cm Appearence: slim, sharp the genetics original name was Bruce Lee and that hits it 100%! (her main stem is half the mass compared to Zilla) Scent: very strong, lemon, pungent and a hint of sweet Infects: Tiny mildew on bottom leaf in week 4, now healthy, handful of flys near the cola Nutrition: medium thirsty, didn't want a lot of nutes especially in veg Qualities: good leaf production, fast Adjustments: watch out to NOT confuse Zillas feed withhers 😂 Leaftucking mid branches ROCKY Height: 56cm Appearance: lanky, top heavy, special growth structure (Cobra like) Scent: low, "standard" weed smell Infects: flys, bugs and more I just discovered Nutrition: low in both water & nutes Qualities: very flexible, moved her head with the sun when she was young. She faced the hardest conditions when she was young and it seems like it took a long time to recover. As she may like it hotter according to her origin, it's a miracle that she is that healthy now. In terms of grow speed she's the slowest. Adjustments: get rid of her insects & check her more often.

We had a nice jump in height this week; still drinking loads of water every day. One of the plants has this wierd mutated limb that I have been watching progress, kinda interesting. Just chugging along, second week of flower, everything looks to be on schedule so far. 🔮

// Day 78 I put her inside. I know, that's cheating, but I do not care right now. The weather will be abyssymal in the next days and I do not want to keep her just in my room at the balcony door because she stinks amazing, but I can't let her stink up the apartment. And she is pretty late in flower, I really want her to work on the buds, let them thicken up and I just want to enjoy the outcome in the end. This grow is already incredibly long for an autoflower and she still needs 2-3 more weeks, when looking at her bud sites. I don't want to harvest trash buds after investing 3 to 4 months into a plant. If the weather is good again, she will be back outside. If the weather is trash with rain all day, I'll keep her in the tent. My main concern is her bud development. The sites are huge but the calyxes are just not fattening up. You can see it in the pictures, they're very airy and overall not "sexy" looking, if you know what I mean. I hope that she finishes nicely since this grow went amazing so far. She is an absolute unit and I want her to finish perfectly. Let's see how she developes in the next 14 days. With 78 days, this plant is very old, but I've seen autoflowers getting harvested after 90 days or even 100 days. So I will just keep calm for now and I try to enjoy the last 2-3 weeks of her grow life. // Day 83 She is bulking up nicely. Unfortunately, I needed to remove 1 headbud from a side stem because I saw spider mite webbing... I hate that. The other buds seem clean, in general does this strain have not many pests on it. But they managed to set up a little camp in there so I removed the whole top bud of the side branch.

The smell is very good. A good weight if I consider that I have made some mistakes with Calmag.

These plants are absolutely filling up the 5x5, if they keep it up I may have to remove one. I filled the reservoir with 6 gallons of water at midnight the other night and by noon the next day it was empty. I am putting in 6-7 gallons of water in res at a time and it is typically gone in 12 hours.

looking lovely. Although they still seem small. Not sure how long they will take to finish. They will probably shoot up once they get into the large air pots. Pretty happy with the progress so far though. Meaty main stems. Humidity isn't quite as high as I would like but it's a fair compromise with others flowering. As for superthrive. Does it work? Well I'm not seeing the explosive growth it promised in the root zone. But it's not really a fair trial as they've all had it.

(UPDATE- Apple Strudel got the chop on Day 72) Week 10 starts on Thursday so I'm jumping the gun by a couple of days in terms of uploading as I'm going away. Things are coming along nicely with the Apple Strudel, I can just smell sweet creamy scent with a bit of apple and funnily enough it smells a bit like the old cheese strain from about 20 years ago, very unique, I like it .😁👌🏻 Some purple colours are starting to show too, trichomes are 80/20 cloudy/clear. I'm going to give her another week then she's getting the chop. Will update further once harvested and dried. Thank you for following this journey with me, there's so much more to come, I'm still learning. Peace 🏻 💚

Day 53 Been plain sailing this week. The autopots are flushing the plants nicely, with pH 6.4 eater. I actually turned off the water today as I think once they are dry in a few day I can harvest them.

Five plants were showing deficiencies last weekend, but had just watered so I waited until Wednesday to feed 2 tsp/gal Grow Big.

Bare in mind peeps, I staggered harvested her and took the top half considering my grow space did not allow any light to the bottom half so I harvested half of the plant and have given it to my brother, where he has put her back on nutrients and the lower half popcorn buds are still thriving, even though she has endured 1 week of flushing and 7-8 days in darkness on no nutrients. White pistols are still propping up. The dry buds weight (bearing in mind I only harvested her top half) is at 85 grams! My grow cupboard measured at a height of 170cm/1.7m and a width of 33cm/0.33m BIG SHOUTOUT TO the community and especially @mad_scientist and @SpinnerCaribbean for continuously supporting and assisting me with issues I faced! Without you, this journey would have been a lot more difficult! I cannot wait to start my second grow but cannot commit to one considering I'm in my final year of University and currently knee-deep in January exams! I hope you all enjoy my diary and please do hit me up if you need any assistance!

Stardawg is beatiful.. I’ve grown it in the past and the plant was way smaller.. I think it will be the most yielding plant of this run and looks like may be the best taste too.. I finally managed to move however humidity is pretty high in my new place.. I am trying to put it down, hopefully it will work..

Switched one generic t8 8w led for a t8 9w grow led. Plants have responded well to the change. Will give the plants a few more days before moving them down to the 2nd grow chamber with double the lights. Will leave the small ones in the current chamber until they recover and catch up. USB Desktop fan seems to be too directional. WIll adjust so that the airflow is a bit more uniform.
