I'm continuing to remove the small branches underneath the canopy - more or less stripping the undergrowth, while defoliating around the growth sites that have made it to the canopy surface. I'm unsure of how much more growth to wait for before I send her into flower. Maybe next week? Who knows! Not me! Hah! Happily accepting any advice from any experienced main-liners out there! 😉 She's been super thirsty - I have to add a gallon every few days to keep up! I also started adding some p31 Microbes to the reservoir to see what I can see. 😎

Didn't have a lot of time this week so she missed her waterings for a couple of days, also didn't empty the dehydrator so humidity was up a few days. Installed a second cheap blurple led on the side, but doubt this will really help much. Having some trouble keeping temps up as winter is coming and I dont have a heater in my garage

The flowers grew a little smaller than expected due to my radiator breaking down. The temperature rose to 20°C max during the day and 13°C at night. Obviously this slowed down growth. Fortunately I had a plan B, but I was only able to put it in place once I returned from vacation :/ On the other hand, I actually noticed that as soon as they found the ideal temperature, the fattening resumed as if nothing had happened. This variety is definitely very resistant, it's amazing... Thank you Royal Queen Seeds!!! There you go, this is the home stretch. We are entering week 8 and I have done my last watering with nutrient. From now on, I will water them exclusively with clear water, controlling only the chlorine and Ph. The countdown is on. This is truly the last phase of maturation. Harvesting can now occur anytime between now and 10 days from now! Chuss guys, we'll talk again next week!

The pistils on all plants are getting more and more brown, its time to check the trichomes now. I check with a handheld microscope and they are getting milky, but not yet amber, which means they are ALMOST READY TO HARVEST, but not yet. The amount of crystals produced under the Q6W-Gen.2 LED-lamps from SANlight is astounding, the plants are coated in trichomes! This week I stopped giving any nutrients in order to FLUSH the plants, this is VERY IMPORTANT in order to get a smooth smoke of the dried end-product. The aroma of the plants is VERY STRONG NOW, they smell mouth-watering. The Shiva Skunk has a sweet, musky smell with a fresh citrus note to it, its a delight to smell those plants. The Serious Kush smells EXTREMELY fuely and gassy, like the OG-Kush, but with an amount of buds like the White Russian, its FLABBERGASTING. I cant wait to try those two strains...😎
