Day 77 She has chunked up a bit and put on trichomes. Considerably more than her sister. Watered with 17oz spring water no nutes. Likely the last watering. Gonna check trichomes for % amber and chop on Day 80. Day 78 Buds are dry enough, ready for trim and cure. The whole plant is larf except for two colas. Quite disappointing but it was a crazy grow with lots of curve balls. 1oz trimmed bud off of this. Still have the second plant in the tent so we'll see what we get. When it's ready. Day 79 The remaining plant in this tent is fading out nicely. If I'm honest, this is the first time I've actually experienced this. In the past, I harvested too soon, or thought it was a deficiency. I am watering with plain spring water, top and bottom. Trichome check later today. Trichome Report: 30% clear, 70% cloudy, no amber. Day 83 - Chop Day! Finally chopped the 2nd plant of this grow. She chunked up considerably and is funky. Nothing spectacular stands out, just smells like strong weed. 4.6oz wet. Buds are in the HerbsNow dryer set for 72hrs. Finally took a toke of the first plant. Such a clean smoke. Nice day high. I was stoned but totally functional. Super sticky! Full harvest report coming as soon as this plant is dry.

I love this lady. She's too big to move and get any decent shots but trust me she is a queen Huge regal structure as a kush should be. Flowers are just a mass of sugar and pistil. smells are sweet and citrus in the room atm.. love it. feeds are at 1.8ec no more big fruota left but i hope to get some more asap and re introduce it. makea for some great dense buds. uvb is running twice a day for an hour pwr seaaion. x bars are running at 50% giving an avwrage ppfd of 1005umols. happy days.. thanks for passing by. grow well

This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

Day 36 Grow Diary Entry – Day 36 (Flower Day 16) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Today is Flowering Day 16, and the Sour Frootz ladies are officially deep into the early-to-mid bloom stage. Bud sites are now well-defined, and the pistils are stacking up nicely. The stretch phase has slowed down slightly, giving a good window for structural management. To keep the canopy even and under control, I applied high-stress training (HST) by bending and tucking the taller tops through the SCROG net. I also reduced overall plant height by about 25 cm, evening out the top layer across all four plants. This should help maximize light penetration and bud development across the entire canopy. The plants handled the stress well—no signs of wilting or shock so far. With this structure locked in, the SCROG net is now fully supporting the horizontal spread, allowing more light to reach secondary bud sites. The aroma is intensifying slightly, a sweet, fruity tang starting to build up when brushing against the leaves. Everything is on track. Starting the Empress #2 x Chiquita Banana run in Morocco under greenhouse conditions before moving outdoors later in the season ☀️ Seeds have been prepared and placed into propagation trays, with stable temperature and moisture levels maintained to encourage fast and uniform germination. So we've hit day 49 with the girls! Everyone seems to be happy. The 2 little runts are now the biggest in the crop, they're super stretchy and about a week behind in flowering. I hope to be able to harvest all the plants at once as I plan to dry in my tent, but if I have to do a staggered harvest then, I guess I gotta do it. Nutes are listed above, everything has been working excellent so far. (I may be trying different coco nutes next run, as I'm suspecting the H&G set I'm using has contributed to the stretchiness of the girls.) UPDATE - DAY 51 - 09/01/21 Everything seems to be just fine at this stage in time. the runts are flowering slowly, so i hope they pick up sometime soon. 1 of the plants(the healthiest since day 1) seems to be a week or so ahead in flower. I'm still hoping to chop the whole tent down at the same time (Fingers crossed!). UPDATE - Day 53 - 11/01/21 The girls seem to be happy today. Pheno type 1 ( plant 1 + 2) - Much more bud production than the rest of the plants. pheno type 2 (plant 3 + 4) - runts of the litter are now the stretchiest out of the lot Pheno type 3 (remainder of plants) are inbetween pheno 1 & 2. Week 2 for the solo Afghani went smooth. Looked a little slow to develop her first proper set of leaves, but the root development should help speed up her progression. Still feeding off the slow release 444 and is now regularly drinking about 2oz of water every other day. I also spritz the bottom of the outer cup to keep moisture levels high for stretching roots. She's about 36" from the light. Hoping to get a little stretch to make training easier. Added a couple new pics to get the week caught up. Stay tuned, week 3 starts training.

Started a little training, cut down the older fan leaves and topped up. I’m adding a tiny bit of root stimulator cause changed the pot size last week so it will to promote a faster growth. Gotta keep this lady low cause the box is quite small. So excited 😆

harvested one blue dream this week, leaving the rest of the plants go one more week. lost a few colas to mold cause the humidity has been high but the rest of the plant seemed good.

Hi fellow growers, for this first week of flowering, everything went smoothly. She took the defoliation from last week well and kept growing strong. She took 8cm during this first week of 12/12, nothing crazy but I hope she is gonna take more this coming week, so that she has pretty long main branches by the end of stretching. I'm glad the smaller branches that occupy the middle grew well and full up this empty space. I'm tucking daily the fan leaves from the main branches to allow a maximum light to reach the branches from the middle. Last week I was wondering if I had gone too strong on the defoliation and then I read about this schwazzing technique, when one defoliates even more, basically removing most of the leaves, this on the day of switching to 12/12 and then doing this same heavy defoliation 20 days later. So be prepared, in two weeks I'm gonna apply the recommended second heavy defoliation and we'll see how that goes together. 😁 Humidity is around 70% at the moment, it's on the high side but I'm not too worried about it. For the nutrients, I'm still religiously following the biobizz schedule and so far, so good. I started this week to log everyday some basic data about the plant, like height, temperatures and humidity. I guess it would be nice to have a little graph at the end to see the evolution of the plant or whatever one wants to do with the data. I think it's good practice too. -- Stereoscopic pictures -- You might have wonder what the hell are those two pictures where seemingly the same picture is put two times. They actually are stereoscopic pictures or 3d pictures. It's using the same principle as 3d for movies or virtual reality and it tricks your brain into seeing in 3d. Basically each picture is the view from each of our eyes. I made those pictures so it allows to see them in 3d without glasses. Follow along with this little tutorial (The picture "stereoscopy 2" is easier. I find it as well easier on a computer as smartphones have a smaller screen): - Having the pictures in front of you around 30-40cm (15-20cm on smartphones) from your eyes, start crossing your eyes slowly. - Both pictures are gonna move toward the middle. The idea is to make both pictures superpose each other in in the middle. - Start to focus on the superposition in the middle and if necessary, adjust the distance between your eyes and the screen. - Once it's in focus, you will instantly notice it and see my weed in crystal clear 3d! Do-Si-Dos Auto is entering her final phase of flower with full-on fade, swelling buds, and thick trichome coverage setting in. This week she showed steady maturity across all sites — pistils began curling in and changing color, but many are still white and active, especially on the lower buds. I gave her a Cal-Mag watering early in the week and have since transitioned to mostly plain RO water as she finishes up. Temperatures climbed to 86°F indoors with 45% humidity, which may have pushed her a bit — I noticed some light upper-leaf clawing from heat stress midweek, but nothing major. The fade is progressing beautifully with purples and yellows coming in across the larger fans. Trichome checks showed mostly clear heads with a few starting to go cloudy — still no amber yet. She’s not ready to harvest, but she’s getting close. Buds continue to stack, and I’ll be checking trichomes daily moving forward to time the final flush and chop.
