16.4.25: As mentioned last week I top dressed with a mix of canna terra plus dry amendments. The soil is very waterlogged and, as a result, has started to grow some mould/mildew on the top layer. I decided to scrape off as much mould as I could, then redress by mixing in some coco and perlite. This should aerate the soil, and prevent the water retention becoming excessive. 23.4.25: I hope everyone had a great 420! HulkBerry has grown significantly since last week. She is now exceeding the perimeter of the 8 Gallon pot. The leaves are looking good to me. It's not too dark, but still luscious in appearance. I have barely given any water, as unfortunately I had overwatered when I top dressed. The top dress was not my usual substrate and, unfortunately, ended up growing mould on the surface. I removed the top soil to take away the mould. Then I replaced it with 2 Inches of Canna coco and perlite 60/40%. I did not add any amendments to this. Nutrients; Cal-Mag amino acids and Ecothrive Biosys. I watered 2 litres yesterday, and today, I am going to LST for the 1st time. It needs to be done ASAP now, before she begins to flower. I'm just aiming to open her up and keep the tops at an even height. I'm happy with this plant her structure is lovely, and uniform. Which I hope to maintain. Week#5 Baby Boom By Kannabia Nov. 25th- Dec.2nd. Baby Boom has grown at a rapid rate this week growing to 15 inches and also growing side branches with multiple tops and has started to flower this week.

Today was only water to clean the soil

All buds are cut and washed in a bath of lemon juice and baking soda/water. I have adopted this as a new standard for every harvest. We washed out quite a bit of dirt and shit. Lots of black floaties in the bath after and a few bugs we did not even realise were in there... The buds were hung and left with a fan over them for an hour before being removed to my drying room. Sitting hanging in there at RH 65% and temp is 20c. Will bring Rh down to 55 in next few days. I will update with a report once they have dried.. Thanks for all the help on this grow people who helped.. you know who you are.. Back in a wekk to 10 with a taste report.. Update.. buds dried after 6 days. Trimmed and jarred with a final dry weight of 112g once I took all branch off. Not tried her yet. I will give her a week at least in the hats before we try and will report back then.

Final phase, just water and environment control. A lot of damaged, stained and discoloured leaves. Not sure if related to the fert switching. All in all, they are looking good. Harvest week incoming.

I just noticed today I’m having some top leaves yellowing between the veins. My ph is on point so I don’t think it’s a deficiency. I haven’t changed anything except the Carboload. So I think I’m going to dump my tank and flush. I really cannot imagine its the Carboload either. So I’m a bit perplexed. I decided after digging into The scrog and finding some lower yellow leaves it was a nitrogen deficiency. Upped the A&B

Yellowing of WW#2 is worrying me, looks to be a nutrient issue maybe? I raised the light above WW#2 by 4 inches in case its light burn as well. Other than that and the nute burn on The other plants things seem well. End of week update: things are looking great, I think whatever happened to WW2 is reducing its ability to form buds? Not sure. It’s looking okay, hoping they’re going to fill out well! Definitely need to grow the widow XXL again, it’s a shame I had another plant fall on WW2 and damage it, likely contributes to the yellowing and such. WW1 still has no amber trichomes, waiting for this entire week to end before I even think about harvesting. I am eager to harvest so I can get more light to lower buds on the other plants. I had to tie up 1/3 NL2 main colas. It was so heavy it was beginning to split the bottom stalk, there was no damage really just maybe 1/20th of the stalk was peeling from the weight. I tied him up to the light and everything seems well. I figured I wouldn’t run into that problem, but don’t underestimate how much weight buds can pack on!

Week 10...The plants are looking good! Took out the microscope to look at the trichomes...Starting to get milky but still another week or two before the harvest! Started flushing the plant this week!

Both plants topped above the 4th node with everything below & all fans removed using a torch sterilized trimmer. Tops soaked in reservoir water with a pinch each of Recharge, Azos, aloe & coconut water powder, dipped in clone-x, then placed in Root Riot cubes that are contained in an ACI clone dome set at 75°F. Dome lights set at level 2. Bud clips applied to each branch & trunk manipulating to 90° angles. Cover crop chop & dropped. All material removed from plants salad chopped & added to the mulch layer of respective container. Hand watered both containers with 1/2 gallon 6.5 ph, 11 ppm, plain reservoir water mixed with 1/2 tsp each of coconut water powder, horticultural aloe powder, Azos & Recharge. Tray2Grow remains inactive until Sunday morning. Expression #1 Pre-Training Height 7" Width 20"×19" Post Training Height 3 3/4" Width 4" Expression #2 Pre-Training Height 8" Width 16"×15" Post Training Height 4" Width 6" Maintaining DLI-25 & VPD-0.85 to aid in recovery. Will reassess Wednesday.

Been drying for about 5 days at this point

The DIY Screen is filling up very nicely by letting it Veg an extra week to try maximise & even the canopy out. Pruning every other day as the growth changes daily. I will be flipping it into flowering within the next few days. I cannot wait! The mother plant where this original clone came from is in its last few weeks of flowering & from what i can see, this is going to be an awesome, fun grow.

New week, plants start to produce loads of sugar and a strong smell is coming trough

Day 12 since flip. Not too much to report, we’re going thru the early flower stretch. Plants are enjoying the environment and are perked up. During this time we slowly ramp the lights up about 1-2% each day until we get to about 80%, that’s usually the max I can run this light in a 4x4. Slowly ramping up the light can avoid the stress caused by blasting your plants all at once. I’ve seen too many stress herms in early flower caused by too intense light. We will also begin to lower humidity by about 3% each week to increase VPD as the plants begin a higher rate of transpiration. We will also do a final clean up of the lower skirts again probably around day 21 (after they have finished their stretch) to ensure energy is directed towards top colas, and to ensure no funny business (herms) are going on underneath which is always a possibility with feminized seeds VPD: 1.22 🌡️: 78 Fahrenheit 💦: 60% 💡: 55% @ 20 inches (550 Ppfd) Just plain tap water until medium is saturated. Currently each lady gets about one gallon of water every 4 days.
