Topped this girl this week, she’s growing pretty good. Very nice looking plant to my eye.

So, starting the 6th week of flower with the phantom OG. BIg Bud has been stopped and has passed over the baton to Bloombastic for the last two weeks(ish) before flush. The POG. Are looking nice hopefully the next 3 or 4 weeks will get them looking a bit better than that.😍😍😍 The smell is awesome very fresh and clean, one leaning towards a minty aroma.

Spotted some budrot again. This time I had enough of it and didn't want to risk further rot, so I decided to harvest them and not let them flower for another week. Forgot to take pictures before the trim, they look silly now without the support from the copperdreads and rubberwires haha. They had 8 weeks of flowering, I'm glad that 1 out of 2 came out nicely. The other one is just another regular looking outside plant lol. I always give them a first trim, so the buds can dry better, faster, safer. After some days or maybe at the end of drying, i will trim them again. You can expect the final update with pictures between 7 to 14 days from now. ps, Somehow the beautifull colors from the better plant doesn't show properly when filming or taking pictures, neighter am I a professional photographer. But ill promise to take better ones, once the buds got the final trim and got dried.

Good morning everyone😁😁 Day 16 of the flowering period plant is showing me she want some extra nutes. So i raised it with some extra pk and calmag from aptus just to give her an extra boost. Within the week i wanna see results. Now it s time to slowly dry her out so the lv will be at 40. In the end of her day the lv is between 52 and 42 but i want to lower it to 40 and try to keep it at 40 to max 46. Keep ya all posted Day 19 already, and got some nutes probs. Runtz is going fine but the ww xl is having some major probs i think it' s missing some pk. Looking also at the Runtz i think she is also missing a little pk so raised pk on both ladies. Hope to see some results before the end of the week. Day 21 has past and things are not in control yet. Raised my watering to 1.5 liter cause she is so thirsty. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Hey! Welcome to week 8! Karen is mid way through her flowering stretch. Please check back to last week as I update daily so the week is now complete. I count about 20 colas now. Day 51: Have reconfigured the tent, see video. Karen is now 36cm and still stretching. Karen has more light now. Smell is still there hits you when you open the tent. Fertigated 2l. Day 52: Height: 39cm. Karen's scent is heavenly. I have reconfigured again and installed some upgrades. Better reflector. Much bigger carbon filter. Increased airflow. Better config. More efficient pot layout. Karen is lovely. I am grateful to her and for her, so I wrote her a little poem, I hope she liked it. "Karen! Oh Karen! The phoenix of flowers, Three lowly weeks she struggled in vain, Shadowed and starved for five hundred hours, He slowly wept to witness her pain. Karen! Oh Karen! I P-H'd your showers, and in the fourth week you started to gain, Hallowed and hard you survived as you cowered, I thought you meek, I was wrong once again. Karen! Oh Karen! Forgave me my howlers. She set a pace, a pace she maintained, Now shes a girl at the peak of her powers, And so I'm a geek, with buds on the brain." Day 53: Approx 48h into a simulated dry spell. Alright I think it is time for Karen to get her first MAJOR defoliation. I will update shortly with photos and info. I will also be doing some gentle LST to separate the colas a bit. Day 53.5: Defoliation and LST. Finally got chance to photograph that bunda. Enjoy! Day 53.75: Bit of a fail. Messed up the timer and the lights ended up being off for about 3 or 4 hours. Because I was cooling the room (open window) to keep temperature in the tent down, without any light the temperatures absolutely plummeted as it is sub-zero outside. By the time I realised and turned the lights on, the temp in the main tent had dropped to 14 degrees celsius. Whoops! How is that for mistreating your girl? Defoliated about 80% of her leaves, 4 nodes, significant LST, then stuck her in the cold and dark for 1/6 of a day. Not to mention she is now almost 3 days into a "dry spell". There do not seem to be ill effects, and Karen has already begun to respond to the LST; all the colas that had been changed in angle are now upright again. The dry spell I keep mentioning, there is a method behind my madness, I have spotted one or two small flies and I think they may be fungus gnats. I am starting to suspect that the 2nd seedling in the Purple OG Punch Auto grow was actually beheaded by fungus gnat larvae. So I am drying out the mediums as much as I dare. I am closely monitoring the plants, so far the only one I have had to break the drought for is Enigma; all the girls in big pots haven't even noticed it's dry yet. How far am I going to push it? Well I will judge it on a plant by plant basis, but quite honestly I am hoping to see physical signs of thirst before I breakdrought. Of all the plants the two I think will respond most strongly to this will be Karen and Bertha, because of where they are. Karen here is actually probably 4 weeks into flowering rather than two, so about now is a good time to give her a little hydration stress. I do not think I will push it past 5 days, as RH is 34%. By now all the plants will be compensating for the lack of moisture and the high temperatures and low humidity. They will be taking more and more moisture out of the coco, and as the coco dries further and further down, those plants that have space will start desperately growing roots to find moisture. Mark my words, 24 hours after I end this drought, every plant in the tent will throw out crazy growth. Day 54: Ended drought and fertigated 6l, no run off, I will re-fertigate tomorrow. Karen is still stretching her height post LST is now 37cm. The two tallest colas seem to have stopped but the other colas are still stretching. Day 55: Alright so it has been 5 hours since lights on, and Karen is looking in good shape, all her drooping leaves have perked back up and she has added quite a bit of foliar growth. The colas are all still rising, except perhaps the two tallest. This girl is absolutely loaded with pistils, I'm starting to see trichomes on the sugar leaves, but trich production hasn't started in earnest yet. She has a least 20 colas, and 6 of them are thicker/taller than the primary cola at her tip. Every one of her nodes has reinforced itself with a bulbous growth and these cola branches are swelling rapidly. I am increasingly of the opinion that, all being well, this girl is going to surprise us all with her yield. My first grow, which was just mucking about really, I got 60-70g of the two main plants, and they were just bare sticks with 2 colas. Although her height is less than theirs was, 2/3 of their height was bare stick... whereas every mm of her is befoliaged and living. So in terms of the height of the actual cola I think they were about comparable in usable space on a per cola basis. The main difference being that Karen has 20+ colas whereas they had 2 primary and 2 lower. I know that it is probably unrealistic to expect more than 70g from a single auto grown indoors. Nevertheless my gut tells me this baby could achieve at least 100g, perhaps as much as 150g. The next few weeks will determine that, but given where we were in week 3 I will be grateful for any yield of quality bud. I have dropped the lights down to 18/6 from 'tonight' onwards. I really have no idea how long we have left for Karen. According the the "brochure" she flowers for 7-8 weeks, with a total crop time of 9 weeks. The problem is I don't know what a total crop time is? Does that mean from seed to finish? If so Karen is clearly not going to be anywhere near that timescale.I am going to go ahead an assume that, for my plant anyway, the first 4 weeks were veg weeks. I think it is fair to count week 5 and 6 as flowering because pistils were popping out very early in week 5 if not before. So that makes this week four of flowering. I am going to assume 8 weeks rather than 7, so I think we have another 4 full weeks give or take a week. On that basis I am expect harvest week to be around week 12 or so. I am not fixed on this though, I am determined not to harvest this girl early. Day 55: Photos taken 00:00 9/3/23 Strong 24h of veg growth as predicted. Day 56: Existing leaves continue to swell. Stretch appears to be slowing. I've taken so many media this week that I cannot scroll down far enough to select a recent thumbnail. Probably Karen's biggest week in terms of changes. She is looking like she is going to impress. Height 39cm.

The cherry bomb has done well in expanding her growth after topping. I am having a ph problem again, and had to move the tent due to really cold weather. She is starting to show signs of nute burn. I have cleaned out the DWC bucket, and I am flusing her for a few days. I have put this plant through a lot of stress, and she continues to bounce back. I am very pleased with this plants Resilience.

798 grams for one plant stems and all. 112 grams dry no . This is a bit less than the dwc weigh in but far superior bud and less stem and leaf. I can fit 9 of these plants under the light in my 5x5. Doing the math to attain the grams per watt. If I had the tent full with 9 of them the harvest with light maxed out 720 watts would be approx 1.4 grams per watt plus or minus variations. I hope my math is right here because that's what I'm putting down. I also only had my grow light dimmer at 80%. So really it's 1.73 grams per watt. Can I get a math check?

With these plants, I started them directly in rockwool (no paper towel method or soaking, dry seed straight to cube) and the cube for Plant 1 ended up waterlogged, and the plant almost drowned. Now she's stunted, but I'm going to to let her go to harvest, even if she only produces larf (It's my first grow, so it's all just a learning experience at this point to me.) I moved both girls from the previous germination method to the one I'm using now, which is promix in a double-solo cup. Plant 2 just showed me her tap root out of the inside (grow cup where the seeds are located) cup, so I mixed together a 1-gallon MasterBlend mix (2.4-2.4-1.2) and fed her nutrients. Plant 1 is a little slower and hasn't shown me her tap yet, so no nutes for her. I'm using the AC Infinity humidity dome/propagation chamber with the grow lights and four vents. I keep the humidity around 82-84% because I'm aiming for a vpd of 0.6-0.9, and the temp stays around 70-75F. Day 18 is when I moved them both to their buckets. 4 gal in each bucket, so they got a 9.6-9.6-4.8 feed; will monitor for the next 24-48hrs and make sure they like it. Also, its measurement is grams/gal, not tsp/gal.

Just like there mum, 39th day of flower and 😍❤️. They smell like a sweet shop, and the depth of green💥 I can’t believe the frosting on the buds already❄️ I’ve fell in love with the organic side of cultivating I must say, see you in a few weeks👊🏻

10/29: flowing on autopilot At this point. I did not have to do anything with them this week. They have recovered from that terrible stress from a massive defoliation. The smell is not very strong, but of you get close to the buds, they smell pretty bad honestly. Lol. Its a weird smell. Bot sure how to describe it. Kinda like a bitter chemical. Hopefully that is not the end result of the terps. I am very disappointed now that i did not get one of the really purple phenos. The clones are doing great and have been potted in 1 gallon pots. Not sure i end up keeping any of them now that i know i do t have the plant that i wanted and i al not convinced that i will even like any of these yet.

She's done! Whew! I can say that this wasn't my easiest grow. She had some issues in the beginning, due to over fertilizing (see diary) but she managed to produce some beautiful crystallized nuggets. I flushed her for a week but she looked so ready, and she's so loud, I had to chop her down. Stay tuned for the smoke report.

Ya e practicado un lavado de raíces que era necesario para proceder a seguir regando sólo con agua unos días más.
