Hello Diary. The third week of vegetation has passed and Haze Berry Auto is entering the pre-flowering phase. Haze Berry has grown 63cm in the first three weeks which is really quite but not surprising considering he is Sativa. Haze lengthened nicely and the distance between the branches is much larger than, for example, with his roommate Fat Banana. Now the leaves and branches are already causing problems when watering. I continue to add BioBizz to each watering on a schedule for that week, and I also started adding CalMag preventively. The plants have generally become more thirsty, now watering is almost every two days when I prepare 6 liters of water with which to water all three plants evenly. Day 70 - 01/12/19 This is going to be a lot bigger than my last harvests :) the colas are getting bigger each day and even the side colas are bigger than my last plants main cola. Smell is still weak/normal with that lavender/weed concoction :) hoping it gets pretty strong in the next couple of weeks! Plant hasnt gotten any taller as its finished its stretch. all thats left now is watering and waiting :) this beauty should be ready to chop down just before christmas. might have some buds dried by christmas day ahah. Main cola refuses to snap even after being bumped off the grow lamp etc. rhizotonic is definitely doing its job at strengthening stems. I added a few photos to show progress from last week. really excited for this one :) hopefully the buds will be much more dense and tighter as i will give this strain all the time it needs. ive also been watering using the full 1.8L can. the plant is drinking this and drying out in the space of 24 hours. im definitely going to give it as much water and nutes as it wants lol. Same day update: Was taking some pictures to show off LST on my other diary and they just looked great. my quick one is towering over the other diarys plant and the colas look beautiful! i posted the pictures on this week also. take a look! Day 75 - 06/12/19 Most fan leaves are yellowing and crispy now so im assuming its near the end. im going to check the trichomes in the morning to see whats up :) chopped a small bit of bud from the top of the main cola and smoked it. nice little stoned high from it :) Il probably start flushing in a few days time :) plant should definitely be ready for a week 12 harvest! i get more and more excited for the harvest of every plant i grow. im learning and improving every time. Day 76 - 07/12/19 Quick One turned into a Fat One compared to 6 days ago. im gonna start flushing tomorrow and try to harvest around the start of week 12. a nice smell of lavender and colas are thick and sticky. a definite improvement over my last diary! This week went pretty well, I was out of town, but I was able to monitor these ladies by WYZE Cam, and I set up the feedings on a timer, but I only fed them twice per day while I was gone. They are still getting Cal-Mag, maxibloom, and PK booster. Still running on 19/5 light cycle, and I also did some defoliation when I got back in town just to improve some air flow. Overall I am very happy with these genetics from Sweet Seeds, and I believe I am only a couple weeks from harvest, but I will continue to monitor the trichomes with my optics. When will this end? lol Pretty cold week, temp dropped to 12°c @ night So the top 2 huge colas are like 30% amber The middle big buds are like 10% amber and the small lowest buds are like 80% cloudy with no amber I think tomorrow(friday 10/02 first day of week 16) will harvest i dunno i think there's no benefits of letting her live more, i know its not 100% perfect but i think the combination of the very ambery top colas with the middle ones cloudy will balance the unconsistent ambers on each buds.

Today was wet out with amazing sun. Thinking of a shelter to build tomorrow. I just want to prevent bud rot if I can as much. this weather from here on out is going to be wet and high UV sun and then mix clouds so we just have 2 more weeks till harvest

Took some clones 1 week before flipping to flower but forgot to take pictures. The video of the clones are from oct 1st. The Turnt smelled like chocolate cover strawberries but now are smelling of garlic and pepper with a bit of undertone of strawyberries. The Diesel smelled like lemon pinesol but now smells of citrus mixed with gas. The Banana Clipz smells of berries mixed with skunk. Paradiso smells of citrus mixed with fruit. Lung Buster smelled lightly sweet at first but now smells like berries mixed with a undertone of garlic,funk, and gas . Spilt Paint smells of berries mixed with diesel and funk.

🌱 Week 23 Update (Late Veg / Pre-Flower Excitement) Red Hot Violet is really starting to stack up now — node spacing tightening, branches thickening, and that pre-flip energy is kicking in 💪💜🌱. She’s shaping into a gorgeous structure that’s ready to explode once flower hits.Meanwhile, Amaretto Sour is doing her own thing and honestly stealing the show with that lemon-blueberry aroma 🍋

One of the plants grew massive! However the smoke wasn’t the best until a good 4 weeks cure. Very hairy buds too which was interesting 😂 Still a nice smoke

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed.
