A 4 hour planned power outage in my area gave me the excuse to flip the girls. Kept the lights off for a cycle then immediately went 12/12. Although the temperature dropped to a root freezing 58°F, the reservoir didn't have a chance to fluctuate much and I also kept my air pumps running for an extra hour and a half off my computer backup battery! The battle with root rot is basically over. I am taking care to rinse the roots every once and a while. Growth has been amazing! Loving DWC! It also gives me things to do as I lie to pay attention to my plants. Doing a thorough clean with H2O2 every res change. PPM is around 800-900. Drops fast now. Every two days I check PH and correct if necessary. Usually it's been around 6.2-6.3 when I check. I PH it back down to 5.8. I've heard that flowering is a little on the acidic side so I'm planning on dropping my PH to 5.5-5.6. Did a major defoliation after this diary entry. Will do another in three weeks. Moved into the flowering tent... running out of room and need to get these girls flowering. Defoliated and put under the ScrOG net, hopefully I won’t have to defoliate her too heavily. Stretch has started, no pistils yet but she had just went into reveg so I suspect her to throw pistils again pretty soon. Lots and lots of branches on this little plant since the cutting she originally came from was off a flowering mother plant.

Day 72, 21st of November 2020: Hi! Wao this is what I can say and luckily stoppe streching.... All LST has been removed as the plants remain the same so no need to keep them in "chains". Those Original Sensible girls 3 of them (Gelato, Runtz Gum, Do-Si-Dos OG)went crazy, except Black Ghost OG she did not strech much typical little indica lady. And the THC crystals alrady on the leaves on the Runtz Gum and Do-Si-Dos OG just simply beautiful. Buds are coming getting thick they are gorgeous only I can see some some sort of deficiency on Do-Si-Dos OG a bit on some leaves. The fertilization schedula isnthe same every 2nd day and happens with the mix and ratio above. Wedding Gelato is beautiful also I hope the nice purple colour will come out as well in late flowering stage. :) The lamp is on 11.30 min and off 12.30 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -30 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.30 pm.

She grows up fast and eats well. I think she's probably starting to lack micronutrients tip that starts to yellow. 😐

So flower has seemed very slow. We are on day 60 of flower, and they are NOT ready. The past two weeks the pH has been dropping tremendously every day. I couldn’t imagine it would be a root issue since I use hydroguard and we have a chiller set at 67 degrees, plus the plants look healthy! So I did my research and tried everything. Finally I decided to go ahead and treat with hydrogen peroxide because nothing else was helping, and Bam! Stable pH! Lesson learned. I hope the plants now start putting on weight over the next week and maturing. I was hoping to flush in a week, but I will just base it off what they are telling me.

Weekly update. Sorry it was a late update this week I was out of town (Bizcon2024). Wow have they grown, I'd say doubling in size. I've upped the watering to 1000ml daily, this week I'll do a major defoliation and lollipoping. All in all Happy Growing

I reduced nutrition dosis as I expect harvest in about two weeks. Apart from that, nothing really happened and everything run as planned.

Moved them inside last week and then chopped one down. Rot was taking over quickly. Buds hadn’t fully formed underneath but the main colas and tops were ok. Bit disappointing but the weather has just been terrible where I am this autumn 😂 what can you do.

Hey Growmies, I apologize for the lame diary this week. I've been sick on and off the last two months and it's really taking a toll on my body and heart condition. Please forgive me as I'm trying to heal up. I'll do the best I can at updating this as I go along. I'm not giving up! The girls look great, despite not giving them as much attention as id like and they deserve. Great week of growth. I let her do her thing. I did minor LST and some hst on the other girls that I haven't made a diary for yet but will. Day 19 of flower.. week 3 of flower is about to wrap up which is nearing the end of the stretch phase. I was pleasantly surprised with the growth on the Watermelon Zkittelz, I've been putting the most work into her as the technique I'm using requires a lot of attention. Next run I will use tie downs and I'll most likely add a trellis here soon too help hold the heavy colas.. but we will see how it plays out. Looking forward to seeing her buds start to stack before my eyes! Thank you to everyone who has helped me through this journey! I've been really sick lately and my girls help keep me going! Day 20 of flower Today went well, I reorganized the tent and cleaned it a bit, I try to clean it once a week or so. I've been hand "drip feeding" one of the girls the last few days. Just an expierment and the plant seems to love it so I'm going to start hand "drip feeding" all of them. I think the Watermelon Zkittelz is going to love some extra food every day! I know us humans do but it's important to make sure the girls aren't stressed and isnt in a nutrient lock out or something. I think it's best when she's running prime! At the end of day 20 of flower I took a video of all the new growth and it was after I reorganized the tent and I feel so much better after doing this. I also turned off all the lights and turned on each light individually so I could see how each light was casting on each plant. This way I know the plants are getting enough light coverage as that is a huge disadvantage of using these budget lights. Excited for the 3rd week to come to an end!! Adding new nutrients next week!! Day 21 of flower ( end of week 3 of flower, 11 weeks from seed ) Grow is going great!! Have a good day!

I've figured out my lights have been up a bit high, and the plants didn't seem to like it. They've been turned down the past week and all of the plants have responded well. The Bruce Banner stacked A LOT in the 4 inches because of the lights, so I clipped a few leafs to get some light to some of the under branches. Hopefully I can make use of them and they'll grow up quick.

Fruity pebbles auto is doing good. She has a nice start into the solution. I clipped the tips of her long root to help keep root base closer to the basket. Also makes them spread out wider vs longer. Everything is looking good. Day 64 02/09/24 Monday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag. Day 66 04/09/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today only. Smell is really coming on strong now!! Day 68 06/09/24 Friday Feed again today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only. Day 69 07/09/24 Saturday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Mould 😔🤦‍♂️ Absolutely gutted!! Had a very humid past 3 days, wet with no wind... 2 plants have suffered... Auto Orange Bud has lost a side branch. Auto critical orange punch has lost her main colar, and 2 sides, the yeild is going be to now be appalling, but this is due to environmental, not the seed or genetics, as far as they go this was one of the strongest and biggest in the group Day 70 08/09/24 Sunday (END of week) Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. ☠️ Auto critical orange punch 🍊👊 Had to remove completely, after isolating the rest of the greenhouse, mould persistently grew on her. The remaining plants after 2 days isolation have been moved indoor to finish underground 600w hps and a more controlled environment.
