Oh it was a special week. Day 21 of flower marks the Silver Back Guerilla defoliation day!!!! I left one be. For him. To prove me wrong. BUT!!! That one had some dead leaves at the bottom that needed removal, not the defoliated plants!! Time will tell as to if what Im doing is right. I stick to my guns that this works for my room. Even though I read differently, removal of foliage has lowered my rh. Could very well be outside environment, however. By day 21F the room was a bush again. In my opinion, it needed the heavy defo to breathe. As for light penetration, I am extremely happy with the amount of heads receiving direct light. Im a pig in shit Thanks for looking, I dont want to hear your opinion on defo or schawazze, unless youre SBG

I applied a defoliation now on the second week to get that the light gets to every bud site,let's see how this wonderful little bush performs.

The Cookie Girls are doing great 😊 Overall, I’m very pleased with the results so far. At day 8 I stopped tucking the branches and allowed them to grow up. In hindsight, I probably should have kept going for another couple of days. They continued to stretch rapidly all the way up to date 12 or so. At day 10 I cleaned up some of the small bud sites and leaves that were below the 1st trellis. These sites do not get enough light to make anything good, and take away energy from the main tops as they grow and compete. At day 12 I decided to add a second trellis net to provide support to the tops that came up so fast. They seem to have stopped their main stretch faze, and are looking happy and healthy now. I’ve continued my water, water, feed schedule and have not seen any cause for concern. The girls are taking a little over a gallon of water every 72 hours at this point. Humidity is being controlled automatically with my in-line fan and humidifier. RH is set to 57% and temps hover between 77-80 degrees with lights on, and about 70-72 with light off thanks to my furnace being back on for the cooler temps. The 2x4 5 gallon girl is doing great as well. 😊During the stretch, while I tucked, I snapped more than a couple of tops off, but the plant continues to thrive. She is going to have some great bud, the branch structure is nicely developed with tight node spacing. I’ve been plucking off all the lower growth, and tucking leaves as they block bud sites. 🎅 So, as for the smoke after 30 days of harvest day. Biscotti Mints have a high concentration of THC, definitely above 25%, you can feel it. Beginners should exercise caution. -The taste, I wouldn't exactly call it mint. It's similar to peppermint, but it doesn't taste like mint, it tastes like flowers. Bottom line, the taste is similar to pepper flowers. -The effect is only evening, not daytime. It will be good for an evening relaxation or in the company of friends. -The appearance is something beautiful. Everyone who saw him liked him. Dense, stone buds, green-violet color.

The ICE is almost done; the NL doesn’t even seem close. Interesting since ICE sprouted a day later than the NL.

Kinda a rough week, everyone. I’ve been battling the flu all week and my energy is zapped. So firstly I had been growing increasingly annoyed of leaf clawing. I addressed overwatering and started only watering every 4-5 days and the girls responded well. I researched defoliation as much as I could and gave it a go because the plants weren’t getting optimal light. Might’ve overdone it, I’m not sure. Then came lowering the screens to begin scrogging. I’ve read probably every forum and article and looked at dozens of diaries; but it feels like when I’m tying branches to the screen it’s just stacking them on other leaves and blocking more light. I hate my LED, it’s probably only good for one plant. But today one of the bulbs went out, brand new light. I decided to buy a 315w CMH Light should be here next week. Live and learn. Should have done a single plant grow. It’s a new week though it will all work out. 🍁

This week I just made sure that the new branches always get a lot of light and are not covered by other leafs. The plants have not grown much, because I constantly stress them and push them down. All new shoots that grow to size were topped, in the middle area of the plant, to keep everything nice and even Day 48 🌞 ------- each Plant 2 Liter...gluck, gluck, gluck.... ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Light - 18/6 h - 400 Watt 60% Dim. Can't wait to harvest! Probably going to wait another week. Trichomes are getting cloudier. A few amber ones, a few clear ones still. Most are cloudy. Gave them the last garlic spraying for the spider mites yesterday. Only spraying them with water now to keep the mites in check and wash off the garlic.😎

Gave a light feed. Got a few quick photos and some video footage. Everything looks frosty and she is getting some purpling going on and she has a general bluish green hue to her overall. 9/3: Photo update! Trichomes closest to the light starting to turn amber!
