Top canopy was uneven so supercropped a couple of branches. Top branches are flowering ok but I'm not sure she'll make it too the end, bottom branches looking great. I asked how I can speed up flowering, and I need too cover her for 16 hours a day, can't cover with boxes as rain will destroy the cartoon, don't have a cloth big enough. I'm just gonna wing it, adding some leaves to protect soil from frost, bringing her in when it is forecast to below 6. She'll be flowering until Christmas at this rate :D keeping an eye for hermie

Day 84:Another week passes and these girls are still full of white pistils. The Los girl is now totally void of Nitrogen in her pot I think and it explains the yellowing from early on. I think I may have washed the life and nutes out with an overwatering and not had chance or time to replenish them fully. Their pot will be redone when she is out to re introduce all the life. The bids on her have definitely paid the price of no supply of abundant feeds and without doubt smaller than they could have been. She is so productive that it's a shame to reach the end this way. # 2 is leading the way for her to watch how its done.She is pushing nice shaggy fat colas that are starting to orange up a little now so should it be much longer before she reaches her perfect pint to harvest. #3 Has pushed herself to the top slot for size and development. The colas are so hard i can't squash them at all. They let me know they are there with bursts of pineapple smells as I move them around. I don't doubt that she will be another week before her end but that gives her more time to swell !. Monitoring: - Maintained temperature around 24-28 degrees Celsius and humidity between 50-60 percent. - Kept the soil consistently moist, watering when the top inch of soil felt dry. 2. Nutrient Management: - Continued with a balanced nutrient solution to support vegetative growth. - Monitored the plants for any signs of nutrient deficiencies or excesses and adjusted the feeding schedule as needed. 3. FLOWER WEEK 1 ⭐️Nutrients Used⭐️ Front Row AG Si .5g per gallon Front Row AG Part A 3.3g per gallon Front Row AG Part B 2.2g per gallon Front Row AG Phoszyme .4g per gallon Front Row AG Bloom 2.6g per gallon Front Row AG CleanUp .3g per gallon This has been a great week. Some of the basics are coming together. Lights have been gradually raised by 5-10% every day except the last 2 days. By the end of week 2 flower they will be 100% and will stay there until last week of flower. Temp is 80 degrees, humidity is 60% and will also stay that way until the last 10 days of flower. I will go another week of tucking branches under the net to try and let the last plant reach the net. It’s just not stretching like the others. I need at least a week of stretch with vertical growth, so my smallest plant needs to catch up. There has to be 300+ tops in this 4x12 area. Every single node was topped 7-10 days before flower. Each branch has multiple nodes now. Between day 14-25 everything under the net will be removed. Clones were taken of every plant for a hopeful keeper pheno. Gonna try the whole “mother plant full clone run” for the next grow. By the end of week 2 parameters will be 1500ppm co2 1200-1500 ppfd 80 degrees 60% humidity Thanks for all the support and see you next week.

This week we noticed a few small spots on the leaves. Nothing dramatic, nothing to sound alarms about, but enough to remind us that plants, like people, sometimes whisper when they need something. It could be calcium, it could be another minor imbalance, but the key is observation. We’ll keep a close eye, watching for patterns, listening to what the girls want to tell us, and adjusting gently if needed. 🌱 Quick Recap (For Those Just Joining) From the start, this run has been about detail and care. • Germination was clean and quick, the girls leaping from seed into life. • Veg was marked by strong branching, healthy leaves, and the unforgettable funky unicorn foliage of Pheno #2. • Transplanting into super soil and fabric pots gave them the room to spread their roots and breathe. • The shift into flower was smooth, guided by careful lighting, steady feeding, and a balance of Aptus and Plagron nutrients. • Weeks 4 and 5 saw sativa-like stretch, white hairs bursting across every cola, and canopy lights filling every corner with photons. This is the stage of patience, where the magic brews quietly within each calyx. 💚 Closing Thought The Gelonades remind us that growth is rarely flawless. PS: Understanding Foxtailing One of the girls, our Pheno #2, is starting to show signs of foxtailing. For those new to the term, foxtailing refers to when buds grow in elongated, irregular patterns instead of stacking neatly into the dense, conical shape we often expect. The result is a flower that looks “spiky” or “funky,” almost as though the plant is growing multiple little towers from a single cola. Why does this happen? There are two main sides to the story: • Genetic Foxtailing: Some strains naturally express this trait, especially sativa-leaning hybrids. In this case, foxtailing is simply part of the plant’s personality, often leading to extra surface area for resin glands, which can even mean more trichomes and aromas. • Environmental Foxtailing: Stress factors can also trigger it — high heat, intense light (too much PPFD), or shifts in feeding can encourage buds to keep stacking in odd ways rather than finishing their round formation. In our case, the temperatures have sometimes pushed higher than ideal, and the lights are running strong, so those factors might play a role. But genetics also carry a heavy influence, and Gelonade — being sativa-leaning, can naturally lean toward these elongated flower expressions. Is foxtailing a problem? Not at all. While it can look unusual compared to the “textbook” cola shape, it doesn’t reduce quality. In fact, it can increase flower mass and surface resin coverage, giving us more material and potentially more complex aesthetics. Some growers even treasure it as a unique expression of their plant’s individuality. So while Pheno #2 may look a little funky, we see it as a gift, more fruit, more character, more story to tell. This week gorilla cookies finally got the chop! She was a very fun plant to grow and she produced dense,sticky buds that have some very pretty colors to her. If you wanna impress your friends with a plant,she’s one to do it with🔥

Start of week 3. Weather conditions got better, less clouds and more sun seem to be good for the plants. 06/13/2020 -day 15- duck #1 still seems to have some problem. She grows but has a lighter greenish-yellowish color compared with her sister. Also the leafs have strange curls. I got a hint to remove the bio tabs and only give water. Maybe that will do the trick 06/16/2020 -day 18- finally a visible progress in growth. Duck #1 got back to a more natural green (thanks to a hint from Fusion 👍). Because of heavy rain, I got enough water for the two ladies 06/19/2020 -day 21- end of week 3, the ladies grew very good and got nice new leafs. So far, it really looks very decent an not like cannabis at all. Although they seem to be small in comparison with other diaries. This weeks weather was often cloudy with a lack of sun. Temperatures were between 25 C at day and 18 C at night. All in all I am happy that they seem to be healthy and growing. Looking forward to the progress in week 4. Keep in Touch ! Cheers HighZenBerg

Finallyyyyy the flower stage has began

The bud sites are just covered in tricomes, I had my magnifying glass out to check the colour and most are milky but not as much as I thought by going by the pistol coloring, as they are mostly brown. There is a more of a spicy dank smell to her now and the fan leaves have mostly died or are close to dying. Hopefully I can start the flush process soon but will not do this till I'm happy with the tricome colouring.

We have had another very hot week. All my girls are suffering and display some ugly looking leaves. But so far the buds are doing well. This girl is growing some very fat buds. The smell is very delicious. She smells of grapefruit.
