Day 85: First Grow We’re entering a new week, and it’s exciting to see the progress in our first grow. The plants are thriving, and the buds continue to get thicker and frostier. The formation of orange hairs is becoming more pronounced, indicating that we're on the right track. This week, we’ve decided to order a microscope to monitor trichome development more closely. Additionally, we're considering adding CANNAZYM to our feeding regimen to support bud growth and overall plant health. Let’s keep pushing forward and make this a successful grow!

Auto Lemon is soooo close to harvest. Buds are frosty, hairs are orange, she stinks really strong, the trichs are milky white, but no amber yet. Trying to wait for amber trichs. Gave her Recharge only in anticipation of flushing soon. 👍

Gran Turismo is really looking sharp! The leaves are a beautiful, dark green and it's growing so fast. I think it might be my favorite seedling – it's got this really strong stem, and it stands tall. I can tell it's gonna be a healthy plant when it grows up.

Hello, this week Uva light was added, 2 15w lamps are working 1 hour a day! I have no idea of the results because it's the 1st time I use uv light and skywalkerhaze! But they are still beautiful and getting fat! Thanks for Watch

If anyone can help with that Magnum, also I’m starting a new grow diary on the GSC next week when they get bigger. I also having issues with drainage to measure the ppm in all plants. I’m skipping a week of nutrients, I’m worried I don’t know what I’m doing and I don’t want to kill the two good looking plants

The Final Four are still stretching as you can see in the Time lapse movie. They are really eating; I just feed them on the 7th and again on the 10 they are responding well to the increased PPM and reduced PH 1500 and 5.9 with no real signs of Nutrient burn. I added the Pro A and B this time as they will need some N in the flowering stage the P & K are getting the boost from the liquid Cool Bloom 0-10-10 I and am still feeding CAL and MAG in every watering. I think tonight when the lights come on, I will rearrange the Scrog with the four remaining plants, as three of them are tucked in the corner from the time I had my California 6 in the tent. For me that is plenty of personal smoke plus Larf and trim hash. happy growing Gromies.💪

Wassup fellas! Ita day 42, which means end of week 6! The plants are definitely healthy and love their 100% organic dieta day more than ferts, resin production is on point and so does the smell. Chopped her tonight and will update diary as and when I can. She smells sweet and fruity. Been curing for a bit now. She smells amazing and tastes just as nice. Got 18g dry weight.

Now that the plants are in full bloom the scent is getting stronger by the day. I'm already picking up strong fruity aromas, filling the room each time I open the G-Tools. It's nice to see how the different pheno's develop. Trichome Queen is definitely a hash plant. The resin is growing everywhere, also on the bigger fanleafs. She will be an excellent candidate for a nice rosin extract. The other two just focus on growing buds and looking awesome at the moment. I'm easing up on the nutrient this week as I detected some brown spots on the top leafs. Might be nutrient related but it could also be due to the distance of the lamp. It's raised to the top of the growbox but still too close to the canopy in my opinion. Maybe I should have done some more LST, or maybe I need to get less greedy and not try to cram three plants in a small growbox 😅. Let's see what happens in the coming week. The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. Die Ernre war mal der Wahnsinn! Also erstmal: Ich habe 3 Paar Handschuhe verbraucht. Normalerweise reicht ein, max. zwei... hier war ich kurz vor Paar 4! Harzig wie blöd, überall Trichome! Was aber bei dieser Genetik auffällt: Es bilden sich sogar Blüten auf den Sonnensegeln!!! Bei ganz frechen Genetiken habe ich mal Trichome auf den Stielen und Blättern... aber nicht ganze Blüten. Safe the fan leafs, they carry!!! Der Geruch ist zu 100% Skunk... aber mit einem kleinen Twist. Die Cherry kommt schon etwas von der Farbe durch.

Well, I should have learned my lesson from my previous grow, but I didn't :D ... instead of training this plant with some LST when she was young to keep her low, I let her do her thing, and with my 4.5 foot high tent (not including the height taken away from my light and exhaust), she decided to take off in the stretch of flowering. Inches away from my light, I decided to supercrop her on day 11 of flowering. Unfortunately I had an accident and snapped the main stalk. I taped her up and she recovered overnight, but since she has a lot of stretching left to do, I will have to continue tying her down so she doesn't keep reaching for my light. Wish me luck! :D
