What an explosion in growth for week 5. Every day this plant is growing like crazy. Had to trim up some lower foliage to allow better airflow. Tied down some more branches to even the canopy especially the main stem. Rubbing the stem gives an amazing smell and can’t wait till it matures fully. Looking like this plant will be a great yield of everything keeps rocking like it has. I’m feeding a worm castings compost tea spiked with Cultured Biologix EZ Tea Bloom to feed the microbes in the soil that are essential for trichome production. Also started feeding silicon to strengthen the stems and Trichomes. Week 6 is going to be nuts with growth I can already tell.

The plants seemed to recover very well this week from the nutrient burn last week. I did a defoliation on some of the odd nodes of the Dominican Republic to free up some wasted energy. The ppm was still reading a little high on each so I didn't feed them and just flushed them back to appropriate values. My grow light was finally cleared through customs and I added it to supplement the light issues which the plants seemed to respond very nicely too. Halfway through the week I applied some foliar spray and it really improved the colour and health of the plants. Lastly I topped each plant to resume progress on the mainlining and they should each reach 4 healthy lines within the new week.

Y empieza el cultivo de los esquejes. De momento están recien metidos al armario pequeño con la luz flojita (dos barras led de 14w) y encuanto se aclimaten todos, los pasaré al armario grande con la luz grande puesta al minimo 300W. La intención es llenar el 1.5x1.5 con los 4 esquejes (3 esquejes y una semilla pero eso). La semilla es de la blue zushi, los esquejes son de la Kritical GB (de GB Strains), Critical (de GB Strains), y la Pakistan Valley Early Harvest de World of Seeds). El cultivo va a ser organico basado en un supersoil, pero añadire potenciador de raices, enzymas y otros productos de base organica. El único producto mineral que usaré será CalMag para suber la ec del agua a unos 0.2 al principio e ir subiéndola hasta unos 0.4 mas o menos. El agua va a ser literalmente del aire acondicionado, que me tira mas de 8L de agua destilada al dia. HE DE DECIR QUE EN ESTE DIARIO EL TEMA DE LAS PRIMERAS SEMANAS NO LO ESTOY REGISTRANDO BIEN YA QUE AL SER MEZCLA DE ESQUEJES Y SEMILLA NO QUISE PREOCUPARME MUCHO POR EL TEMA SEMANAS PERO BUENO. ESTA QUE ES ESQUEJE BUENO, DIGAMOS QUE ESTE DIARIO VA A PARTIR CON 2 SEMANAS DE CRECIMIENTO EN LA MACETA DE 1 LITRO ESTA QUE TIENE. YA TRATARÉ A PARTIR DE AQUÍ LLEVARLO MEJOR CONTROLADO.

This girl is growing like a sword – tall, slender, and cutting through the canopy with style 😅 She's stretched quite a bit, and down below she’s rocking four tiny side shoots that I’m honestly not sure what to think of yet. But hey, I’m letting her do her thing. Stretch seems to be slowing down now, and I'm starting to spot the very first trichomes glistening under the light, always an exciting moment! Let’s see how she continues to shape up in the coming weeks. Staying hopeful!🌱💚

Final phase, just water and environment control. A lot of damaged, stained and discoloured leaves. Not sure if related to the fert switching. All in all, they are looking good. Harvest week incoming.

Everything is as beautiful as ever :-) the rear ones are already in full flower production, the front ones are just beginning. None shows deficiencies or an excess of nutrients :-) everything looks perfect, and every one of them reacted super topping :-)

03/13/2021 Side branches are developing nice, I may do a little more lst to help lower tops to catch up before flowering starts Ps. Couple videos uploaded Day #6 doing some bending, and broke a branch off so I dipped in rooting powder,threw it in some vermiculite soaked with Bonide Garden Rich Root & Grow 4-10-3 with (IBA) Lets see if she will root! Fingers crossed🙏

Overall this was an excellent grow. I was not prepared for the huge growth and yield from the high frequency fertigation growing in coco, and the genetics of the Blue Dream'Matic. I should have defoliated it a bit more earlier on, just due to how vigorous the growth was. But I will not complain with 200g dried bud from 3sqft of tent under a HLG100 light. Hats off to Fastbuds for the great genetics. I really feel like my growing came together at a new level this time, and I am excited to experiment with even more improvements next grow! After switching the light schedule, our supposed "autoflowers" have finaly started to show signs of actually flowering. Week 9, what a trip. This grow is full of surprises and new lessons for me: the potting mix i have used for this grow is apparently purely peat (black and white peat moss) with perlite mixed in. After digging into some more information about all kinds of soils i found out that i was apparently growing "hydroponically" because this is apparently a soilless mix. The world is full of surprises 😅 This does explain a lot of the stuff that i've been trying to deal with in the last few weeks: first and foremost my plants were looking like they were developing a range of different nutrient deficiencies. I still find it hard to tell which ones, but symptoms ranged from decoloration and deformation of the lower leafs up to small burnt tips on the developing flowers, new growth being brittle and signs that looked like underwatering. I'm convinced that this has a lot to do with the fact tht this is a soilless medium with 0 pre-supplied nutrients (the light mix does supply nutrients for a week or two, but no more). I've been going really slow on the feeding because in previous runs i tended to overfeed and had issues with that, so therefore only used about a quarter to half of the recommended dosages. So, at this point i've completely switched up my feeding: i bought 2 new bottles of hydroponic fertilizers (GHE Bloom and GHE Micro) and i'm using those in addition to a little bit of plagron terra grow - to make sure the plant also gets its fair share of nitrogen. After 3 days of watering with this stuff (both at 2ml/L) the plants are almost literally screaming "THANK YOU!" and seem to be really benefitting from this new insight and change of strategies.
