I cut it a lot, but I notice that many people cut a bunch of leaves at one time, although somewhere I read no more than 10% at a time. FERMAKOR KOH Extraction – Update Last time I said the batch would be done in 3–4 days, but I made a last-moment change. I added fresh cannabis leaves, branches, and pistils to help buffer the extra KOH, fix the PK imbalance, and see if I can bring it into line without using citric acid. Reaction so far: greens are breaking down fast, adding nitrogen while soaking up some of the excess alkalinity. Smell: strong ammonia, but not rotten — typical of proteins and chlorophyll being stripped out. Texture: slurry has darkened, foam is down, liquid looks stable. Plan: let it sit a couple more days stirring, then check if it’s ready to use and use some citric acid in case the pH is still to high and "force" it ready.

The theme for this week? Patience and appreciation. These girls continue to grow at their own pace, each one showcasing their unique traits and incredible beauty. Week Recap: Slow and Steady Wins the Race The girls are still on the slower side in terms of growth, but that’s part of their charm. Each leaf is a masterpiece, more intricate and stunning than the last. Their prayer posture remains consistent—a true testament to their health and contentment in their environment. They may be taking their time, but their vitality and uniqueness shine through every step of the way. Environmental Conditions: Keeping Things Balanced This week has been about maintaining a steady environment despite the natural slowdown in growth due to cooler temperatures. • Temps: Daytime 18–20°C, nighttime 14–16°C. It’s a bit chillier than usual, but these resilient ladies are adapting beautifully. • Humidity: Stable at 65%, ensuring the girls remain hydrated and comfortable. • Airflow: Gentle but constant to keep the space fresh and prevent any stagnant air pockets. Feeding Program: Aptus Holland Perfection Feeding remains consistent, and the girls are loving the organic-mineral lineup from Aptus Holland. Growth Observations: Slow but Stunning • Structure: The slow growth might test patience, but the payoff is worth it. The compact, vibrant structure of each plant is breathtaking. • Leaves: Dark green, uniquely shaped, and full of character. Each girl is like an artist’s brushstroke—no two alike. • Praying Posture: Their leaves reach for the skies like they’re soaking up every ounce of light. Still no cloning or flipping to 12/12 yet, as I want them to grow a bit more before making any big moves. Next week, I’ll decide whether to flip them for a brief period to determine sex or wait until cloning is feasible. Into week three of flowering: - Need to up CalMg this week cause all my last grows with this strain the plants were stressing and showing signs of Mg deficiency I think. - The buds are stacking up pretty tight. - The top of the plant is showing some red veins AGAIN, don't know if it is genetics? Or is it too much light? ANY SUGGESTIONS? - Usually what happens is that after week three top of plant will show red veins and some leaves will turn light green yellow. What type of deficiency is this? Thanks in advance for the help. Happy growing, BM 4TwenTee *****Update on LIGHT STRESS:***** Okay I think I got this figured out. Since my plant is showing the following symptoms: - Slow yellowing of top of cannopy - Fan leaves pointing up in a steep angle - Leaves are tacoing up a bit with sharp pointy serrated leaves pointing up - Veins are turning purple and some leaves are showing green veins and yellowing of outer part of the leaf REASONS FOR THE SYMPTOMS: - Since the light is too close to the top of the canopy, although my light is running at around 60% and it is at least a meter away from the light. I think because this was a mother and basically she is accustomed to top canopy PAR of around 180-220 and she was measuring around 600PAR so that is just too much for the plant to handle. So I've lowered the light output so the top canopy is around 420 PAR. - Also my humidity is pretty high at around 72% so I lowered it to around 65% - The reason why the leaves are tacoing up to the light is because the canopy cannot take the high PAR, the temp at the top of the canopy is only 76F so that is acceptable, but the plant is trying the sweat due to the high PAR, but because the humidity was also too high it was not sweating as much as it should. - The reason why a light stressed plant shows different deficiencies eg. magnesium and phosphate is due to the "extra sweating" that takes place, cannabis plants don't choose what they intake, if they need more water to sweat, extra nutrients will be absorbed and this will lockout some of the other nutrients in the solution. **End of week update: Tried multiple changes but still no luck on getting rid of red leaf stem. - Added a 1 hour sunrise and sundown light regiment - Decreased Humidity to 65% from low 70's - Top of canopy PAR decreased from 600 to 350. Leaves red stems still not going away and top of canopy still trying to get rid of moisture with fan leaves pointing up. If anyone can chime in that would be great thanks.

Mix packs and Gorilla Z were fed Dr. Earth w/worm castings and top dressed with compost. All plants received full strength Silica Boost foliar spray. Mix pack#2 showed 2 unopen pollen sacks (?) which were removed.

Nose Candi - Harvested Plant Overview — This final image showcases an exceptional harvest result. The plant displays dense, resin-rich colas with a heavy coating of trichomes, signaling high potency and well-developed cannabinoids. The buds are compact, chunky, and carry a stunning mix of deep purple hues, vivid orange pistils, and touches of lime green—a truly striking visual contrast. The sugar leaves and fan leaves are dark purple to nearly black, suggesting strong anthocyanin expression, likely influenced by genetics and possibly cooler environmental conditions during late flowering. The trichome coverage is thick and milky, with some amber likely present, indicating peak maturity at harvest. Overall, this plant appears to have reached optimal ripeness. Bud structure, coloration, and resin production all point to a top-tier result — both visually appealing and potentially very potent. This will likely cure into a beautifully aromatic and flavorful final product. Excellent work!

Day 78, I switched plant #2 to an all PK diet with FloraFlex Full Tilt. She’ll take up the whole 3.5 gals of nutes by Wednesday. I’m then going to begin my 3 day flush Wednesday evening. And I will chop her on Saturday evening. I also took a little sample nug off plant #2 just want to compare non-flushed to flushed weed. Also see how much they shrink in size. Day 79, Plant #2 is on schedule to start flush in 2 days. And I will give her the chop this coming weekend. Going to try a ice flush using frozen water bottles to see if I can help bring out more color. The other plants #1 and #3 are still a two weeks or so away from being chopped. Day 81, started the 3 day flush on Plant #2. And took some more photo shots of her buds and a 360° view video. Day 84, Plant #2 got the chop. Wet weight, before light trim and removing large stems is 760 grams!!! I will update once they finish drying, and then again once I finish the trim and about to jar them for cure. Plants #1 & #3 are still flowering, probably another week or two before they are ready to be chopped.

Here we are at Day 2 of Week 6 of flowering. Temps and humidity are practically unchanged from last week. I’ve made peace with the fact that I won’t get intense aromas due to the high nighttime temperatures, and I’ll definitely lose some yield and potency. But I don’t care—I knew what I was getting into and the risks involved. Last watering, I reduced the dose of Bioflores and Bioboost, cut out Bud Factor X and Bloombastic, and introduced Rokzbastic at low doses (trying not to repeat the Bloombastic mistake—I’ll keep doses low and alternate applications). The three waterings before this were plain water with Cannazym and a minimal dose of Bioflores, slightly heavier, to flush the medium a bit (given the burnt tips). The plants aren’t stretching anymore (maybe except one Californian Gold). I adjusted the ties to maximize light penetration. The buds aren’t huge or super dense, but they’re well-coated in resin—good enough for my expectations. Hoping to see them bulk up over the next 2 weeks. The Californian Golds give off the strongest scent—super sweet—followed by the Sensi Stars. The "dwarf" Mendocino Skunk has the most foliage and the least smell, but it’s looking nice and chunky. Fingers crossed it delivers too. The biggest plant is a Californian Gold: wide, tall, and packed with flowers. Really beautiful. By the end of Week 7, I’ll check trichomes closely to monitor ripeness. In theory, the Sensi Stars should finish sooner, but given their "irregular" development, I’ve read they might need an extra week. The largest Californian Gold is also the least mature and will probably be the last one chopped (unless it pulls off an unexpected sprint these next two weeks). Catch you later, folks. Stay tuned.
