While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. day 49 just pure water phed down. it is day 51, morning before lights on, I might chop today. I use a zero water filter pitcher got off walmart. My humidifier is only a sonic wave. If you use regular tap water it will get gunky in a sonic humidifier. If you have a heat humidifier that boils the water the mist should be clean. These are the 2 types of water humidifiers. Researching best water filters this "zero water" also comes with a free ppm meter! yay! Other water pitcher brands; the water still has ppm. So water misted will still have ppm contamination. You can easily used distilled water only, and reverse osmosis. I just fill a 4gal office water jug with the pitcher and fill my humidifier when needed. I do not use a humidifier in my entire grow up to this point when I chop, I need the perfect rh or this whole effort can fail. growing up to this point only requires 20% effort, chopping now for the 2 weeks dry is this 80% of crucial determination, succeed. A lot of tasks are required today for a clean chop. I feel confident, observed my cross seeds with pink paradise and one with a slightly open caylex looks dark enough for successful germination. I figured 8-16 seeds may be created, 3-4 buds were potentially pollinated. Many growers don't understand when creating genetics with female/female there is a slight chance of herm. You lose 50% of your genetic function. Just water last 2 days, no humic no folvic, 1st time entire grow ha! There is a lot of cleaning to do, remove the trees, clean the entire tent and environment with bleach water, hacksaw. I am very proud of my grow. I have sampled 3 of the strains, dr. thunder legit made my lips numb but it could have just been the terps removing my skin cells from the sticky filter, no lie. This is my best grow to date. I did this for you, and to document hype or not under the best conditions I could give my plants, full max potential, although I wish I had more lights, I am not looking for industrial lol, this is how I grow. Learn a lot on youtube and podcasts there is many good content and I may dab into it. You can have a room full of growers and you have 1 seed in your hand, they will all tell you that their way is correct ;) and the best way. Oreo is stinky AF, Bridal is just amazing glad its massive, just not into sativa but the test seemed slight sativa with majority indica, pink untested, dr, thunder just a lip numming plant aha, its very nice, all 4 amazing appeal like advertised, and excited for next run. Either crosses from this or other copycat genetics. I will give you beautiful glamout shots today, the sizes of the plants, My guesstimate bridal 1lb, thunder 1lb, pink, 0.4lb, bridal 0.5, I am ambitious off 640w lm301h, and 4x 20w blurples daisy chained. day 51 4 chopped see you in a few weeks :D

Week 8: The Bakery is Open! 🎂👃 The Update: We are officially in full bloom mode! If last week was about the frost starting, this week is all about the bulk. The Wedding Cake is living up to her name the smell is getting sweeter, heavier, and definitely more pungent. Bud Development: The PK 13-14 is doing its magic. The colas are visibly swelling day by day, and the calyxes are stacking up beautifully. The "popcorn" buds lower down are hardening up thanks to that defoliation last week. Most pistils are still white, but I'm spotting a few starting to turn amber/orange as she matures. Nutrients & Care: Continuing with the "heavy hitter" mix: Bio-Bloom & Top-Max: keeping the sugars high. PK 13-14: pushing that density. Environment: Temps are steady at 25°C. I'm keeping a very close watch on humidity (aiming to drop it slightly below 65% if possible) to keep mold away from these chunky flowers. Next Steps: Just letting her bake! The structure is set, now it's just a waiting game for them to ripen. ⏳

The Morello Cherries Auto has developed well in the last 10 days. My humidity was a little too low, but the plant is slowly starting to develop an aroma. It’s not very strong yet, but quite interesting—I’ll go into it further as the plant progresses. It shows initial signs of phosphorus deficiency. I might look for some organic phosphorus fertiliser. I still have some Biobizz Biobloom, which I could use sparingly, but I’d prefer to avoid adding too much nitrogen. Let’s see how it continues to develop.

Home stretch baby!!! Start of week 10 of flower, and things are looking chop ready:) The ill effects of last weeks PK burn have subsided and the plants are back to healthy. Have been checking trichomes and flower form, and based on my experience, these ladies are coming down in 6 days, October 6th. One of the plants has the hardest, densest, stickiest nug i have ever seen. So looking forward to tasting. I have been off the nutes for a few days and will be water only from here on out. I have dusted off my old bowl trimmer and drying rack. I have always wet-trimmed and dried in a rack. I dry for about 5 days and then start jarring and burping. The bowl trimmer is soooo fast. It cuts my trim time by literally 90%, will post a video on chop day. Updates later in week F66 - Chopped the one girl who had a tonne of amber in her. Looks to be a good 2.5 zips when dry, time will tell if my estimate is correct, but it comes from experience. Other 7 plants coming down on F71. Check my bowl trimmer video!
