My Soaptini plant is still pretty small, but it's got these beautiful, unique leaves that I absolutely love. I've noticed some of the new growth is coming in a little light, but I'm not too worried about it. I'll keep an eye on it and see how it develops. It's definitely a slow starter, but I've got a feeling it's going to be a real showstopper once it gets going. This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!

End of week 6 and things are really ramping up now! First couple pics on this week where taken 4 days after the middle of week 5 pics on the previous week and there is a huge difference and I also got in just before the HPS came on to snap these pics and video so you can see them much better then under my HPS pics taken on day 40 into flowering also in this weeks diary. These girls are not messing around, giant buds everywhere and no signs of them slowing down anytime soon...lol we might be looking at more then 8-9 weeks of flowering I’m thinking at this point. Still got 1 ugly plant eating her leaves but I’m thinking now it’s just my lower nutrient doses making this happen. It’s a really slow progression so far, but I’m loosing a lot of guard leaves up top on the one, but she is still got the biggest buds....hmmmm just gonna let her go and see what happens. So far so good! Lol Cheers 💨

🍇 BlueBerry #1 & #2 — Week 7 Flower From Roots to Resilience Hello beautiful souls, welcome back to our BlueBerry adventure — and a warm hello to anyone just joining us! Let’s do a little recap before diving into the magic. From seed to soil, our girls were lovingly nurtured in Aptus Holland super soil, guided by biological balance and living nutrients. Through every stage — from seedling to lush vegetation, from first pre-flower pistils to dense, frosty colas — these BlueBerries have been nothing short of spectacular. Last week brought a challenge: Bud rot found its way into one of our beauties. But quick action, gentle hands, and a bit of intuition made all the difference. We removed the affected areas, adjusted airflow, and kept a close eye. This week, we’re happy to say no new signs of rot — just thriving flowers and crystal-coated buds glowing under the light. 🌞 Environmental Notes It’s been hot, really hot — outdoor temps reaching 45°C (around 110°F). To manage, we’re running the grow during night cycles, where we can keep the environment steadier. Even with heat challenges, the girls are handling it like queens — strong stems, thick stalks, and buds forming beautifully from top to bottom. 🌿 Feeding & Support Our current recipe remains the Aptus + Plagron combo: • Aptus Regulator, CalMag Boost • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal & Green Sensation Together, they’re forming the symphony of this bloom — supporting cell structure, enhancing terpene expression, and encouraging thick resin development. One of the top buds was removed this week — not out of sadness, but as a precaution and an act of love. It was massive, too dense, and could’ve invited humidity trouble again. We took the chance to document it with photos, showing both the beauty and the lesson. 🌸 Reflections This grow has become a story of evolution — from the first transplant to the first flower, from trial to triumph. The inner canopy lights (ICL300) continue to shine beautifully, ensuring every level of the canopy is well-fed with photons. The plants are stacking heavy, leaning on the yo-yos for support, like true heavyweights in the ring. 💬 A Note of Gratitude A huge thank-you to Zamnesia for keeping the classics alive and to everyone following this journey — readers, growers, dreamers, haters, lovers, and the endlessly curious. Every comment, every question, every bit of love fuels this passion. We’ll keep learning, keep growing, and keep showing that even when nature throws a curveball, love and attention always bring balance back. Week 5 Report: White OG – Thriving After Topping! 🌟 Another week, another chapter in the White OG’s journey—and what a resilient beauty she’s turning out to be! Following last week’s topping, she’s bounced back like a champ, showing us just how strong she is. While the temperatures dipped a little this week, she’s staying steady and pushing through like a true survivor. 🌱✨ Growth Update: Recovery in Full Swing After being topped at node 7 last week, she’s been focusing all her energy on lateral growth, with new shoots emerging beautifully. Her structure is looking strong and balanced, with all signs pointing to a bushier, more productive plant in the weeks ahead. While the room’s been a little chilly, with temperatures around 18°C and RH at 60%, she’s adapting well. These slightly cooler conditions are giving her an opportunity to build resilience while still maintaining steady progress. Nutrients: All-in-One Pellets Taking Charge This week marks a small but important change in her feeding routine: I’ve paused the use of All-in-One Liquid, as the Aptus Holland All-in-One Pellets are now fully kicking in. Why Stop the Liquid Feed? The slow-release pellets are designed to provide consistent nutrition over time, reducing the need for additional liquid feeds. They’re packed with everything she needs to thrive during this vegetative stage. Of course, if I notice she’s asking for a little extra love, I’ll bring the liquid feed back into the rotation. Room Conditions: Staying Steady Even with a slight dip in temperature, the room remains an ideal environment for her vegetative stage: • Temperature: Around 18°C—on the cooler side, but manageable. • Humidity: A stable 60% RH keeps her comfortable and prevents unnecessary stress. • Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED continues at 200 PPFD, delivering steady, compact growth with no signs of stretching or stress. These conditions ensure she’s getting the balance she needs to continue recovering and thriving. Looking Ahead: Strength and Structure As we move into Week 6, I’ll be keeping a close eye on her continued recovery and lateral growth. Her bushy structure is already forming beautifully, and I’m excited to see how she uses her energy to fill out and prepare for future training and flowering stages. Shoutouts and Gratitude 💚 A huge thank you to the incredible sponsors and tools that make this journey possible: • Seedsman Seeds for the fantastic genetics—don’t forget to use the DOGDOCTOR 10% off discount code! • Aptus Holland for their unparalleled nutrient solutions. • Pro-Mix Soil for the perfect foundation with their HP Mycorrhizae + Bacillus blend. • TrolMaster for keeping the environment perfectly dialed. • Future of Grow LED for lighting the way. • Cannakan, where it all began. And, of course, to all the followers, supporters, lovers, and even the haters—you’re all part of this journey! What a great strain...definitely surprised me positively. Thank you Exotic Seeds for the opportunity to work with you trying this awsome plant. It has a steady growth, kinda short and bushy like a lot of plants with strong indica traits Very dense buds, big ones, fat and resinous. With a LOT of productions all-over the plant. So much thricome production it sparkles white. Cutes it yesterday (17/12/2023) altough on my opinion it could have 1 more week. Altough because of the huge problem I had to do it. This grow tent (specially the other plant growing side by side) had a mold issue, bud rot spreading fast. I must have lost about 5 65 grams of wet flower total on the Fat Banana. When I cuted it 🍓 Strawberry Cola weighted 829 grams it has a lot of defoliation done alredy but I'll trim it 100% when dry. This is it, thank you all of you growmies for watching this grow. See u guys on the next one.

In general i am very satisfied considering the biggest problem i had which was the heat during all the growing period. I also had a power cut which stressed the plant very much to the point it stopped growing for a few days ( the most critical days 😡 😤 ) and developed 3 finger leaves. Despite the heat the buds are very frosty, they have a very strong smell like brown sugar and cookies and the density is decent. The buds dried for 9 days at 22 °C and 60% RH and now are placed at PP tapers with boveda envelops to cure. Smoke report at 2-3 weeks.

Last compost tea feeding tomorrow will be the end of week 7. I am very happy with this girl. She has massive sense even colas. She’s covered in 💎 and smells amazing. No issues of any kind. The last week and a half she’s only gotten organic teas and will only be given water for the next 7-10 days and then nothing till harvest with 36 hours of darkness

Hi! As expected I harvest both plants on the same day. I removed the biggest leaves and now their drying inside the same tent they grew. Humidity is about 62%, which is an very good humidity level, I’m not using humidifier nor ac unit, temperature are between 25-28 degrees Celsius. I amended the soil with wormcasting, some to dust and organic nutrients to prepare for the next cycle, the bed is covered waiting the plants to finish drying and the new light panel to be installed. I’m expecting a drying period of 10 days since humidity is stable at a good range. Thanks for the comments and followers on this cycle. Stay tuned for the next one! Peace!

Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Competition Wonder Pie 8th May 2020 When I first saw that Greenhouse seeds were running a Worldwide competition I was amazed because Australia does not normally get included in such things, especially involving Cannabis. But I knew straight away that this was the chance of a Lifetime for me so I applied straight away. When I got the email saying I was in I was over the moon with happiness. The Contest will see the winning Diary/Grower win a trip to Amsterdam for two with accommodation in the apartment above the famous Green House smokeshop. To be in the running I simply applied to grow one of their chosen strains with their own Nutrients (greenhouse feeding) I picked and was very luckily accepted to grow the "Wonder Pie" strain alongside the Greenhouse feeding Bio Feed Range. Here is a little bit of info on the "Wonder pie" strain courtesy of Seedfinder.eu Wonder Pie, sweet, fruity and petrol aroma It is a wonderful hybrid between two really powerful lineages, Wedding Cake Cannabis Strain (aka Triangle Mints: Triangle Kush x Animal Mints) and OG Kush (Chemdawg x [Lemon Thai x Hindu Kush, Pakistan)]. It produces tall plants with a vigorous and branchy development with flexible but strong branches. It develops an ideal structure for applying pruning and moulding methods such as topping, LST or Main Linning. It also offers good results when cultivated in SCROG. These optimisation techniques help both to control its size and structure and to maximise the harvest by enhancing bud production. Wonder Pie marijuana, with a balanced, euphoric and relaxing effect The harvest is ready after about 60-65 days with a yield of up to 550g per m2 cultivated in an indoor grow tent, and a yield of up to 800g per plant cultivated outdoors. It produces flowers completely covered with bright and aromatic resin, it is a good variety to perform Live Resin resin extractions and enjoy them greatly in a resin vaporiser. Wonder Pie offers a sweet and fruity aroma and flavour, with exotic gas touches that permeate the palate for a long-while and drive your taste buds crazy, particularly when inhaled using a cannabis vaporiser. It produces an intense effect of rapid appearance, combining a euphoric and psychedelic feeling with a pleasant body relaxation. It is ideal to consume it at any time of day. Green House Seed Wonder Pie info: Type: Feminised cannabis seed Genetics: Wedding Cake x OG Kush Indica Sativa hybrid Indoors flowering: 60-65 days Outdoors harvest: End of September Indoors yield: Up to 550g per m2 Outdoors yield: Up to 800g per plant For my Grow and entry I will be using soil with some added hydroton and perlite for extra drainage. All feeds will be from the Greenhouse feeding bio nutrients range, that came with the seeds for the purpose of this competition. To win this would be a dream come true as I have always wanted to travel to Amsterdam ever since watching Cheech n Chongs Movie Still Smokin back in the 1980's as a teenager. The first steps to starting my grow are preparing my grow area, which involves a thorough cleaning with bleach. Then I set up lights and fans etc and test it all to make sure everything is working. Then on the 4th of May I recieved the seeds in the mail and immediately began to soak four seeds in some tepid water overnight before transferring them into a moistened piece of paper towel then into a ziplock baggie for another 12 hours. From there all germinated seeds will go into the rockwool cubes for about a week before being moved into the final grow out pots. From there they will veg for 7-8 weeks before I flip to 12/12 and flower them accordinly. As of today (8th May 2020) I have 3 healthy seedlings from the four seeds I soaked. So now they are up it's officially Game On 🙏 I am still waiting for the Greenhouse Feeding to arrive but thats ok because I won't need it for about a week. I chose 12 Litre Fabric pots because of the height limitations in my Grow tent (need a bigger one but cant afford it at the moment ) as soon as the powdered feeding arrives I'll mix the required amounts straight into the pots so they are ready for when I transplant the seedlings into them. Before I go I'd like to thank Greenhouse seeds and Grow diaries for this Amazing oppurtunity Also I would like to wish Good luck and Good Growing to all other Entrants LET'S GROW....... Grey_Wolf

As promised — I fixed everything, dialed it in 🙂 Plants are doing great now, growing fast and looking healthy. You often see people asking: “My runoff pH keeps dropping, what should I do?” I used to recommend increasing potassium, even though at that point it was just a theoretical assumption — I hadn’t actually tested it yet. Well… now I have. And it works. Situation: Input pH is stable around ~5.8, but runoff pH keeps dropping over time (in my case down to 5.2, even 4.7 on one plant). At the same time, EC is either dropping or at least not increasing. I tried light flushing — yes, it helps temporarily, but: Only short-term — next day pH drops again Adds unnecessary stress to the plant (basically suffocating the roots) Solution: Increase potassium. First, I boosted it by about +50%, then added another +30% on top of that. Example: I had ~2 ml per 10L → increased to 4 ml → after 2 days up to 5.5 ml of Canna Mono K. It took about 3 days to stabilize — runoff pH went back up to ~5.7–6.0. If you’re using base nutrients: Just get some Canna Mono K — it’s made exactly for situations like this. Yeah, I know I’m basically mixing my whole solution around it, even though Canna says you can’t build a complete feed with it alone — but in practice, it works for me. Also, side note — now 10L lasts me about 2 days. And that’s it for veg — switched to 12/12 on day 36.
