Really happy with my yield. 70 grams doesn't look it. But adding up 14 plants i nearly push 1400g.. so overall I'm a happy chappy.. Love MSNL. I've lots to hit on their list. I've another GDP auto going Thc bomb auto & Purple haze auto. (I've like 6 hazes going atm so I'll run this later)

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Weeks 14 thru 16 I had to eliminate my other 2 plants(too strong of an oder). But after drying out had 1400grams from both plants. This one that’s left smells like diesel gas??, and the buds are turning rust colored? Is this normal for NL#5XHAZE My other 2 didn’t have these charactoristics. Not giving her any nutruents…just plain ole water. She’s at 16 1/2 weeks and growing fat fast now that the other 2 are gone, all of the sun for her. Hope I can wait until the end of the month before harvesting…but, I don’t know😅

Although both plants are amnesia haze, they seem to be showing very different traits already. AH#1 is forming typical Sativa like buds as expected and should be ready for harvest in the next couple weeks. AH#2, while 3 weeks younger, is much much more pungent than her older sister and the plant is already a lot bigger in size!

Started Training Late! Was on summer holiday for a week and only started training now. Above are the plants during training as well as a few hours after training. Autos are definitely more delicate and the two runts are growing slow but yet still showing some progress. Changed my bulbs back to the CMH set to 400w each (2) Also gave them a good amount of water as the FloraCaps aren’t covering the whole pot I felt like it was necessary to wet the entire grow medium well for a change. Some of them were a bit far along for training but I did the best I could. Also the Purple Lemonade and 2 other plants are showing signs of flowering.

Everything is running smoothly. We’re at the start of week 2 so there’s not much really speak on at this point. Will be upping the nutes when I water next. See you guys next week with an update. Stackn n gettn stinky. Every strain has sum kinda fruity note. The gorilla blue has the most distinct blueberry smell that Ive come across so far. The D has a fruity/floral thing goin on. The wedding cake is given me a fruit cocktail smell and so on amd so on. Started to see fungas gnats. Got cocky from last run amd didnt get nematodes, so mosquito dunks it is. Think im gonna top dress with some of the leftover dirt still in the tote this week and being done with it. Water n recharge til its done.

Late update, ran into some issues with the roots but the end product is still decent. Will make some tweaks next time, the problem was my transplant. I didn’t put the plants down deep enough and the soil was compacted to add. Plants start tipping over and nearly derooted when buds got heavier. Also was using too much nutes, will be switching to coco. Don’t think I used too much, soil just retained a lot of the nutes and water. Hoping coco will solve that issue for me.

This plant grew 5 inches this week!! @Divineseeds says that this Candy Auto should reach heights of 100-120 cm, so we are off to a good start. In addition, Candy Auto grew remarkable well even though we had a terrible rain storm and hot/humid weather. The dog days of summer are upon us. When I looked up Candy Auto on the Divine Seeds Website, it states, "Thick growth on the sides of plants makes a for higher productivity..." If you look really close at the pictures I loaded, you can see that there is a lot of growth under the leaves. As of today, it looks like this plant is going to do BIG things. Another interesting fact about this plant is "Auto Candy buds possess medicinal properties: their moderate effect kills off depression and irritation, nausea, insomnia, muscular spasms-like a velvet medicine!" @AdvanceNutrients Jungle Juice Grow is what I am using exclusively for this grow. Woop happy with how the grow is coming along had fun trimming the girls down shitting myself at the same time though😝 still on an 18/6 schedule as I didn’t want to over stress the plants following defoliation and scrog . Scrog setting up wasn’t too bad hope I done it right 😅 the screen is slowly becoming very green haha .. I’ll keep looking around on the web to widen my knowledge but for now it seems all is good my plan is to switch to 12/12 starting week 6 and around this time I should look into adding bloom to feed the autos as I’m sure they’re in pre flower stage right now but if ever in doubt I shall ask Some cool photos to look at as well Happy growing ☠️

I think I’m gone to chop at the end of this week around day 57
