December 4th:starting in the winter, veg and bloom will happen under 400watt hps to keep the grow room warm. the seeds have been germinating for 2 days with the wet paper towel technique, they got root and are now in soil and the rockwool cube. for now im just waiting for the seeds to show root coming out of the rockwool, then i transplant to the netpot with clay pellets straight in the dwc, untill then they get fluorescent light (max 7 days) these are autoflowers so they get 18 or 20 hours light. nutrients General hydroponics three part :micro gro bloom and calmag water: rainwater (25ppm) i hope the room wont cool of too much when the lights go out. Day 1 (December 5) seeds start to come above the rockwool and the soil Day 2 (december 6) stems start to stretch i give them both pure rain water with 100ppm calmag when they feel dry. Day 4 (december 8) still no root visible out of the rockwool Day 5 (december 9) root visible outside of rockwool cube and transplant to the 55Liter rdwc air pumps 10l/minute Day 7 (december 11) root comes trough netpot, i lowered the water by removing 3Liters

01/19 - Tied her down completely (HST) - full light coverage - running in 2x2 until clones in 3x3 are complete then transplanting into 3x3 - offsetting clean water and nute feeds. 01/24 - She got a little funky on me a couple days ago after the tent and light transfer, She is in recovery mode right now - She should be back to norm by Mon - Tuesday.

Quebec Blast is growing good still. She got heavy training today. A good defoliation to open center up, and lst has been steady on extending branches. Looking at about 3 weeks as this is the start of week 6 before light change. They are getting big fast so might be sooner. As long as I can keep the nutrition level in check since it is so little. The SE5000 should provide a good room of colas in the end. Light intensity is at 60 percent just with more distance between plant, and light. I just been adjusting to a lot of changes. New light and finding the spot the plants like. Which I believe I found the vegging sweet spot I might be just a little too strong on light intensity. Going off what the leaves were saying before defoliation. Plant seems fairly happy, and has really long roots going. Been changing the solution about once a week since it is only a gallon I use. Plus have been trying to get a good tds level the plant likes. Think I found it or am really close. She is in a New Level Hydro bucket. All is going good for now. I can't believe how big she has gotten for surviving in just a solo cup! Kinda opens doors in my mind on ideas for gorilla grows at low cost (only takes 1gal to run vs 3+ in a normal dwc bucket). I'll be honest and admit I've made the biggest rookie mistake and overfed, I knew I was really pushing her and wanting to see how far I could actually take her and burnt her tips in the process. The new growth is still green at the tips by the buds which is promising. I lowered her nutrient uptake slightly by 1ml for each base nutrient and gave a little less than 1/8 tsp of bloom booster. She got pretty tall and therefore top heavy, so the one afternoon I checked her and she was tipped over but no breakages, which was awesome. I tied her to the ceiling of the tent and now she is going nowhere. Been removing lower leaves and small growth that isn't showing sex yet. Once the colas have pre-flowers I remove all lowers that don't to help send energy upwards. I'm still seeing evidence of what I believe is rust fungus, though its growth has become much less noticeable than a few weeks ago.

Day 50. Oh boy .... Most challenging healthy grow I ever had ... Have loads of things covering each other and it's hard to understand, but they constantly unhappy .... Low temps day and nights, different rate of watering, wind damages, too intense lights, understanding feeding with living soil, too high humidity for best VPD and so on .... Loads of challenges !!!! So I decided to harm them more ;))) In the middle of action I was almost regretting it ... But heavy defoliation, SuperCroping and lolitoping session is DONE !!! All 3 Northern Lights are worst in this run. Smallest plant is still in veg or early preflower. All 3 Green Cracks found strength and power and now at least two plants look very decent !! Alaskan Diesel is my love of this run !!! Amazing strain, super fast, super healthy and productive !!! Hope after all that heavy training my humidity will be back to desired 65 , not 70+. Day 52. Long story - short : I am f@ckingly HAPPY, that I did it, plants grew 7 more cm, colas on some and quantity are INSANE !!! Video tells it all ... Day 56. Even if I'll screw up @Seedsman is amazing house ! They just overgrew my setup, I can't crop 25-20 colas on each plant, so tops are burning a bit and yellowing, not best for photos, but amazing for quantity still !!!! ;)))) For this not to be all fun, today I had two hours without electricity, temps dropped to 13 in the night .... All heaters were off ... Happy Growing !!!

La resina sigue en aumento y alcanza niveles muy altos, cubriendo por completo flores y hojas cercanas. Los tricomas se mantienen mayoritariamente lechosos, con una presencia de ámbar aún moderada, señal de que la planta está cerca de su punto óptimo pero todavía afinando. this lady from the off set was the fastest growing and largest plant from the off set growing bushy with lots of leaves needing the biggest defoliation's too get that important light down too the many branches below, she is drinking about 8 pints of feed a week and loving life , and her bud production is also coming along nicely too , i cant wait too try this one ,

Plans this week: new bluelab guardian connect coming (ph/ec/temp monitor for the reservoir tank) I think I’ll finally mount things neatly on the wall. More pruning the lower canopy; and some low stress training maybe. I hope the flowers keep maturing and start really gaining some girth this week. I’m excited and hopeful but a bit scared of the pk booster and overall nutrient level/EC increase - I’ll keep watch for nutrient lockout etc. Other: Utility sink/drain/water line install I hope. This grow is taking up all my “project time” - Hopefully I can finally spend some time on my arcade cabinet project starting this week. The plants didn’t get light for 37 hours the other day (6/23?) . I had removed the lights to build the frame. I thought I had everything ready for a quick swap. And then I got sick; daughter’s car broke down; my plan for the light frame wouldn’t work; I ran out of angle aluminum; and did I mention I got sick. Anyway they missed only one 12 hour light period plus 1 extra hour (plus their normal dark periods before and after- so that’s how I calculate 37 hours) They actually seemed to mature and redden a bit faster with the extra darkness. Gotta think positive. Upgraded the tent! (6/24/19) It’s now a hydropolis 3x3 “plus size” (extra few inches bigger all around and 8 inches taller than my old vivosun) - much nicer. Wow what a tough job. Very tight space in my room. This is way too late to be moving plants to a new tent - but sliding the old removable tent bottom with all four plants and scrog all at once over to the new tent wasn’t as bad as I feared. Setting up the whole tent again and moving everything was a pain in the ass though. I did a little pruning of the back side of the plants which I hadn’t gotten to in a while - some dead leaves under the scrog mostly. I wonder if all this trim (from recent days too) is gonna yield any amount of even sorta decent bubble hash. I’ll freeze it and try. I hope they like their new home. I did a lot of the swap and setup with the lights totally off in my basement and using only a green headlamp. Argh. I partially failed in my effort to make a complete aluminum frame. I didn’t include the 4 solstix in the frame. But I did make a frame for the two HLG 135s - I re-hung the solstix individually and with their lame individual drivers that are underpowered (I’ll get to the the rewiring and driver replacement one of these days)- I added the far red puck, and I finally added the new HLG QB36 UVA (I’ll try it for the first time tomorrow - with sunglasses on!) - update: tried it. Seems pretty sweet - wish I had some directions or some idea if I should only be using only one stick like I am or the entire 4 that I think they sent me in error. I’ve got a reasonable amount of space between my lights and top of canopy now (15+ inches) - if the damn stretch is finally done I might be ok. I really shoulda flipped sooner like everyone warned me. Live and learn. The utility sink/drain line/water line is still not installed - so I’m still carrying water up and down stairs which sucks. I’ll use pk13/14 this week after this rez tank empties and I give it a good cleaning in a day or so. I’ll also continue to use mammoth p and all the other nutes. - ok tank cleaned and making a new soup for feeding later today (pk 13/14 started on 6/25/19 11:30pm - I plan to use it for 7 days??) I changed the drain/waste bucket to a small bin - and placed it inside the tent — it works well with the condensate pump- so tomorrow I’ll drill holes in it, install grommets and run the drain lines to it permanently - which will be much better than the 5 gallon bucket sitting outside the tent in my small space - plus the gravity drain lines were a pain coming out of the tent and I had to weigh them down to keep their height below 2.5” - now it’ll be just one pumped line. - ok done. I drilled a bit too fast and cracked two of the holes. Siliconed it for now- I’ll replace the little bucket this week or next - it’s fine for now. (6/25/19) So much better! - now no more gallons of water weighing down the drain lines and no more drain lines coming out of the tent - except for the single pumped line that goes out the standard tent hole. And so much neater in the tent etc. Woot!

Roots look very healthy I tried different method for starting the seedling that seem to work. Plant seems very healthy at 10 days of growth. Will try to do the shortest veg time possible. Having issue with water temp. I added some H2O2 and will make new solution tomorrow, will try to change it twice per week

Here in week 5 she starting to produce little Budlets she's moving fast I'll reamend the soil with some Earth Juice dry nutrients for bloom she gets worm castings Cal Mag and hybrix molasses once a week during this week I'll also drop the light to 20 inches

Very good journey to me, she has responded very well to the lst training, providing me beautiful colas, enough for me to have nice clean organic nuggets to smoke. I would definitely would run this Ak420 by seedstockers again, the sweetest phenotype was the number #2 which you can take a look at here in my page!
