Die Umstellung auf 12/12 ist passiert, jetzt beginnt der Stretch und dann die Blüte. Die nächsten zwei Wochen wird nichts geschnitten, nur die höchsten Tops werden auf eine höhe gebracht. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem aktuellen Stand! :)

Day 43 Update. Well the tall girl stretched past my lights maximum height. So I LST her main branch. See the first 2 pictures. 😀 Its very hard to capture there true beauty with just pictures so I took a video. So give it a watch. Well they exploded this week. The big one doubled her size and I had to move her down too the bottom level because she pushed her LED light out of her way to grow past it. Other ones only gained 5-10 inches. Very happy with these girls. 5 of them got defoliated, the other 2 didn't really need it. I was able to give the 6 bigger girls 2 shots of Bud Igniter before I ran out. I will have to get some more when I have the money. However I did just get Nirvana at the beginning of the week and they seem to love it. I'm still being careful I don't want to over feed them. The 7th one is still in veg at day 28. She got LST and defoliated 2 days ago but now you can hardly tell. I don't think she has even started stretching yet. She could be massive. They are being watered/feed every 1-2 days now.

Preparé concienzudamente el sustrato donde puse las semillas de las 9 cepas que voy a cultivar esta temporada, mi intención era emular la germinación espontanea que se produce en el bosque o campo, pensé en reproducir este escenario, mezclé un sustrato "cocinado" durante meses con nutrientes y minerales, añadí fibra de coco inoculada con Microorganismos de Montaña y mi Bio Coco EM que contiene minerales, hormonas, enzimas, etc. puse la semilla en superficie de ese sustrato y lo tapé con materia orgánica seca proveniente de Mulch rescatado de mi anterior temporada de cultivos, a continuación humedecí todo con agua caliente y miel, lo tapé y lo puse al calor de una manta eléctrica, a los 3 días asomó esta semilla de Thai Fantasy, dos días después otra semilla de Colombia Gold también salía del sustrato, pero 8 días después ninguna de las otras 7 semillas germinó, a la vista de una lupa, todas la semillas estaban podridas y con ácaros similares a los que se ven en el compost, el fracaso ha sido total, la ley de la selva a imperado y solo han sobrevivido las más fuertes, estas dos semillas tendrán las mejores macetas, se las han ganado. Ahora he vuelto a poner las semillas a germinar, pero esta vez sobre servilletas húmedas y calor, y prepararé un sustrato menos caliente para el momento del trasplante... adelante! Day 50 and the plant seems to be growing healthy even though it's not stretching much my understanding is that this type of strain it is slow-growing type and require more of vegetable time than others plants flower seems to be developing fine but because there is a large difference in height between this girls and the other girls of my tent I had to introduce a regular light bulbs in there to try to address this not sure how is going to turn out but definitely I need more light in there and with the shut down everywhere not many places to Source out new equipment so have to do new ways to make it happen. Day 52 the plant seems to be responding well to the light bulb as well I how to do a little bit of defoliation to try to promote more light in there it is a very bushy plant. Heeey all! Sorry for the huge amount of photos but this week was crazy. So many things happened and my lack of knowledge clearly showed up. I ended stressing one of my plants for no reason! 😱 At the start of the week everything was normal until I noticed that one of Roko's buds looked weird. It seemed to be too dry and orange for my tastes and I didn't know what it was. Obviously I started to ask around and I got so many mixed messages haha. Some people said it was nothing and I should not worry about it and others said they were 100% sure it was botrytis or budrot... aaaaaaaand I got paranoid lol. 😵😨 At first I tried to keep calm and ignore it for one day but the next one the bud looked even worse and that's when I feared the worst. What if it's really budrot? In general the values I write in here are approximates or an average of the week.. and usually my tent never goes over 60% of RH (in the dark it stays between 50% to 60% when I water them and on some rare occasions it reaches 65%). This time, after I checked the thermometer it said "75% of RH" but I did not know if it was during their sleep time or maybe some time after the lights went on) so once again I feared the worst! What if the plants stayed all the night with that amount of RH? Was that enough time for them to develop budrot? What if it's still nothing? Yikes. 😭 I had to do something and I did, I wasn't going to risk everything! I started removing the worst looking leaf to see if there was anything mushy or ugly between it and the pistils but I didn't see anything (maybe I was safe and that was something else? Or maybe the budrot was even deeper and I could not see it?) After reading I realized that the best idea was to cut the bud in half and then slice it to "see" if there was anything inside... so I did it and absolutely nothing showed up 😖! Those were good news! Sadly tho the poor plant had to go thru some stress after cutting that bud in half (at least from what I saw the insides were tightly packed and the photos showed some really cool stuff) The rest of the week was uneventful (compared to what I feared haha) and some leaves started to change even more in color (I love it). I think I'll start with the flush next week or the one after that one. There are some amber trichomes...! Thanks all for checking my diary! Hopefully you'll all find the pictures interesting! PD: None of the plants have seeds in them, even when one of the sliced buds seemed to be making them!

The smell is getting stronger, lots of citrus in it. All grows without any problem, as always with barneys seeds. Amnesia Lemon stopped stretching finaly and its now working on buds. looks like Im almost at the half of flowering. Will see how it goes next weeks. Cheers!

Beginning of the 8th week of flowering, final watering with Biobizz fertilizer (about 1/2 dose) before starting the flush in 2-3 days to allow the trichomes time to develop some amber trichomes in addition to the majority of milky ones I've defoliated the front one quite a bit, as it has the most buds compared to the other two, because its structure is more compact and I want to avoid mold.

CHOP CHOP Okay so the LST worked, not great but it worked basically. The head tops from Olga and the one on the back where showing 30-40% Amber already so I decided to cut them already. I’ve read about the 2 days of darkness so I decided to give that a try. After 48hrs of darkness I chopped down the selected tops! Because it where head tops they are hanged in the closet in a dark room until the branches snaps. After 5 days the buds where dry and I decide to cure them. I’m curing them with the Boveda 65% and its really easy. Just burp the pot once a day or a while and check the hygrometer. The first day the % was 75max and 3rd already 70%. The rest is still going until I see enough amber spots, this cut will be done immediately after the day so I can see differences. I’m happy with the buds and the first cut is 23g Dry weight ✌️🏼❤️💛💚

Week 5 : Colorado Cookies in Biotabs These have completely blown up, doubling in size, ripped up the metal hooks i had them in like it was nothing, they're liking the extra light, pushing out leaves and loads of flowering colas . i did take off one leaf that was throwing shade, but apart from that only LST every now and then to keep it under control and hopefully get a bigger yield. Mixed my beneficials with my micro, that's 14gs of powder for 900ppm , but i'm not worried because this is not "dangerous ppm" only some micro. They're starting to slurp it up : one extra watering a week that 3x 3 pints ! used some co2 enriched water only twice, i didnt dare put it in with the beneficials even though i know co2 as a soluble gas will not penetrate the cell walls of any of the organisms (that means it's safe!). I'll get some full frontal pics of the ladies next week, so get your lube out ! spraying twice with the micro and the kelp this week, not really following up on the co2 sprays because i eyeballed the first spray and now there's actually a bunch of residue all over the leaves, so gonna try and figure that out ! suggestions welcome ! 🚀

With the new netting up, I switched on the red lights along with the blues to help the plants stretch a bit to reach through the screen. It looks like it is taking effect, so late in the week (Friday) I trimmed some of the lower branches. Last week I FIMmed Zoe and Grace to give River a chance to catch up, and I expected 1 of 2 results: 1) FiMming will encourage growth in the cut plants causing them to grow taler than River, or 2) Things will stabilize and River will be on par with her siblings. But instead, I discovered a 3rd result: River is continuing to grow bigger and thicker each day and is even taller and fuller than her sisters. In addition though, the trimmed plants are developing nice, strong, sizable leaves, and most of the new growth is coming from down below, rather than near the top. Oh, and this week I added a new camera (Wyze) to the time lapses so I can take my pro camera out.

My Skunk Apple Run plant is still a bit young, but I can see those buds starting to form. It's a bit of a slow starter, with buds popping up all over the place instead of a nice even line. We'll see if adjusting the light cycle or its food might help it along. I'll keep you posted on any changes. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.
